Villa holiday rentals in Nilwella

We spent four days at Villa Sõmar and are completely satisfied. The villa is spacious, very clean and exactly as in the description. In the morning there is a delicious breakfast served by two very dear employees. The Sri Lankan banana pancakes are highly recommended. Furthermore, before arrival, you will receive a very detailed message in which, among other things, there are many restaurant recommendations, beaches nearby and even numbers of two tuk tuk drivers. The location is fine and you can reach anything by tuk tuk or scooter. All in all, we enjoyed our stay very much and would come back anytime.

super nice place to have for yourself. Take time to yourself while being close to the center of both Weligama and Mirissa. Both are easy to reach with a tuktuk or bus within 10 min. Sahan was super friendly and also his father helped us to all our wishes. The house was clean and atmospheric. The rooms were spacious, the pool was great and was cleaned every day.

We came in a group of 4 friends. Never seen such spacious villa. Comes with 3 bedrooms (two located on top and one at the ground floor). Spiral Staircase might be difficult for elderly. First thing that I must praise is the housekeeper, his name is Lakshan and he’s the most attentive boy ever. He’s always ready to assist. He helps to cook and reheat too. Theres ample of place for us to chill. From the living hall to the kitchen to the outdoor seats we basically fully utilized the space. The only downside is that it’s a little far from the Main Street coz the small lane seems quiet at night but it’s convenient to order food via apps so we never had to walk out. By the way; we arent pet lovers but the two doggies are sooooooooo well behaved.

We were a group of 4 friends and had booked the entire Ventana Mirissa property — and it turned out to be an absolutely amazing experience! The villa was neat, clean, and very well-maintained. The highlight of our stay was definitely the private pool, which was just perfect for relaxing and hanging out together. A special mention goes to Maleesh, the property caretaker. He was incredibly helpful, polite, and always available whenever we needed anything — whether it was guiding us with local tips, or simply making sure we were comfortable. The villa also has proper parking space within the property, which made things really convenient for us as we had our own vehicle. Overall, Ventana Mirissa exceeded our expectations — peaceful location, great hospitality, and a beautiful space that felt like home. Highly recommended!

We had the best time at the villa. The minute we entered we were in awe of the place. It actually looked better than the pictures. We were a bunch of girls and skeptical about the safety as it was a new country but Binara made us feel right at home. There was periodical cleaning at the villa with a caretaker always at the property. The pool was always maintained clean and the team maintained privacy as well. Binara was always helpful and responsive. The location is bang on as well. Walkable to beach and 5 mins to all the famous cafes like Kai, cactus etc. couldn’t have asked for a better place to live in SriLanka. Highly recommend this place- be it with you family or friends.

Eliya Villa was an absolute gem. Direct beach access made every moment feel like a dream, calm, golden, and just breathtaking. The hosts were incredibly kind and always available, helping us with cooking, arranging transport, and making sure we had everything we needed. Their warmth really made the stay special. The villa was spotless, beautifully designed, and so peaceful, felt instantly relaxed and at home. Waking up to the sound of waves, sipping coffee by the beach. It was pure magic. Would definitely come back.

Just... wow! We felt truely blessed with the opportunity to stay here. The pictures really don't do the view and villa justice, it's a really remarkable find and absolutely stay here if you get the chance. Sonali and her family are wonderful people, who really made the stay. Sonali's cooking was wonderful, lots of dishes each evening that were so tasty and taking the time to go through the menu with us is really thoughtful and made sure we enjoyed everything. Lesley and Ken have truely thought of everything, there's not a single thing missing and nothing to be improved on. We went out easily on tuk tuks to visit surrounding areas, only to return to absolute bliss with a dip in the warm infinity pool. We even took a little boat ride around the lake from the dock at the end of the garden that Sonali organised for us. This place is a true gem, and we felt so lucky to be able to stay here - just try and stop us visting again!

Clare’s place was everything & more than what we were expecting. The villa is absolutely beautiful, set in the most peaceful & tranquil surroundings. Nuwan’s cooking and hosting was the cherry on the top of our experience. Tushara also really looked after us. We were able to organise 3 private yoga classes & a massage - personal highlights of my stay at the villa. All of the above meant that whenever we left the villa, we wanted to get back straight away to our private paradise even though Ahangama is a great area to visit. Highly recommend staying and experiencing the beauty of Villa Sisila!!

Cecile has a dream place for any family to stay. From the location to the great staff, everything felt like home away from home. The great view, large pool, and staff who cooked tasty food contributed to this. If you love local Sri Lankan food, Manjula provides the best. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to any family who wants a peaceful view of Sri Lanka with the best amenities and a great staff to take care of them.

We stayed in Hiriketiya for a few days in early April and had an amazing time in the area. Siri the housekeeper really made our stay, he was amazing helping us with any house questions we had as well as giving us recommendations in the area and telling us fun facts about Hiriketiya.

Such a beautiful place with peaceful waterfront location, we stayed with a big group of 29 adults and south point villa and south point ocean was able to accommodate all of us very comfortably. We had a great time swimming in the pools and the ocean, taking sunset walks on the beach. The staff are lovely and work tirelessly to meet our needs, we had a wonderful stay and are already looking forward to returning next year.

We had a great time at this beautiful villa. It’s absolutely stunning and well located to the heart of Ahangama. Tim was extremely helpful and responsive. The staff were not overhearing and left us to get on with things. The breakfasts were delicious and portions generous. One morning we had the Sri Lankan breakfast and the next the international breakfast with delicious butter milk pancakes. Dinner was also great and the chef worked hard to provide a variety as everyone ordered something different. Thanks Gamunu and co we enjoyed our time at the villa.

We had the best time at The Palm Lanka and couldn’t ask for more! The kids were comfortable and the space is very family friendly and spacious. The location is perfect by the beach, and well surrounded yet you have complete privacy. We fully enjoyed the terrace, the pool, and the garden! Manel and Suresh were incredible support the whole time, serving amazing meals, helping with recommendations and anything we needed, even getting a birthday cake for our baby’s first birthday! We highly recommend this space and will definitely be coming back again ♥️

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Noumi, the staff were friendly, kind and responsive. We were welcomed with cold towels, juice and a fruit basket (5 star welcome). The villa itself was very clean, the photos are accurate! The breakfast and dinner we had in the villa were wonderful. The kids were well catered for with a massive box of lego and some toys/card games which were well used after beautiful morning swims at secret beach. Overall I would recommend this place to families or a few couples or even friends. Well located and a short tuk tuk ride or short walk into town and the beach. Thanks for having us!

Our stay was wonderful! We went for a short vacation for my birthday. Me and my friends had a great time here. The property was so calming and peaceful. The place was more than true to the photos. It was beautiful to the naked eye. A highlight of our trip is that the staff were so kind and service was excellent. We definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a getaway and wants to be immersed in nature.

Pavithri & Rajitha were great host. They took care of all our needs. The house was beautifully decorated and very neat & clean. Kitchen was with all amenities as described. The surroundings was very serene and beautiful. The best part was they invited us for lovely dinner on day at their home. Great friendly host. Highly recommended.

Our 3rd time back at Mula Villa, had a wonderful time, as always. The house is amazing and comfortable, a few nice upgrade since our last visit (filtered water machine, new cushions), we love this place and the fantastic staff. We were not at all bothered by neighboring construction noise as permis other comments

Ben was quite responsive and had proper recommendations of places to visit and eat during our stay. Roshan , the manager there was quite helpful , he set us up with scooter , cleaned the pool regularly , was always there if we needed anything. The location of the air bnb was perfect and it looked exactly like the pictures. Overall 10/10 stay
