On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

Unique design, large window surfaces, and rooms on multiple levels. One bedroom with a double bed, and a large sofa bed in the loft/TV room. Tiled bathroom by bedroom. The lower floor with double gate, view of the fjord, and with its own toilet/laundry room and fridge/freezer.

Our cabin, "Bjørkeli", is located undisturbed in Engeskaret in Almestranda, and has panoramic views of the beautiful Vartdalsfjorden and the majestic Sunnmørsalps. Here you wake up to birdsong and can enjoy nature and morning coffee on the spacious terrace. The cabin has new, comfortable outdoor furniture, fire pan and barbecue. The place, Bjørkeli, is 50 years old. It has charm and a personal touch on furniture and interior. We think you'll be fine here.

Annex with a fantastic view

Enjoy the wonderful view from this idyllic storehouse located on Valderøya outside Ålesund. The storage room is over a century old, but has been renovated. NOTE: The storage room has electricity, but not running water or a toilet. Guests can use shower and toilet in the main house which is 30 m away. The bathroom in the main house is only used by you guests and access to the rest of the main house is closed off. There is 5 gallons of water available in the fridge. Cozy cabin near the lake, mountain and fjord views.

Location on Skredestranda, about 3.5 km from Årvik ferry dock, in a quiet and peaceful area. Here you can relax and recharge your batteries. You may be lucky to see a flock of sperm whales in the fjord, or see eagles and deer. Rovdefjorden is a busy fjord for both large and small boats, as well as cruise ships on their way to/from Geiranger. The cabin is located 20 m from the lake, where there are good fishing opportunities (rod). Steep rocks and shallow depths. We have life jackets available.

Fantastisk sommerhus ved sjøen. Oppvarmet basseng, utendørs boblebad, 2 havkajakker, fiskeutstyr. Dette er plassen for familier som virkelig vil kose seg. Naust rett ved huset. Masse uteplass. Kort sagt: en komfortabel base for aktive sommerdager, enten du vil bestige topper eller bare senke tempoet med utsikt over fjellene. Og kommer du om vinteren, går du rett ut på ski.
