Stylish Single in Kensal with Kitchen & Bathroom

HollyRating, 5 stars6 months ago
Wow! What an AMAZING stay. I really cannot thank the lovely Shasca enough for her hospitality, she is the most welcoming and gracious host and went above and beyond to make sure I felt at home. The room itself is gorgeous.. super bright and clean. With a fully operational kitchen, clean bathroom (with amazing water heating for showers!!!) and fantastic location, I really couldn’t ask for more. The recommendation of falafels from a nearby restaurant was icing on top of the cake. After such an amazing stay.. safe to say I think I’ve found my go to place to stay when in London. Thanks so much Shasca!! Hope to see you and your lovely husband soon!!

Delightful terraced house in Kentish Town

AnnieRating, 5 stars2 months ago
This visit was a return stay at Harriet’s place. Harriet is a warm and hospitable host who gave me some great suggestions about cafes, theatre and art exhibitions. Her home is in a convenient part of London. The train and buses close by. The room is cosy, with loads of sunshine, a lovely outlook to the garden and importantly - a comfortable bed. I recommend Harriet’s place and I look forward to another visit.

We enjoyed the room very much. We had very nice breakfasts when Leroy shared his best tips on sights and restaurants. Very nice reception and we felt well taken care of. We would love to stay with Chris and Leroy again if we went to London. ☺️

Sally and Chris were lovely hosts. Beautiful home, comfortable room, helpful with laundry, luggage, everything. Down the road on Greens Lane is the closest you can come to being in Turkey without actually being there. Great connection to many other places via Piccadilly Line.

Springbank Bed and Breakfast, Haverhill, Suffolk

JuliaRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Marcia welcomed us as pre arranged when we arrived. Allowed us earlier entry than listed due to our big family wedding we were getting ready for. Very quiet place tucked away off of main road with garden furniture for our use. Lovely clean home, well appointed, with good facilities for our use. Could have taken own food for our breakfast ( all crockery supplied in a dining room no toaster though)with micro wave and kettle in the rooms. Sure if we had asked early on in booking we may have been able to pay extra for breakfast to be included. All round nothing to complain about.

Bright independent studio, free off-street parking

FrançoiseRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
The studio flat is really cosy and well appointed. I was traveling on my own and didn't feel unsafe when walking to the Willesden Junction tube station. It's a 15/20 mins walk depending on how fast you can walk. The location is within easy reach of Richmond and Kew Gardens, which are lovely places to visit. I had a friendly chat with Despina before leaving. I wish I could have stayed a few more longer.

15 minutes from Harry Potter Studio & Snow Centre

DavidRating, 5 stars3 months ago
I had a wonderful stay at Diana's. She made the check in process really easy for me and she has a lovely house with the bathroom in particular being very highly specced. The bedroom was quite small but ok for a double bed( I am quite tall 1.90m so the bed was slightly small) but well equipped with kettle, toaster fridge & microwave. The breakfast offerings were a lovely touch with fresh milk, yogurts, fruit juice bread & cereals. I am sure I will be back soon.

Trafalgar Square-king or 2 singles Super Host

NavinRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I had a wonderful stay! Everything was exactly as described - clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, and I truly appreciated how friendly and helpful the host, Dr. Phyllis, was throughout my stay. The rooms and bathrooms were spotless, and I felt completely at ease coming and going as I pleased. It was a pleasant and peaceful experience from start to finish. I will definitely stay at this place the next time I visit London. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a reliable and welcoming place to stay in London!

A very pleasant host and easy to talk to on a number of different subjects. Maria was well travelled and cultured. The house is a six or seven minute walk from Hendon Thames link which is very handy picking the train up at St Pancras. The Number 83 bus stops outside the station and connects with Hendon Central where shops, takeaways and Restaurants are located. There are good bus connections to Kingsbury and Wembley and in the other direction Edgware. The Northern line goes to a number places of interest including the vibrant Camden Town which I visited

Couldn't recommend a stay at Ruth's accomodation more!! I stayed for a weekend as I was attending a concert at Ally Pally; which is within a short walking distance. As soon as I entered the house, Ruth was very welcoming and showed me around the kitchen and my room. There was snacks and coffee I could help myself to in the kitchen if needed. The space was nicely layed out for me, with soap, shampoo, towels and everything needed for my stay. The room was just as described, with a large bed, fridge, kettle and bathroom. Many reviews do mention the nearby train track, the noise didn't personally bother me but it may do others. Very lovely stay and Ruth's daughter even offered to make me breakfast! Thank you for my wonderful and welcoming stay Ruth, I will definitely be returning for Alexandra Palace gigs :)

Ana is lovely. She is chatty, friendly, easy-going, helpful and so accommodating. Ana has done an incredible job in decorating her house. The bedroom was spotless, clean, modern, comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was also spotless. The house is not far from Kensal Road Station and all local amenities.

Your Better Class of Bed and Breakfast

JeromeRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
First and foremost, the hosts were extraordinary and lovely people. They were extremely communicative and responsive. This was particularly important to me coming from the US with no knowledge about the area. The accommodations looked just like the picture with spectacular views of the city and the local park. The bedroom, bathrooms and kitchen were pristine. The bedrooms are at the top of three flights of stairs so be ready for a bit of an exercise. The host prepared a delicious and proper English breakfast each day complete with coffee/tea, fresh fruit, pastries, eggs, sausage and cheese. The location is quite remarkable. The neighborhood itself is stunning and idyllic. It is walkable to many shops, pubs, and restaurants. For example, Notting Hill is a 5-minute walk as is Holland Park (a must see). The location is also central, with most tourist attractions within a 10- 25 minute Tube ride (i.e., SOHO, Westminster, West End). I give my highest recommendation this place!

Boho B&B gem in North London

ClaireRating, 5 stars9 months ago
I felt completely at home at Leah's, from the use of the kitchen and other common areas including, what I loved so much, an upper floor deck with lounge chairs and an outdoor shower! The upper floor where I stayed had large windows which I could keep open at night for comfortable sleeping. The bed itself was very comfortable, and having my own toilet and shower was appreciated. I felt I had my independence even within a busy household! Leah's place reflects the artist she is, with books and artwork. Trains do run behind the house but I knew ahead of my trip so packed earplugs which are only needed if you're a light sleeper and either go early to bed or get up later when the trains are running. I felt the trains added to the London character of this Airbnb. All in all I enjoyed my stay at the Boho very much and would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in London!!
