Holiday houses in Nisida Spinalonga

We spent a week here and absolutely loved it. The hosts are so lovely people, sweet and courteous without being intrusive. The area is a dream, lots of nature, lots of peace and quiet. The accommodation is very nicely furnished. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back!

Great villa in a stunning location with incredible views and set next to an Olive grove. A car is a must really as too far to walk to Plaka. Taxi prices were reasonable if you do want a night out without driving (15 Euros from Elounda). Pool was spotless (and warm) and cleaned/serviced twice during our stay. Caretakers were extremely helpful. We did have a problem with one of the Aircons breaking down at the end of our stay but were given a fan straight away and an appropriate refund when it could not be fixed that day. Obviously stuff does go wrong and the host's response in this case means I am happy to give a 5* rating. Villa very well equipped with everything you could need. Only potential issue could be for those with extensive reduced mobility as there are steep steps to the property (we are late 60's and NOT an issue for us).

We had a wonderful holiday at the beautiful Villa Cristina! The view is unforgettable, sunrise is especially magical! The Villa has a tranquil setting in the hillside but there is a lovely little seaside village nearby. Liza was very responsive to any requests and helpful with recommendations. We would highly recommend!

The hosts provided a ton of detailed ideas for areas close by the house and were quick and kind to respond to every question they we had for them while there. The house was clean and comfortable, with the consistent background noise of crashing waves and a comfortable breeze we had the windows and balcony doors open every day. The kitchen was full of everything needed to make meals and we also ate outside on the balcony every day with the view of the sea :) If you are renting a vehicle make sure it's smaller, it will be much easier to drive through the small town streets and some tight turns up and down the mountain. This was the perfect place for a honeymoon, remote enough to be quiet and relaxing with the beach almost to ourselves pretty much the entire week and a half we were there, but also not too remote with villages and places to eat within 10-30 minutes of driving. Highly recommend staying here especially if you're in search of somewhere to have complete peace and rest. 😊

We had an incredible stay at this charming accommodation in Plaka, Crete! The highlight was definitely the small terrace overlooking the sea – it was exceptionally romantic. We loved sipping our morning coffee there and watching the sunrise. The location was perfect, allowing us to explore the beautiful local area with ease. The hosts were welcoming and provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We felt truly great during our time here and can't wait to return

We had a wonderful stay at the Seascape Villa! The views are truly stunning and the photos do not do them justice! Maria was an incredible and caring host/ point of contact and was so responsive, providing special tips and recommendations to make our visit enjoyable! She’s happy to help, and even called ahead to restaurants for vegan options for us - thanks! The separate and very private bedrooms with their own entrances are great for sharing the space. Lots of outdoor places to relax and enjoy the view. The secluded rocky beach is breathtaking and absolutely worth the hike down and up - more for the adventurous type but absolutely doable and worth it! So peaceful and gorgeous down at that beach. Sometimes there is some noise from the neighbors and their dogs, cats, and from the road behind the house which is normal/ typical if off a main road and with neighbors - just flagging that although it is private and somewhat secluded it can get noisy at times. 100 percent would return!!

The welcome from Elena's mother was very warm. The accommodation is centrally located in Plaka. Spacious rooms are available. You should be aware that the apartment is rather old. Especially the bathroom. It smells rather strong in the boxes...But the location, cleanliness and friendliness of Elena and her parents makes up for it:) Thank you!

This was my first time in Crete and the experience was made perfect by this lovely home nestled amongst the shops and restaurants in the heart of Plaka. The front door is only a few steps from the warm sea, so going for a swim became a daily ritual. Plaka is small but well provided with 2 super markets, shops for buying all sorts of souvenirs and plenty of bars and restaurants + friendly locals! The house has a lovely living space. We mostly sat out the front on the veranda where chairs and table are provided. The kitchen is well equipped and clean. Tall fridge freezer which will easily cater for a family. Downstairs also toilet, basin and main shower. Upstairs - double bedroom with air conditioning and its own balcony with drying rack for swimwear and washing. Twin room (two single beds) also with air conditioning and an en-suite bathroom which features sink, counter and mirror (good for make-up), toilet and shower. A perfect base for a holiday and Alexandra is a great host :)
