House holiday rentals in North Devon District

If I had an issue or question the phone numbers provided were very responsive. Lovely house. Big and spacious. Great views from ours. Nice warm temperature inside. The hot tub might not be hot on the first day of book in though.

The place was spotless and well maintained. Beautiful location with a route to walk/ trek nearby too. We had a great time during the stay.

We had a phenomenal time! The whole house was spotless and the kitchen was so well equipped. We cooked all meals at home and had lovely dinners outside. The garden is absolutely stunning and a dip in the pond was a great thing to do every morning. Thank you so much Ian, we hope to come back again!

Absolutely stunning place. Louise was the perfect host answering every question I asked. The pool was a great hit with us adults and of course the children. The farm tour was lovely and Louise was very understanding when my little boy had a nose bleed whilst feeding the calves. I would highly recommend a stay at The Grange!

Amazing stay! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. Great location and super easy check-in. The host was friendly and responsive—would definitely book again!

Everything about Sarah’s place was terrific. The pool is amazing and worth the trip all by itself! Sarah met me and was incredibly welcoming. The bedrooms are comfortable and we spent a long time around the dining room table just having the best time. I imagine winter here would be amazing.

We had a wonderful stay at the Farmhouse and Sophia was a very kind and responsive host (eg we asked if they had a blue tooth speaker we could borrow and it was brought straight round - Thankyou!). We enjoyed the large sociable kitchen space with the comforting Aga to come home to. The garden space was very peaceful and we had great fun in the games room playing table tennis, table football and pool on our first night. We also made use of the swimming pool and playing boules in the garden. The house is large and comfortable for groups and families and has a Manor House feel to it which we loved. Thankyou for a wonderful stay!

My kids and I spent a few nights at this beautiful house, and it was truly a paradise—especially for families with children. The outdoor space is huge, with swings and a playground, and the warm swimming pool was an absolute hit with the kids. The hosts were incredibly helpful and even lent us a few things we had forgotten to bring. We had a wonderful stay!

We came as a party of 8 with 2 dogs to celebrate a significant (60th) birthday. Loved the location and breathtaking views. The property contained everything that we needed and was clean and tidy. Sally was a prompt and responsive host with any questions quickly answered. Those with mobility issues may struggle with the location, but it was perfect for us with some great walks nearby and wonderful pubs and restaurants. We would recommend this property.

Luke is a fabulous host! Not only is the cottage idyllic, peaceful and charming, but Luke left us some goodies for our arrival. These included a bottle of fizz, some delicious bread and eggs from the chickens he keeps on his small holding. There was loads of good recommendations for walks and activities within the cottage and Luke trod a wonderful balance between giving us our space and being there to offer advice and recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend the cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the countryside!

Cracking little find and something different with an upside down house . House was lovely and clean and for the first time staying in Croyde, we had water pressure for the shower .YAH THUMBS UP FROM THE TEENAGER .BIG WOOF Caroline and Richard were very response hosts and very kind. Was nice being away from the noise of the thatch and being a noisey neighbour looking at people in the camp site. back in Croyde In 3 weeks ,so let's see if it's free again. BIg woof from my dog,as even had bunnies In the garden to chase.

Edd and Andrea were wonderful hosts, and we enjoyed a fantastic stay at their beautiful holiday cottage. My wife, Emma and I have stayed in many holiday homes over the years, but I feel I can confidently say I never stayed in any that were so thoughtfully decorated and such care given to everything you might need to make the stay special. There were so many extra personal touches that you really see in don't see in other holiday cottages. There are so many to list, but some include a great DVD collection, games, quality soaps, a range of speciality teas and coffees and some lovely welcome gifts. Then, there is the stunning locations and views from every floor over the estuary and Crow Point. Each night, we were treated to an amazing sunset, viewed from the lounge or directly outside the house on the grassy verge. We were just disappointed that work meant we could not stay longer, but we will hopefully return soon. I can wholeheartedly recommend this cottage and the great hosts.

Lovely home, well equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. Great for 4 legged friends with a secure garden and suitable furnishings etc. The home is in a lovely area , with great views over the estuary from the rear of the house, particularly the main bedroom. Bideford itself is very pretty and a good base for exploring North Devon as it is close to the A39 / Atlantic Highway.

It was a beautiful sunny weekend in Devon when we stayed which always helps! It's a narrow road for car access, but easy to drop off your bags and park in a nearby road or in the village car park. The house is cozy and beds are comfortable with smart TVs in the front room and bedrooms. As mentioned in the description the stairs are steep but not an issue for anyone in our family. A couple of the windows didn't fully close, but not a problem as we all sleep with them slightly ajar anyway. Everything works well in the kitchen and bathrooms, there was a washing machine and dryer in a room off the kitchen, useful for damp towels. All in all would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Epic views and surroundings at The North Hill Cottages. The friendly host family has an amazing spot the perfectly situated property lifts you high above the world to a place of tranquil peace and beauty. The cottage was perfect for us and the property offered as much or as little as we wanted to do. The hosts were responsive and available, the other guests were respectable and friendly as well. Highly recommended!

Lovely quiet getaway. Would recommend!

We had a wonderful few days at Summercott, the cottage and surrounding grounds were lovely. Really nice to have dinner outside in the garden and our little cockapoo being able to wander around freely without fear of him running off! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to stay near to Saunton and Woolacombe!

We had a lovely time in this private secluded cottage with everything we needed for a great holiday. We were given detailed information for everything in a useful app. This is a nice little village with access to the coast and Exmoor so plenty to do. The cottage is spacious with a nice patio area and plenty of room. However the garden has been neglected which blocks the nice view over the valley, the grass was cut on Thursday though which helped as our dog suffers with grass seeds so before that we had to try and keep her away from it, which was a shame. The parking space is not far but is really an overgrown lay-by and only really suitable for one car although 2 small cars may be possible. But overall you’ll have a great time here.

Thanks Kirsty for a lovely peaceful break that we all tremendously enjoyed. The accommodation which was easily big enough for 7 of us, had great breakfast and dining space plus a beautiful lounge to relax in. The stunning views, being private and off the beaten track we’re just what we needed to chill and relax.. but close enough to lynmouth & Lynton & porlock which were all great to explore.. what a fantastic property Very much recommended..

We had a fantastic stay, perfect location only a short walk to Croyde beach and a 10 minute drive to Puttsbrough beach. The house was clean, as pictured and the perfect size for 7 of us. We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday.

Braunds is the perfect place to stay with a group of friends or family. I've stayed in many AirBnB properties and this is the best. Great communication, very clean, and well equipped.

The BANYAN is absolutely stunning, the décor, the style, the location are all amazing. We stayed for 3 nights and it was so relaxing and chilled, something that my wife and I really needed. We couldn't fault anything, from the responsive Alex and Jules, the instructions for everything, the high quality furnishings, the welcome pack, the peaceful surroundings. This is most certainly a place that we will visit again. A good base for a beautiful part of England, and we would highly recommend staying here. The photo's don't do the BANYAN justice! If you are looking for a place to relax and unwind in this part of the world then book it, you will not be disappointed. If you’re looking for a touch of luxury, in a peaceful beach location, with everything you could possibly need, look no further! This place e is brand new, looks even better than the pictures. It had every single thing you could possibly need and more. Even the welcome gifts were amazing. The view is stunning, and we had perfect weather. The hot tub is massive. The location is a quiet dead end just a 5 minute walk from an excellent Tapas restaurant, a pub and the beach. Celebrated my 50th here with family and it was just brilliant. I’ve already recommended to all my friends.

Penny and Paul were the perfect hosts. We have fallen in love with the Threshing Barn and all of their lovely animals. They are both incredibly passionate about their animals and are very knowledgeable about the local area, giving amazing recommendations (the Black River Inn did not disappoint!). The home was spotless and loads of information provided about things to do. We have already recommended it to lots of family and friends and we are planning our next visit. The evening won’t be the same without our trip to say goodnight to the animals !! Thank you so much Penny, Paul, George, Florence, Alfred, Pinky, Hugo, Gabriel, Merlin and all others !! X
