ABBOTT'S REST- A Definitive Safari Tent

ClaireRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We really enjoyed our two night stay at Abbotts Rest, we wished we had been able to stay longer. The place is beautiful and secluded and the private outdoor bathroom was really nice to have. Tim is a great host and there's plenty of great details in both the Safari Tents and on the campsite as a whole. Highly recommend.

Bell tents at Top Farm. Near Aylsham, Norwich

HannahRating, 5 stars9 months ago
We had a lovely weekend at Top Farm. It was mine&our 3 year olds first camping trip, my partner is a keen camper! We eased ourselves in with a stay in one of the bell tents. Judith&Clive are great hosts, Judith was great at communicating even prior to our stay. And we had a lovely friendly welcome from Clive who was keen to help us any way he could. The bell tent was positioned so we could see the sun setting over the heath. It was clean and cosy. You can take a lovely stroll around the beautiful farm land which my daughter loved exploring. The campsite is relaxed&peaceful. All the basic utensils you need are provided. The showers&toilets were regularly kept clean,&the showers were warm with a good pressure. The campsite is in a great location, a short distance from a lovely market town called aylsham. We used the well signposted cycle path onto Aylsham a couple of times to visit this lovely town including the black Boys in (great food) and bread source (great coffee). We recommend!

Firs Glamping - Silver Birch

CharlotteRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a fantastic stay at firs glamping. Everything you needed was there, and more! Every detail thought about. Its in a beautiful setting, and feels private with all the five tents facing outwards. The kitchen is well stocked and clean, the bathrooms work well and are clean too. My 5 year old daughter loved her stay, she was excited to sleep in the tent and said she was really relaxed while staying there. The beds are comfortable and we all slept well. Its great to have the fire in the tent to warm it up. I cant recommend this place enough, we will be back for sure! Thanks Sophie and Tom!

Western

AlexRating, 5 stars10 months ago
My friend and I had an excellent stay at Western. It's a wonderful spot, surrounded by trees and feels very peaceful. The tent is really large and luxurious and we were very comfortable. Cooking over the fire pit and listening to the tawny owls was magical! Tim was very friendly and helpful and we really enjoyed spending some time in the bar in the main barn, enjoying a cocktail and having a fun jam session on the piano. The surrounding area is great to explore on bikes, we enjoyed swimming in the sea nearby. It was highly memorable and I hope to return to the Western again sometime.

We had a lovely stay here at Firs Glamping. It’s a lovely site with good views, and a comfy bed. The facilities are good too and the fire pit an added bonus. It was lovely to sit outside in the sunshine in the morning.

We had an incredible overnight stay glamping at Bressingham. A quiet and cosy tent surrounded by beautiful gardens which made for a wonderful break from reality. We highly recommend this place, as it came with everything we would need. It is the perfect hidden gem! We will definitely be back and cannot thank the hosts Matt and Erica enough for providing the perfect getaway for their guests.

Lakeside bell tent with beach 3

AishaRating, 5 stars2 days ago
So pleased I stumbled upon Niki and Dean's listing! Dean gave us very clear instructions to help us find our way. Check-in was quick and easy, and we received a very warm welcome. We were instantly blown away by our surroundings, accommodation and the facilities available during our stay. Everything was spotless, easily accessible and just so cool! My personal highlight was taking our very own little rowing boat out onto the lake, while my fiance loved going for a swim. We finished the evening off with a BBQ on the firepit down on our stretch of beach - perfect. Our tent was gorgeous inside and the bed was very comfy. The toilets- inside and out- and shower were close by and very clean. We had our own shelf to store food in the outside fridge, as well as a range of cutlery, utensils and other kitchen items. We'd actually come prepared with paper cups and plates, so this was a pleasant surprise! Absolutely delighted by the chickens running up to greet us in the morning!

Country Cottage Bell Tent - Glamp @ the Priory

CharlesRating, 5 stars34 months ago
We stayed in the dog friendly country cottage tent. It was spotlessly clean and very well equipped including USB chargers. The shower was better than most I’ve encountered over the years in wilder camp sites. Gavin, the host, is a great communicator, does what he says he will do and if you don’t go for his breakfast basket then wow you miss out. He could not be more attentive in helping his guests whilst being utterly discrete. Next time we go we will ask for the bbq pack too. The other guests were really friendly and although we were only there one night we would have loved to stay longer and we will definitely return, my children will see to that for sure. 5* from us.

What a wonderful stay. We know this part of the Norfolk coast pretty well but we're so pleased to have discovered this place to stay. The venue has so much to offer, beds were super cosy with especially on a chilly April evening. Really recommended.

Scarlet Oak Bell Tent - Ashcroft Glamping

GeorgiaRating, 5 stars23 months ago
Our stay in the Scarlet Oak bell tent was amazing. Tents were spaced out enough for privacy but close enough to the toilets, showers and kitchen. The tent was donemout beautifully with such lovely attention. A beautiful picnic basket was filled with tea, coffee and crockery and milk was ready for us in the coolbox. The beds/sofa beds were comfy and had lovely duvets and blankets to keep us warm. Everything was clean and ready for us to use. Louisa was amazing, quick to respond to messages or phone calls. Met her on the second day and she was lovely to speak to, even remembered why we were in Norfolk. The weather hasn't been great this weekend but staying at Ashcroft was still a lovely experience, one that myself, my husband and two girls loved. Will definitely be back again!

Bell Tent 1, inc private shower room & proper beds

HannahRating, 5 stars44 months ago
We had a great weekend here! The site is lovely with trees and a creek and big bell tents kitted out with comfy beds and nice furnishings. We were staying in October so the electric blankets were very appreciated. There is a communal fire pit, plenty of logs provided and lots of picnic tables to sit around. The camp kitchen is well equipped (I can’t think of anything missing) and each tent has its own shower and toilet. Our kids loved it here, there is a trampoline, zip wire and lots of space to explore. Best of all friendly goats! This was our first time glamping and I would definitely do it again!

Hawthorns Glamping "Fallow"

FrancescaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Wow! We loved this trip so much! First time in a safari tent (and glamping with 3 children under 6) and I’m not sure we will never find one this great. The beds are comfy and cosy, our kids absolutely adored the bunk room and bunk beds, the shower was amazing and warm! Just 30min drive to a beach (we saw seals!!) Everything you could possibly need! We would love to come back!
