Kid-friendly holiday rentals in North Bethesda

This was my first visit to Silver Springs MD and staying here made it even nicer. The place was clean, quiet, and just as described. It’s a basement unit, with stairs to access it, but they were manageable. Abel responded quickly whenever I had a question. I came to visit family and felt comfortable during my stay.

Perfectly clean. Host was amazingly responsive to requests. If hanging out there during the day, you may hear children in adjacent living space.

I would definitely stay with Prosper again. The kitchen was fully equipped and the banno was clean. The bed was king size and although it was cold outside, the temperature inside the apartment was ideal.

It truly feels like home! This place exceeded my expectations. It’s filled with natural light and conveniently close to everything you need. The full kitchen is a great bonus. It feels like a retreat, with the soothing sound of birds singing and a serene backyard surrounded by nature—yet it’s just minutes from restaurants, shopping, and more. I would love to come back again. Don’t miss out on this hidden gem!

My husband & I had an exceptional 2-week stay at Sibo’s place while recovering from surgery. The home was conveniently located near my surgeon’s office and the hospital, with easy access to grocery stores, pharmacies, and restaurants. Having a single-family home made it incredibly easy for us to receive deliveries from Amazon, grocery stores, and restaurants—crucial during our recovery. The private, fully fenced backyard was a huge stress-reliever as we had our small dog with us, and it gave us peace of mind. The house itself was impeccably clean and stylish, with charming and thoughtful decor. We were pleasantly surprised to find fresh cream stocked in the fridge for our coffee—such a nice touch! Sibo was responsive, kind, and went above and beyond by coordinating the pickup of a rented lift recliner, allowing us to head home comfortably before rush hour. Overall, this home and host made a challenging time much easier for us, and we highly recommend staying here!

I booked the 'suite' less than a week before my stay. I was fortunate this roomy suite was available & at 70% the price of a lesser hotel room (!) with similar locational proximity to family I was visiting nearby via redline Metro. I highly recommend this to singles and couples looking for a location like this, although the bed is small ish for a couple. I was only their for three nights, but the suite would be fine for a multi-week stay. The bus stops (both directions) could hardly be closer. And hostess Susan is very proactive and responsive. My only minor concerns are not being able to turn off the front door light, I didn't need the motion detector light near the bed which came on occasionally when I rolled over in bed, and the noise from the dog(s) from the main residence upstairs can be heard in the ground level suite. Like I said these are minor concerns and I'll bet Susan could mitigate my two lighting concerns.

This place feels like home. A kitchen and a laundry room are all we need. The house is very spacious and has a great outdoor environment. This is a comfortable place. Gale responded to all questions promptly.

Very nicely maintained apartment ideally suited for families in a very quiet neighborhood. Hosts are always available and very responsive. We had a wonderful time exploring DC. Will be back for sure.

We loved staying here! Such a peaceful and beautiful neighborhood. We were able to walk to and from the zoo so easily which was perfect for us. The driving distance to go sightsee in D.C. was not bad either and the street parking was very convenient. Chris was always reachable in case we had any questions. Definitely would rebook here again!

Really great place to stay that is easy to access the metro line and far enough out of the city to avoid some of the major stresses. Lots to do and see within walking distance of the house itself, only about a 10 minute walk to the train.

I had a fantastic stay at Willie’s place in Arlington! The home was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described—actually, even better. The location was super convenient, with easy access to public transportation, restaurants, and shops, yet it was in a quiet, safe neighborhood that made for a relaxing stay. Willie was an exceptional host—friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. He made check-in and check-out a breeze and even offered great local recommendations. The space had everything I needed, from a comfortable bed to a fully equipped kitchen and fast Wi-Fi. It really felt like a home away from home. I’d absolutely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone visiting the Arlington/DC area. Thanks again, Willie!

Tucked in the heart of Bethesda with a quiet charm that somehow still feels central to everything, this stay was a gem. Getting around was a breeze—whether by foot, metro, or last-minute snack run to the 24/7 CVS or 7-Eleven. The apartment itself? Immaculate. Fully stocked with everything we could possibly need—and then some. The internet didn’t blink, the TV was streaming-ready (a blessing for our nightly Netflix ritual), and we barely had to buy a thing beyond food. Rodrigo was the kind of host you wish all hosts were—attentive, responsive, and refreshingly clear with every detail. Winston, the building manager, was also incredibly kind and helpful. Bonus points for the cozy terrace, which turned into our favorite nighttime hangout spot. All in all, one of the most exceptional Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. Would come back in a heartbeat—no hesitation, no second thoughts, just pure comfort.

Great apartment! Sean’s apartment is very comfortable and tastefully decorated. It is completely quiet at night and the bed is good. There is a good vibe in the neighbourhood and the apartment is less than five minutes from a Green Line metro station that will take you directly to the best art museums in the city. Sean and his co-hosts are very helpful and responsive. I hope to come back to Washington one day and if that happens, I will definitely try to book Sean’s apartment again.
