a very nice house located close to lake Pielinen. We liked our stay and would highly recommend this!

Harri's chalet is very well equipped. We didn't miss a thing. As stated in the listing, towels, kitchen towels and sheets are not provided. We had therefore planned this in our suitcases. The environment is very pleasant and quiet. A perfect view of the lake! We even had the chance to see a moose, a magical moment! A car is essential to access the stores. For example, Savonlinna is about 50 km away. The only negative point was the cleanliness on arrival, requiring cleaning before we settled in. Harri was very understanding on this subject. We still recommend it because we had a very good stay.

Our stay at the villa was just amazing. We usually never go to the same place twice but we both are considering to come back again.

The room was better than I expected, quite large, we had our own entrance and could park the car in front of it. Toilet was clean but a bit dated. The room had a bunk bed which wasn’t shown in the picture or listed in text. It was fine for us but could be a problem for people with limited mobility. Breakfast was quite basic but nice. I would appreciate if fresh fruit were added though. The place was almost empty which is probably bad for business but was awesome for us. We had a whole empty spa for ourselves :) Checking in and out was seamless and pleasant. We got to keep our room for couple of hours over check out time without any fee.

The house far exceeds the photos posted of this house. The house is located in a unique and idyllic place. Just a 10-minute drive from one of the most spectacular landscapes in all of Finland (Koli National Park). The house is perfectly equipped.

This house is what you want for yourself. Kari has created a really beautiful place for himself and his family. Everything you needed was really there.

We had a great stay at this chalet. The house was clean and welcoming, Tamara had sent us all the directions as well as the good advice beforehand (where to shop, refuel, what to visit...). We really enjoyed the quiet of the place (only one terraced house), being able to swim in the lake, warm up in the sauna or by the fire in the evening. The set is well appointed, with some board games for evenings. The organization was perfect. We highly recommend this place!

We had a great stay

We enjoyed our five nights at Kari-Pekka’s very comfortable and spacious cabin. Best of all was the spectacular lakeside setting and surrounding forest. The silence was astonishing and the tranquillity truly transformative. Sitting on the pontoon and looking out over the expanse of water had an almost dream-like quality. It was utterly beautiful.

We enjoyed our stay in Muikkula Rantamökit! Pristine waters from Puruvesi lake were the cherry on top of our stay. Quiet, essential, not so many mosquitoes. We will be back for sure! The host and his dad very kind people ☺️.

The villa and the surroundings are very beautiful. We much enjoyed our stay in the villa and the peacefulness and beauty of the whole area. If you have a chance to stay in this place, don’t hesitate. The hosts were very helpful and friendly.

Clean, cozy, peaceful place. Great service in the sauna with the water ready. A wonderfully refreshing pond that was nice to take a dip in the heat. Hotel-level breakfast in the main house. I recommend driving a little aside is not a burden.

Comfortable accommodation next to the spa. A short trip to the beach, next to the outdoor terrain. The cottage has everything you need for a few days' visit.

A wonderful holiday on the shore of the bright Puruvesi. The cottage has everything you need. The landscape sauna right on the beach provided soft steam. The clarity of the Puruvesi water is absolutely incredible. Excellent value for money.

Everything was perfect. The owner has been very friendly and helpfull and has always answered immediately. The house is very clean, has a high standard and everything is of good quality. The house is nicely decorated and was very cosy. The location is great and the lakeview is beautiful. A clear recommodation for a perfect, relaxing holiday.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jaana’s cottage. There was plenty of room for everyone and outdoor amenities were great. Unfortunately the dock was not in the water as shown in the photos, but it was easy to get in and out of the water regardless. Jaana also had frisbee golf, darts, 2 fishing poles, and a paddle board rental that we used. A beautiful and quiet place with miles of lake surrounding the cottage!

Sari's home was really suitable for our party. There was plenty of room. The kids were wonderfully cared for.

I went here with 10 friends for midsommar! it was really peaceful and beautiful.

Treasure in the lap of Lake Saimaa - atmospheric, beautifully decorated log buildings and good amenities. The gentle steam of the sauna, swimming with the cleanest feet, and the perfect hangouts and dining spaces crowned the experience. And Marja-Tertu's heartfelt welcome with clear instructions made me feel welcome in a summer paradise. We enjoyed it and recommend!

We had a great time at Minna's house. It was spacious and had everything you need. The house was clean and the location was great. Even though there were a lot of cottages around, it was quiet and peaceful in the area during May Week. The windows showed a great lake view. Pielinen was nearby and it was lovely to enjoy the quietness and beautiful scenery on the beach. Thanks, Minna!
