Holiday rentals with breakfast in North Devon District

Had a wonderful stay at Janine’s place very cosy and homely. Very clean with a nice comfy bed and a good welcome hamper. We were staying for a wedding at St Fagans so the location was ideal and the local taxis service was brilliant. Highly recommend Janine’s place to stay.

We booked a 3 night stay in the week. Harry’s place was fantastic. He supplied enough breakfast items to feed a few people, which was such a bonus . The house was lovely, really homely and comfortable. Our pooch was catered for too. Some really beautiful walks from the house into the woods, which we all enjoyed. The coast was about 30mins drive, which we did visit. One thing to note, some of the local restaurants/takeaways were not open until midweek which wasn’t a deal breaker but good to know. The Pig at Combe was a great place to visit and eat, dogs allowed in the Folly, highly recommend. Communication from Harry was great and we did get to meet him as they only live next door. We would definitely like to visit again.

We stayed here for the weekend to visit family. It is a very clean, well appointed home with lovely bedrooms, furniture and a homely kitchen diner. J was very quick to respond when messaged. We would have no hesitation in staying there again.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely Airbnb, and I can’t recommend it enough! Although it’s a new listing, it honestly felt like it had been hosting guests for years. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home with all the thoughtful touches the hosts have put in place. The house is spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything you could possibly need—right down to breakfast items and toiletries. It’s clear that the hosts really care about providing a welcoming and personal experience. The property is nestled down peaceful country lanes, offering a tranquil escape, yet it’s just a short drive from Taunton, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and even takeaways. It’s the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience, making it an ideal retreat where you have everything you need right on your doorstep. The hosts, Emma and her family, were incredibly welcoming and great communicators. It was clear that they couldn’t do enough to ensure our stay was

Martin & Lisa were incredibly friendly, helpful and charming hosts. We were treated with scones, jam and cream after a long drive, which was really appreciated. Our family loved staying at the cottage, we felt right at home and comfortable. The property was dog friendly too which was perfect for us with our 2 pooches! We also made great friends with their gorgeous pooch Nelson 💖 We would recommend staying here and will be back ourselves!

Absolutely fantastic place to stay. Beautiful little get away. Host was very friendly and accommodating . Extra touches were amazing. Bacon, eggs and a quaint little panty supplied with everything, myself and partner were blown away I would highly recommend

The 3 of us had a fantastic stay from start to finish. Felt truly relaxed. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and the Coach house was full of everything we needed, and catered very well for our 15 month old who had lots of toys to play with. The dog is great fun and friendly and its a lovely location to watch the many rabbits eating grass right outside the window. Will be back !

Rob’s place is in a quiet, developing part of Cardiff. It is easy walking distance to the heart of Cardiff’s central, pedestrian-friendly core which leads to Cardiff Castle and Bute Park beyond. The harbor can be reached after a pleasant 20-minute stroll along the River Taff. The unit is immaculate and well supplied, and Rob was kind enough to meet us upon our arrival and give us the lay of the land.

Sarah has been an excellent host in every way. The boathouse itself is beautiful and extremely quiet being left in total peace. Our dog loved it and felt like he was at home! The drive through the narrow roads to get to the secluded location is worth it!

We had a great stay here! Christina was really friendly making us feel right at home. She gave us some local recommendations and allowed us to come and go with zero hassle. The surroundings are stunning and we could have sat by the window all day. Great walking near by. Beach is a drive able day trip too.

Perfect 2 day stay for a wedding in the area. Kairen was super quick to respond to any questions and offered early check in if needed. Lovely place with every amenity we could have needed including a magical milk frother and some very thoughtful welcome snacks which were much appreciated after a long drive! Kairen was incredibly friendly and a delight to chat to, the majestic Percy the cat was also a particular highlight. Would definitely stay again if we were in the area, thank you again!

I felt more than welcome the moment I arrived, both Carolyn and her husband (teddy I think!) were so kind and helpful. I’d come down to cycle and see a friend. On arrival I realised I’d left part of my bike at home. The hosts literally went above and beyond to help ensure my disaster was solved and I can’t thank them enough. The Airbnb was delightful, beautiful surroundings and perfect location, totally private yet so near all you could need. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending a stay there and will be back, of that I’m sure!

This is our first Airbnb stay, also our first stay taking our dog. Having read and turned down a number of other Airbnb places the ducks wing seemed to fit the bill (no pun intended). The garden is lovely and secure, the rooms are extremely quirky which we both liked, our dog loved it. We didn't make best use of the many facilities including the pool, BBQ etc. We particularly enjoyed sitting in the garden listening to the countryside. As I've said our first experience with Airbnb but we were very impressed.

If we could give Julia and the wonderful apartment more than 5 stars we would! From the minute we made contact she was so helpful, friendly and knowledgable. The apartment was just perfect for the two of us but could easily accommodate a third person. It was so modern, comfortable and spotlessly clean and the attention to detail was outstanding, including the welcome pack. Nothing was too much trouble. The outdoor space was just as lovely as the inside with two separate areas to enjoy our meals outdoors and a glass of wine watching the sunset! Thank you Julia, we will be back, Kathryn and Roger

We wanted a last minute place for the bank holiday and what a wonderful place it was! Julia’s farm was lovely the setting was amazing. Peaceful, stunning views and lots of friendly animals. Julia herself was a great host nothing was too much trouble. Everything from showing us around, tips with the hot tub and ideas for what we could do throughout the days. We’d love to go back for a night or five. Would highly recommend

We enjoyed our one night stay. Communication and breakfast were both excellent. The bed was really comfortable. Just a shame we weren't there longer. Thanks for a nice stay.

We stayed at Caroline’s beautiful B&B for 2 nights for a wedding in the area. Caroline was so helpful and friendly ahead of the check-in and really went above and beyond to make us feel welcome on arrival. The super king en-suite bedroom was full of charm, had breathtaking views and a very comfortable bed! The breakfast was lovely and non-dairy milk was available as I had requested. I would highly recommend Caroline’s place to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the area.

Absolutely stunning property, Janet and Hugh are the perfect hosts who made our stay memorable, we were celebrating our golden wedding anniversary and they included such lovely little extras which was so thoughtful. The continental breakfast was perfect with a fantastic assortment, the fresh bread each morning was delicious. Mevagissey is a beautiful little town, we walked down most evenings to eat, we enjoyed The Sharksfin. We visited The Lost Gardens of Heligan which was stunning, also took ferry to Fowey which was a lovely day, the walks from the property along the coastal paths are amazing, bit tough at times for us two oldies but we managed. I wouldn't hesitate to book with Janet and Hugh again, we already miss Mevagissey and will return.

Love staying here! Kenny is a fantastic host and we cant recommend her any it enough. Already looking forward to our next trip!

Willow Haven was a lovely place to spend a night. It had everything you could need for a night or two, even longer if you are venturing out for dinners. The location is a little remote but was perfect for me and was extremely peaceful. Heather's instructions were spot on to help find the place. Heather was extremely friendly and responsive. Willow Haven was lovely and cosy, well laid out and had every home comfort you could need. I loved the accommodation, it was beautiful. I only stayed one night but would have been very happy there for longer.

What can I say? From the moment I arrived, Naomi was warm and welcoming and made me feel completely at home. She was full of great recommendations for coffee shops and nearby restaurants (there are a number of great ones) and knowledgable about fun day trips and local must-sees. Along with her husband Dave and son Michael, Naomi made my stay a lovely and stress-free one and I would wholeheartedly recommend their home for a stay in Cardiff. Thank you so much, Naomi. You couldn't possibly have been a more gracious host. :)

What a truly wonderful place to stay! Sian’s annex is absolutely beautiful with such thoughtful touches such as fresh flowers, copious amounts of delicious food for breakfast including jams, yoghurts, porridge, fresh orange juice and fresh fruit. Sian brings warm croissants too! We loved having breakfast on the patio looking over the stunning large garden. We felt very spoilt and so well looked after throughout. The annex is very private and the view over the Axe Valley certainly gives this gorgeous property the WOW factor. We slept so well in the large comfy bed with lovely crisp bed linen. The annex is very well furnished, with lots of storage space and opulent fluffy towels. The location is perfect for exploring Dorset and Devon, a short drive to the centre of Lyme Regis. It also has the added attraction of a great pub (lovely food!) and the nicest farm shop and cafe within a few minutes walk. Can’t recommend Sian highly enough. Perfect!
