We had a great experience with Sam and the overall stay. I had some last-minute changes to our booking, and Sam was incredibly accommodating and proactive in helping us adjust our plans smoothly—his communication was quick, clear, and friendly throughout. The space is exactly as described in the listing: clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully laid out. It’s a cozy basement apartment. All the features—from the well-equipped kitchen to the comfy bed and living area—felt very intentional and well-maintained. Many little touches made the stay even better, like clear instructions, fast WiFi, and plenty of towels and toiletries. The location worked well for our trip. I'd recommend this spot to others looking for a quiet, functional place with a responsive and considerate host. Thanks again, Sam!

Robert’s cabin was perfect! We loved it so much that we would consider making another trip from where we live in Seattle just to stay here again. It was so clean and had everything we could want. I just love the vision they had when decorating their space. It was so beautiful. The hot tub was very spacious, we used the gas grill and it worked perfectly, wood was available for a fire, we used their cute seadoo pedal boat, which was so fun! Plenty of kayaks were available. The lake was a dream. We didn’t get to fish but there must be a lot of fish in there because they were constantly jumping out of the water. There were comfy seats all over the yard and a lovely gazebo. The inside was so cozy. Mattress was perfect. I could go on and on about all the things we loved but I’ll just say 10/10 recommend :)

Thee ONLY place I stay when I come to Hamilton. Every time I check-in, it looks like the FIRST time I checked in! Great space, all the amenities you could ask for AND at a great price! If you’re reading this review just stop now and book your trip!

Cleon our host was very friendly and welcoming. Perfect spot for our girls weekend. Beautiful property that we were free to explore. The home was private, very clean, spacious and had everything you would need. Big bonus was the tour of the birds and variety of animals. We enjoyed visiting freely on our own throughout our stay...especially the chocolate lab puppies. We highly recommend a visit..great for family's with kids, couples or groups of friends.

We had a lovely stay at Lee Anne’s place. The pictures really don’t do it justice. The rooms were so comfortable! The beds were dressed with beautiful quality pillows and linens. The kitchen had all the appliances and dishes you will need to entertain a dozen people. The fireplace is positively magnificent and there was plenty of dry wood just outside the door to enjoy it. The grounds are meticulously well kept and Lee Anne’s husband Tom was a pleasure to chat with. This property in the fall is stunning but I can’t imagine any season that would not be amazing here. All in all it was an incredible week in this beautiful home and we would not hesitate to rent it again. Thank you so very much Lee Anne!

We stayed at Kathryn and Gus’s place for a month and really loved it. It’s an entire house surrounded by nature. The property overlooks a small lake near a hiking trail. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. Kathryn and Gus were great hosts. They were friendly, responsive, and had great recommendations for restaurants and places to see. We enjoyed relaxing on the cozy couch in front of the fireplace. We would love to come back again!

Good spot for a last minute overnight stay with my dogs! Great location. Overall things were reasonably clean but the whole place could benefit a good deep clean. There was quite a bit of noise periodically late at night (dog running around upstairs) that kept waking up my dogs and I when we were trying to sleep. Overall it’s a good place for the price.

This is a great place to stay for couples or families with kids! We visited with our young kids and parents. The apartment is nicely laid out as the bedrooms don’t share a wall so it’s private. The front bedroom has an ensuite bathroom, nice for privacy for the parents. The host is quick to respond to any questions. It’s lovely to have milk, juice and bread and eggs etc waiting for you in the fridge on arrival after a long day travelling. The location is top notch- walk to the downtown core in 5 minutes and so close to the theatres. Parks just around the block for the kids. The photos of the unit are sparse - the apartment is on the second floor of the house, and the stairs shown are part of the private unit. There are two private small decks, one with a patio table and chairs. Great value, very clean and highly recommended.

Lovely and welcoming home in a beautiful neighbourhood. It was an easy walk to shops, pubs and restaurants. The backyard gardens were gorgeous and a perfect place to enjoy my morning coffee and afternoon sunshine. This is my favourite B and B in Guelph by far.

Stayed for about 2 weeks for a rotation at Hamilton General. The place was conviently located within walking distance to the hospital. It was very clean, comfortable and cozy, as advertised! Would stay again and highly recommend for anyone, including medical students and residents looking for a place nearby the hospital. Amber and Derek were excellent hosts, extremely responsive and proactive.

Anne's place is the perfect spot to stay in Kitchener! My wife and I, with our dog, spent a few months over the winter there and it felt like home. The beds are very comfortable, and it had all of the amenities available you could need for short or long term stay. We also had parking included as well as a private access. Anne is a 5 star host and made sure we had everything we needed during our time. I would recommend her place to anyone looking to spend some time in the Kitchener area.

What a quaint place! Was ideal as there are three bathrooms and bedrooms and plenty of common space. Fantastic location - we were able to walk to all of the theatres, shopping and dining. Hosts were great and very friendly and responsive. Will definitely stay here on my next trip to Stratford!

From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and cared for in a way that went far beyond what you typically expect from an Airbnb. The space was not only cozy and well-appointed, but also filled with a kind of peaceful warmth that made a difficult time a little easier for our family. Stephanie was a truly gracious host—thoughtful, generous, and always kind without ever being intrusive. The extra touches she provided meant so much, and the setting itself gave us room to breathe and regroup. This was more than just a place to stay—it was a place that held space for us. We travel to Stratford every year and have done so for about 30 years. We have stayed in a variety of accommodations over the years! We prefer Air BnBs over hotels, and because we travel in a group (we were 8), this location matched our needs perfectly. We like to park the car when we arrive and not use it again until we leave (Stratford is fantastically walkable) -- no problem! We like to try different restaurants -- the location is perfect for that (and for attending theatre). We're close family, but we also like some alone time -- with four bedrooms for 8 people, this apartment offered that! The apartment was large, open and bright with basic amenities suitable for our 2 night stay. The beds were comfortable, and the shared areas were roomy enough for us to gather. The hosts were amazingly responsive -- they provided detailed and accurate info ahead of time, and quickly answered our questions.

An absolutely beautiful property with lots of space, activities, and ways to relax. A perfect spot to camp in luxury, complete with hot showers, hammocks, firepits and a heated pool. Gerry was very welcoming and showed us around the property to help us find the perfect spot to pitch camp. Will definitely be back again!

The place was very nice, quite & peaceful area, walking trail on the property, surrounded by nature. It was very enjoyable for the time that was spent there. Very nice hosts. Would definitely rent again.

Gerry and Rosemary were extremely personable and my stay felt like I was with family. They were also very helpful and communicated quickly. I could not recommend them more if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing stay!!!

We had stayed at another cabin on the property before and we loved it. Mark, Melanie and the entire staff were helpful, friendly, and wonderful! We will always visit them at Willowlake in one form or another. The cottage was so clean upon arrival which was impressive! The only possible downsides would be the dumpsters being right next to the cottage (however smells weren’t an issue while we were there, your patio is on the other side of the cottage) and the staff trailer door was really close to our fire pit so it didn’t feel private or secluded (but the staff were great so that didn’t bother us). The one downside that was a pickle for us was the side door entry. Immediately upon entering the cottage there are stairs going down to the kitchen. We have a four year old so those stairs were a concern but within two days we were used to them and managed to finagle entry better. Overall it was a great experience and they will see us back at Willowlake next summer!

This place was absolutely amazing. It had everything you could possibly need and want. We enjoyed everything- the qames, pool table and darts. We wish we hadn't planned so much so we could make better use of everything. Thomas was very responsive and went out of his way to help when there was something we couldn't figure out. We loved being there and will definitely look to return if we return to Toronto
