The Devon Coast to Coast cycle route runs past, which makes it the perfect spot for those looking for a base for their cycling or hiking trip.

Our home is set on Dartmoor National Park surrounded by some of the UK’s most stunning scenery. The house is light and spacious with a well kept garden overlooking beautiful Dartmoor. Plenty of parking as well. There are many different walks straight from our doorstep, and many cycle routes. Ten minute drive away is Tavistock an ancient pannier market town. Five minutes walk to the local pub. So many Devon attractions within driving distance and about an hour to Devon and Cornish coasts.

The Cloves Farm Shepherd’s Hut on the western slopes of Dartmoor National Park is the perfect rural escape, boasting panoramic views of Dartmoor. The cosy cabin is situated on a family-run working dairy farm near the picturesque village of Lydford in the heart of Devon. This is a perfect base to explore the South West and Dartmoor. There is a fully equipped kitchen, lounge and dining room. A beautiful bathroom with a clawfoot bath and a separate wet room shower, and two bedrooms (1 single). Please note, there are no laundry facilities.
