Could have stayed there longer - so comfortable and clean, with incredible views

This was my third visit to Jane's and it keeps getting better each time. Can't think of a better place to visit for a detox with the family :)

A great house with literally everything included !! We used the belly boards, they were awesome and Sarah was very kind in her communication! The house has beautiful and interesting treasures all over :)

Rustic beach house. Not much to the accommodation, simple and comfortable. exceptional location. Loved our stay. Feels like you’re in a David Attenborough documentary. Would definitely return

A great retreat right in the heart of Kommetjie with tremendous views and easy access. This was a second stay here and we look forward to the next time.

When we arrived, we went to the wrong place and Graham came to collect us - he even helped and carried some of the bags. The apartment is stunning. Overlooking the sea - what a view! I can't wait to go back because I was not disappointed. By the way - the security lady was so helpful.. Graham is a gem as he kept on checking how we were doing..

The apartment is beautifully decorated, impeccably tidy, and incredibly spacious. Large windows in both rooms offer breathtaking views over False Bay. One of the highlights is the front deck—an ideal spot to enjoy a sunrise coffee while taking in the stunning scenery. The apartment is thoughtfully equipped with everything you might need, along with some delightful extras. Thank you for the generous treats—we thoroughly enjoyed the Rosé, crackers, delicious cheeses, and fresh fruit. The only thing worth mentioning is that the shower floor can be a bit slippery. Despite the non-slip mat, I had a nasty fall—so just a word of caution there. That said, Kevin and Ilana’s apartment is a true gem. I still rate it a 10/10!

Upon arrival we were met by our hosts, very concerned that the electricity was out for the entire Scarborough area. We assured them that we will wait it out, but despite this, they kept us posted with updates from the City Council, and the power was restored at around 10pm. They were amazing hosts and ensured that this short breakaway was absolutely awesome. My children and grand children had an amazing time. Would highly recommend this property. My entire family agreed that they would love to stay here again.

The second you step into the house you feel like home and back into your childhood. Fells like your grandparents house, in a more than positive way! The terrace is unbelievable, the views, the waves and the access to the beach! The bbq, the kitchen, you have everything you need and more! Francis is awesome and helps you with anything you might need! We loved everything!!!!

The apartment is a lovely neat pad practically on the beach, and close to to restaurants & shops. I found it very safe to walk to all the amenities. the apartment was very clean, Ezelna was very welcoming & I enjoyed my stay.

Had a fantastic stay here! The place was spotless and the location couldn’t be better—steps from cafés, shops, the tidal pool and the station, so everything in Kalk Bay is an easy walk. A perfect, clean base for exploring this charming seaside village—highly recommend!

Great as a base to explore Fishoek and Simon's Town. Beautiful walks on the door step. Trudy was a wonderful host, communicative about what was happening in the area. Strong thumbs up.

I’d book this again in a heart beat

Beautiful serene space, in one of my favourite areas in Cape Town. Hayley was always communicative and Ruwayda was always ready to help with anything we needed. The space is thoughtfully designed, and clearly a lot of love has been put into it. The only thing we underestimated was the number of stairs to climb (over 50) to access the house, Ruwayda kindly arranged for someone to help us with our luggage up and down, but we didn’t consider needing to cart things up at night in the rain. No regrets, we loved our stay. Thank you!

Really enjoyed my stay here. The place was modern, clean, and had a stylish vibe. It’s in a charming seaside town, about a 30-minute drive from a really nice surf spot at Muizenberg Beach. The host was great. Super helpful and welcoming. Also loved that the apartment had direct access to a mall with shops and restaurants. Would definitely stay again!

Absolutely loved our stay! Every room in this place offers a view, but the living room view is truly unbeatable—you can see Table Mountain, Lion's Head, Robben Island, and the ocean all at once. The top-floor room shares the same stunning panorama. Staying here made me want to move to Cape Town! The neighborhood is both secure and peaceful, exactly as it appears on the website. The home itself is even more beautiful in person. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone visiting Cape Town. An unforgettable experience!

We had a wonderful stay in this comfortable and very well equipped house. Kalkbay is literally on your doorstep and you do not have to drive anywhere after parking on the first day. The locals' early morning cold water plunge in the Dalebrook tidal pool can be watched from the stoep with coffee from the downstairs deli :-). thank you for sharing your home with us.

Susan’s place is even better than imagined. It has a unique view of Clifton’s bay, very safe and private with 24/7 security. The decor is very charming and you feel right at home. Everything was clean, smelled great, bed and linen were comfortable. The kitchen has a lot of amenities and perfect to cook. Susan’s daughter Inge is very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this place and will likely be coming again. Thank you for hosting us.

we love staying in the majestic complex . its safe, quiet and secure . the apartment was lovely , views are amazing over the harbour and out to sea .

This was the perfect place to celebrate my mom's birthday, and to relax and unwind. We returned home rested and missing our stay already. Kate was so helpful in any queries we had! It was such a wonderful experience overall, and we will definitely be back. The place was cosy, very modern and is equipped with everything you'll need for your stay away from home. We enjoyed the loveliest views from the balcony and the comfort of this home was 100/10! thank you for the best experience.

The apartment has amazing views and breathtaking sunsets. The apartment has a great flow and is perfect for a family. It is walking distance to many restaurants as well as the beach. It is a great holiday home and has everything you need. The hosts are responsive and assist wherever possible. I would definitely recommend this place and would definitely be back to stay again.
