Good chance of seeing the Northern Lights in winter, as it is dark around the cabin. The cabin has a fireplace, a large south-facing terrace, a fire pit, a toboggan, a lounge loft, and board games. Fjellsyn is located 1110 m above sea level and is a beautiful log cabin/granary on Haugastøl, with a stunning panorama view overlooking Ustevann and Hardangervidda National Park. Hallingskarvet is seen to the North. Here the sun is from early morning to late evening. The cabin has Rallarvegen and magical Hardangervidda as the closest neighbor. There is a short distance to Geilo and Ustaoset in the east, and Hardanger in the west. The cabin has nature right outside the door, and you can use the countless trails and tracks in the area

Parking is just outside the cabin wall! Animals are allowed. Free access to boat with 6 hp motor! 10-15 min drive to Langedrag Nature Park!

'Børtnes Hagehjem' Nesbyen, Hallingdal, Norway

We are a married couple from the Netherlands who fell in love with the country of Norway, AND with the house we now are renovating to become a Bed and Breakfast. We live in Hallingdal since 2008. When this small house in the garden (Hagehjem =Gardenhome) was ready for family and friends to stay in when they visit us, we thought that it deserved to be used the whole year round. Since 2019 we work together with Airbnb and it is nice that more people can enjoy this cozy space. Welcome!

The area offers great opportunities for fishing, hiking, cycling or skiing in winter. If you want to get up to the mountain quickly, it is only a five-minute drive from the cabin. This provides an opportunity to explore unique nature.
