Bed and breakfast holiday rentals in Norfolk

hi all , you can expect a good welcome in great surroundings. Very peaceful place in the country but still close to Norwich.

What a great place to stay.. excellent location, lovely room (Suite 2) and made to feel welcome from the get go…. We took our cockerpoo with us, a dog bed and treats were left for her.. The room itself was fabulous, loads of space with a separate seating area with armchairs. The bathroom was spectacular, a walk in shower and huge free standing bath - what a treat. Finally, breakfast in the Deli was something else, just superb and excellent quality. Will definitely be back soon.

Susan is a very hospitable, kind and interesting lady. We chatted frequently about our travels and interests. I highly recommend Susan's house. Thank you so much.

Amazing place!! Fab suite, super comfy with lots of little luxury extras. The Deli food was fantastic and very popular with locals and visitors alike. Brilliant location with lovely walks across the marshes and nice pubs. Pillows could be a little softer but that's personal preference and the bed was lush. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the North Norfolk coast and we'll definitely be back!

Heidi and Hugh are so helpful and friendly. Beautiful room in beautiful surroundings. it was lovely to see the deer and horses and you can see how well cared for they are. A great location with lots to see a small distance away. An amazing breakfast was served to our room each morning with a pot of tea. A beautiful place to stay run by a lovely family. Wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

I moved to Norwich to work at UEA and needed a place to stay while I searched for more permanent housing. I booked Fahri's room for 10 nights but found permanent housing after just five nights. Fahri was more than accommodating and understanding. A very generous host. The location is walkable to many shops and restaurants, to the central bus station hub. The price is right and the accommodations are comfortable. Highly recommend.

Thanks Anne for making my stay very easy and comfortable. I was attending an event at Chaucer Barn which was a couple of minutes walk away. Anne was a very friendly, respectful and responsive host. Despite being a room within her house, it was in a separate part of the house and with my own bathroom. I would stay again!

Lindsey is an amazing host. Very friendly, welcoming and attentive. Their home is beautiful and very clean. The breakfast was great . I would recommend to anyone heading that way.

My stay at Sallyann’s place was beyond perfect. Her space is incredibly clean, she provided fresh flowers in the room along with treats and coffee and tea. It is also situated on the cutest street in Bungay. Beyond her place being so amazing, Sallyann herself is such a lovely person. She was so easygoing and kind. I was visiting on my birthday, and when she found out I woke up to a card and a small gift. I have stayed at Airbnb’s all over the world and this one is the one I will look back on the most fondly.

I stayed with Emma as a lone traveller. Her home is in a quiet leafy location just minutes walk to Sheringham centre, it has good quality fixtures and fittings, is very clean and beautifully kept with lots of attention paid to detail. My room with its large en-suite was very clean and comfortable, had good quality bedding was quiet, bright and felt very private, I had no problems with the internet connection. Emma is very warm and welcoming, friendly yet discreet. She is very approachable and happy to share her deep knowledge of the local area. I enjoyed my stay enormously and would definitely return. This was a really lovely place to stay. Elizabeth was very welcoming, lovely to talk to and really charming. Her dog was very well-behaved. We had a really relaxing couple of days at Marie’s beautiful authentic country house. Lovely bed, great shower, fantastic pubs and local places to visit. We opted for Marie’s home cooked breakfast which was a treat! Thanks Maire for being friendly and kind.

Another peaceful stay with Anna in the Norfolk countryside. Anna is a good host and very engaging with good Norfolk knowledge.

Couldn’t of asked for a better host and place to stay! Couldn’t do enough for me made me feel right at home, was even nice enough to cook an evening meal one of the nights! Would definitely return and couldn’t recommend more, thanks Wendy!

Neil and Bev were great host and this was an ideal place to stay when visiting Ranworth. The room was well-equipped and the bed was comfy, and check in was super easy and hassle free. Lots of nice touches in the room and you have a whole section of the house to yourself so feels very private. Neil and Bev were very communicative and helpful. Thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay at Mechelle’s. The room was lovely, very cosy and comfortable. There were lots of little extras like a coffee machine, snacks and chocolates. We had a lovely breakfast of muesli, sourdough bread toast, jams, eggs, and one of the mornings we had freshly cooked sausages and tomatoes. Mechelle was very helpful at telling us the good places to visit in the area. The house is a good base for visiting Great Yarmouth and all the little villages nearby.

Amazing cottage, perfect for a family getaway. Place was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Well worth a visit. Thank you.

Dial House and hosts was all just perfect/friendly. breakfast choice and quality was great. cafe menu during day was great. the whole setup was everything we wanted. 3mins walk into downham market itself. good base for visiting local area. we were attending 2 concerts in Thetford Forest. would absolutely stay/visit again.

My stay with Jill was absolutely wonderful! The room was so beautiful and so spacious. I loved the decor within the room and the views were absolutely stunning. What a lovely peaceful place to stay. Breakfast was amazing and Jill herself was the perfect host. I loved seeing all the animals too. Would definitely recommend anyone to stay here, hopefully will stay here again soon!
