Barn accommodation in Nord-Pas-de-Calais

Lovely setting and convenient for the Channel Tunnel. Beautiful pool and jacuzzi and lovely barn. They were great welcoming hosts will certainly book again on our way to France

We had a lovely stay for the weekend. Jocelyne was a great host, even though there was a language barrier, there was lots of hand gestures and Jocelyne’s translation on her phone. Very relaxing and beautiful surroundings. We all fell in love with her 3 dogs. Lovely little pizza restaurant not far away and Intermarché 5 minute drive. The sauna was amazing, which is an extra €30 ph. Will definitely return again. Thank you for having us 😍

We had a lovely short break here as a family of four with two teens and a dog. The accommodation is compact but nicely done, well furnished and equipped. Beds and hot tub were immaculate. Aiden recommended the Folkestone harbour arm and local Cliff View Cafe, both of which we visited and enjoyed. We really enjoyed the WW2 tunnels at Dover Castle too. Would definitely recommend.

Caroline is a friendly host. She speaks perfect English. -- The apartment is quiet and has a large garden that you can use. Many birds sing there. -- From there, you can quickly reach the coast, the Seine or the Forêt de Brotonne. -- The "Parc Naturel des Etangs de Pont Audemer", the "Forêt de Brotonne" and the "Réserve Naturelle de l'Estuaire de la Seine" are of interest to bird watchers.

Very nice renovation of this traditional barn, the house is functional and very pleasant, you feel good there. Thanks for the stay.

Very well-equipped accommodation contains everything you need for a quiet stay with greenery. Adeline is very nice and welcoming. Nickel to spend a long weekend with the family. Not very far by car there is Touquet,Merliment ( walk in the dunes, restaurant the atmosphere too good), Montreuil sur mer, beaches 10-15min drive. I recommend it. I think spring/summer period would be bcp better too.

Really lovely place, we greatly enjoyed our time here and will stay for longer next time.

Spacious rooms. Bathrooms were equipped with shower and also one bath. This was practical for the grandchildren. Comfortable kitchen with all the necessary kitchen appliances. Plates, glasses and cutlery for sure enough! Outside, the children had a lot of space to walk, cycle,... Cool toys and sandbox. The animals also got a lot of attention from the grandchildren!

A beautiful place with nice linens and spacious. Nice touches like bread, jam. Juice and snacks. Possibly didn’t read the review properly but no shower only a bath with hand held spray. We are from NZ- shower people. We managed! Everything else great, super clean lots of space. Overall it was charming, just a few little tweaks.

Would definitely recommend this to friends and are very likely to return. Enjoyed local pub The Coach a walk away for burgers and cocktails. Shopped in the local Algar Lodge Farm Shop. The place was easy to find, well maintained, and completely matched the photos. We loved the hot tub. Very peaceful getaway.

Space, ease and peace The property was more spacious than the pictures had led us to believe, so the surprise was very pleasant. The design is modern and airy. The exceptional communication skiĺls and sincere thoughtfulness of the owner added a lot of ease to our stay and made us feel even more comfortable and welcomed. Finally, the property is located in a very quiet area of the town with a nearby lake. This gave us a feel of relaxation and of a slowed down pace of life. Our family has enjoyed a very lovely time and the kids who had plenty of space to run inside and outside will probably have wonderful memories of this place. We will certainly return and with great pleasure! Thank you very much to Ludiwine and her family ;).

Even nicer than shown in the photos! Very spacious, comfortable house with lots of privacy. On both the ground floor and on a high a nice quiet bedroom with a spacious private bathroom. We stayed there with a couple of friends and had plenty of privacy because everyone had their own bedroom and bathroom on their own floor. The shared stays are conveniently arranged. A wonderfully large dining kitchen with wood stove where everything from wine glasses to pans is present. Upstairs a spacious living room with French doors to a roof terrace with beautiful views. Nice, discreet hosts who had a nice attention on the kitchen table upon arrival. The region is simple and authentic, not tourists. Tourist attractions like Amiens or the booth are half an hour away. Recommended!

Lovely 1 night stay for a friend’s 40th birthday celebration! Gorgeous accommodation - spacious but with a cosy cottage feel for our games night and the hot tub was a fab addition! Lisa was super helpful and responsive to my messages when planning our stay and also while we were there too. We all felt very welcome and really enjoyed our ‘short but sweet’ time at the barn - thank you!

Hélène is the intermediary who manages the rental. The owners wanted to give us the keys and introduce us to the place themselves. They were very welcoming and warm (“English-style”). The accommodation is a real farmhouse beautifully renovated, decorated with great taste and perfectly equipped. The bedding is great. Each bedroom has its own bathroom and toilets. Other toilets are available on the ground floor. Board games, puzzles, ping pong, and billiards are available. The location is ideal for visiting Kent equidistant from Canterbury, Dover, Margate, etc... In total, a great choice (the best?) to stay in Kent.

We had a fantastic time at Marks beautiful house. We loved the outside space and took advantage of the glorious weather. We were left some basic supplies which was a lovely thought. Everything was spotless and exactly as described. Mark was quick to respond to anything we asked was a great weekend made extra special by our nephews wedding Deb

had a fantastic experience! Very competitive price and even a homemade beer from the owner on arrival. The house has everything it needs. We loved the garden, with chickens, chickens, goats, rabbits and geese. The children can spend hours enjoying the animals while we enjoy the sun or a game of Petanque. the host responds very quickly to questions and came to talk. Beautiful surroundings, beautiful cottage and beautiful weather we had. We will definitely come back next summer!

Alexandre is a very friendly, very accommodating and very responsive host The house is very nice and spacious(especially the living rooms, living room, kitchen in particular)tastefully decorated. the outside is equally nice with heated swimming pool and sheltered kitchen/ living room the house is finally well equipped for both adults and children I would highly recommend it! We had a wonderful family weekend there!

Very nice accommodation, well renovated and functional, brand new. Perfect for 6 to 8 people. The bedding is of quality The terrace is nice and spacious. Only small downside the lack of basic products, no soap in the bathrooms, no basic kit (at least 1 dishwasher tablet or 1 garbage bag so as not to have to buy everything when you only stay a few days would be appreciated).

Really great place to stay in nature. If you want to be awakened by the pheasants and love visiting the chickens, this is the place. We felt very comfortable. Everything is furnished with love, everything you need for a vacation. Louise responded immediately to inquiries and she and her husband made everything possible to help us as quickly as possible. The very clairaudient and secluded did not deter us! Thanks for a great stay!

E are very friendly and warmly received. Everything was present in the house to make it pleasant. It is ideal for people seeking peace and quiet.

Large cottage quietly located while being close to the coast. Everything is well thought out by the owners to make guests feel good: beautiful decor, 2 living rooms, almost every room has its own bathroom, 4 independent toilets, top bedding, sauna and Swedish bath, equipped and fenced garden, nothing was missing. A few pleasant details caught our attention: welcome with drinks from the area, each sink was equipped with a towel and soap dispenser, the bathrooms had sufficient towel racks and chairs,... ideal for a family stay with small children!

We felt right at home in the apartment. Sparkling clean, with a spacious bathroom, a nice sofa, spacious dining table and plenty of cooking utensils and crockery to stay comfortably. The communication in advance was more than friendly and very attentive, we felt really welcome. The area of southern Wallonia was the real surprise for us: beautiful nature nearby, and lots of adventurous and quiet hiking trails for choosing. Very nice house, clean, quiet, spacious. The terrace is lovely. We had a pleasant stay. Recommended! Be careful, however, the cleaning is to be done at the end of the stay.
