Beachfront holiday rental in North Palmetto Point

Thanks for letting us stay in the lovely one bedroom studio. Everything was clean and fresh. Just like the photographs. It was easy to communicate with June, she was super helpful. Responded within 4 hrs typically. The walk to Gaulding’s Cay beach is only 3 minutes from the cottage. The beach is gorgeous with crystal clear water in a lovely cove. We used the paddle boards a couple of times and went out to the big rock. Great swimming and super quiet. My husband wanted to fly fish, but no fish scene at this spot. I’d definitely recommend Daddy-Joes restaurant, Taco Tuesday. An easy walk from the cottage. Good food and more reasonable than other restaurants. Live music some evenings as well which was fun.

We had a lovely stay at Sonshore Cottage! The house was clean, had a beautiful esthetic, extra beach towels were in the closet for our use, a soft cooler and plenty of ice packs were available for our beach outings, and more! Sarah was also a very responsive host providing us with a lot of local recommendations and help if we had any questions. We will definitely stay at Sonshore Cottage again when we return to Eleuthera!

We had an absolutely perfect stay at Gena’s beach cottage on the beach! It was ideal for our small family—cozy, well-equipped, and exactly as described and pictured. The location is unbeatable. We practically had the entire beach to ourselves, and the view was simply stunning. One of the highlights for our son was finding over 80 sand dollars right out front—pure magic. Communication with Gena was seamless from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for a better spot. Highly recommend and would return!

This was our first trip to Eleuthera. We wanted to explore central and south Eleuthera with a house away from crowds. Exploring and connecting with the location we travel to is always a priority to us. The Round House was perfect. We only ate out twice, using the kitchen (except oven) to prepare our meals. In the evenings we relaxed inside with all the windows open listening to the Atlantic and always comfortable with the breeze. The beautiful landscape around the house makes it so easy to fall completely into the island experience. We had a fantastic 7 night vacay. Taja and Doon helped make that happen. We enjoyed visiting with locals on the island. The absolute nicest people!

This was our 5th stay in Eleuthera. This home and the setting were on the top of the list for us. The home is perfectly laid out and had every amenity you could possibly need. The pool was perfectly positioned for full day sun and protected from windy days with lovely landscaping. We have stayed on double bay beach before, and we were excited to get back. The option to have shade and a hammock was amazing. The location made it easy to visit some of our favorite other beaches and restaurants. Thank you for a perfect week in Eleuthera. We will definitely be back!

It's hard to describe Paradise, but if I had to picture what it would be like it would be Cayo Loco! The beach and the water were the prettiest I have ever seen (and I have lived in Hawaii). You can walk for miles and not see anyone. To me there is nothing better than sleeping with the windows open and having the sound of the ocean waves lull you to sleep. Plenty of great things to do and wonderful places to eat. Our host would give us updates everyday with suggestions which was so helpful! They went above and beyond to make our stay the best it could be. Other than the amazing beaches, the most memorable experiences we had were with the people of Eleuthera. The culture there is to be welcoming, kind and considerate to everyone. They truly love and respect their island and want you to feel at home there. We can't wait to return and hope to stay longer this time.

I could not have asked for a better place to stay in!! This was perfect for our little family with our 10 month old baby. The view was spectacular and it was so convenient walking down to the beach everyday with our girl! The kayaks supplied were so fun! My husband and I took turns while we watched the baby on the shore. Such a great location too! Felt super safe! Next to great restaurants (Tippy’s and La Bounganvillea). Hewitt the property manager on site was so sweet. And dealing with Pam was amazing. Her communication was impeccable and she was so patient with us and All our questions. The house itself was beautiful and so comfortable. Book it! You won’t find a better place or property management team!!!!

the Beach House is something special. Lots of room and beautifully appointed. French Leave Beach is pristine. If we met someone on the beach it was unusual. A special feature for a naturalist guest was all the lizards and the Cuban Tree Frogs. On our last night, a night Heron came to visit the pool, a very special treat. we had a wonderful time. Close to everything.

Home/compound were beautiful. House was clean and comfortable. Beds were comfortable and the decor was clean was uncluttered. The island has little mosquitos which were quite bothersome. Need bug spray for sure! Eleuthera is like an untouched paradise. Barely any road signs or addresses which makes navigating the island an adventure but slightly frustrating if trying to go somewhere specific. This is an island for someone who enjoys going off the beaten path. Some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

My family and I had a wonderful amazing stay at your home. Every day was a beautiful adventure, walking around the island and exploring the beaches and snorkeling. It was serene, rustic, and a breath of fresh air from our busy lives. Glad we brought food as the grocery stores were something to get used to, but it was an adventure, and everybody was so nice. We will for sure come back.

Beautiful spot right next to the sea. We felt very private. There are water shoes that can be used and are helpful to get into the water, as it is all rocks. Josette always replyed very fast to my questions, thankmyou so much for that! We really enjoed this gem.

One of the few places we have stayed where you find the place is even better than the pictures! Beautiful condo with ocean views of the Caribbean and a secluded Atlantic side beach a fun golf cart drive away. Would absolutely come back. Wish we could have had more days to get more use of the pickleball court and pool but there was just too many incredible beaches to explore. Appreciated Brett’s quick replies- we had an issue with one of the air conditioners and he had it fixed within 45 minutes of sending him a message! Eleuthera is heaven. However if bugs want your blood like mine I recommend Picardin lotion/spray and a daily antihistamine started before you even get to Bahamas.

Shorebreak was as described in the listing and then some. The way things were setup such as propane tank for gas, water reservoir for running water, solar panels for electricity and Starlink Internet truly made it feel like an off grid stay with all the necessary amenities. Getting to the house requires some off roading so make sure you rent an SUV or off road capable vehicle. The only regret I have from this property is that while images show a small private beach, our group was unable to access the beach due to dangerous rocks on the way down. Otherwise everything was great!

Absolutely stunning location……the home sits on acres of beautifully landscaped grounds and a clean seemingly private beach. We saw only a handful of friendly neighbors (residents) each day. It was windy so the surf was rough but we found times when it was calm enough to snorkel on the reefs right off the beach. We did bring wetsuits just in case and that helped but we also swam in bathing suits, especially the kids. If it was windy at our beach, we could take a 5 min drive to Ten Bay Beach (and other spots) on the opposite side of the island where it was protected from the winds and the water was clear and flat calm. The house was extremely clean; furniture felt new; kitchen well equipped. The BBQ was a bit rough and no gas so we didn’t use. The downstairs bedroom/bath were furnished beautifully and worked out well but it had a slight smell of paint; didn’t bother the kids. Double Bay and this beautiful home made for a dream vacation and we highly recommend Wish House!

This place is absolutely stunning. The owner is incredibly friendly, the rooms are spotless and well-equipped, and the beach is right in front of the apartments. There are also beautiful cabanas overlooking the ocean, which made for the perfect spot to relax and watch the sunrise. What we loved most, though, was how peaceful and remote the location is - there are very few tourists in the area. We often walked along the beach for an hour without seeing another person.

From front-porch sitting and strolling around the village of Tarpum Bay for the 90-year-old grandparents to exploring and scuba diving for the parents and grandchildren, this place was perfect.The location, right on the shore but in a shaded place, was idyllic. You can swim right off the shore if you wear reef shoes to get over the coral. For the maintenance issues, Samuel Dorcent, the caretaker and go-to man, was very quick and responsive. On the morning our rental car would not start, he had his friend, the auto mechanic, there in ten minutes with a big battery charger to get us going. Samuel was also just an interesting person to get to know. He was always reachable on his cell phone. The only negative review we could find complained of bugs and the lack of air-conditioning. We found that the fans were more than adequate to keep us comfortable. Picardin and deet work fine against the bugs. This place is not the Disney Resort and that’s what we liked best. We’ll be back next year.

Our stay at Kathy’s concrete house on the island of Eleuthera was incredible. The vast windows offered stunning views of the brilliant blue water, making every moment inside just as breathtaking as being outside. Waking up to the ocean each day felt like a dream. Just a short three-minute walk away is a quiet beach with vibrant snorkeling right off the shore—like your own private paradise. The home is well maintained with a fully stocked kitchen, which made cooking easy and let us enjoy the peaceful surroundings. We explored the island and loved that everything—from the blue hole to Preacher’s Cave—was just a 20-minute drive north. We also took a charter from Genes Bay, where we swam with turtles, visited the famous swimming pigs, and snorkeled in crystal-clear waters. Wallace, the property manager, was excellent—responsive, friendly, and helpful with anything we needed. Kathy’s place was exactly as described. We can’t wait to come back.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and being within walking distance to wonderful restaurants & the beautiful beach!

Lil Mooncliff was a perfect little cottage in a great location of the island. Not walking distance but so close to the beautiful beach of Rainbow Bay (highly recommend). The place was a comfy little studio with a little of everything in it. No TV and no WiFi allowed us to disconnect and relax . Karen was a great host and helped us get a rental car and made sure we had water at the home. Great value for this location and the amenities it had to offer. Would definitely recommend for a couple looking to get away from it all and enjoy the beautiful island of Eleuthera.
