Holiday rentals with lake access in North Savo

We are staying with Martin again. A completely perfect accommodation near the center of Kuopio. In a quiet area in front of the lake. The apartment has everything you need. Great sleeping places, sauna, well-equipped kitchen, yard and great pictures to admire. We will definitely return to Kortteri on our future trips to Kuopio.

My wife and kids loved it. You'll need to stop by in the summer, so you can take a dip from the yard sauna.

The house is beautifully located in the forest by a lake, peaceful and completely private. It’s also modern, clean, and fully equipped. Erik met us by the main road and kindly showed us around. We enjoyed using the sauna and the grill – it was a truly memorable stay! I have used Airbnb in many countries on different continents, but this was one of the best Airbnb stays I have ever had.

Small house with all the normal amenities. Particularly stylish sauna and laundry room. A good double bed and even an adjustable large table for remote working. The host couple was kind enough to greet us and show us around. There was even a tarp for the car. Recommended!

The host came to say hello, the welcome was friendly. I loved the wood sauna!

Nice place to spent a weekend with a family

Such a cozy cabin and a beautiful view on both sides! Saw the northern lights after sauna and it was really the cherry on top. ♥️ the cabin was perfect!

It's a wonderful secluded place with easy access to a supermarket and a hotel complex with outdoor activities. The houseis really warm and has everything you need. A great combination of value and quality, we will be happy to come again 😊

Best area! Next to Valkeisenlampi, as well as the best swimming pool in Finland, grocery store, theater, market, and Kalakukko bakery a short walk away. An apartment in a great, well renovated house. There's also an elevator, but there's only one flight of stairs down. Even though the first floor, it's up that much further down the road, so it didn't hurt at all. Blinds in the windows. Beautiful lighting and everything worked, has been someone decorating who knows what he's doing. The host was really lovely and friendly, went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time.

Nice place and surroundings

The apartment was very clean and pleasantly decorated. We found everything we needed in the apartment, and more. Garage space is a luxury! This was our first experience staying at an Airbnb, and the bar was set very high right away!

Everything went really well. Markku greeted us, handed over the keys and gave us instructions. The apartment was in good condition and larger than in the pictures. The apartment is in a good location and everything is close. I can recommend! :)

Check-in was flexible. We were able to adjust the given time to an earlier time as needed. Markus greeted us and showed us the apartment and everything that came with it. Like using the sauna and washing machine. You could get from the garage directly to the residential floor by elevator, which was a great thing when the heavy rains arrived in Kuopio. We spent most of the time on the balcony admiring the beautiful harbor view. It will probably be nice later in the fall, when the lights are on. Everything was clean and neatly arranged.

The accommodation was great for our group of five and the dog 🫶🏻 Lovely yard, tree sauna and nice and tidy cottage. The host responded quickly to messages and helped with any problems we had. The host also washed and brought us our own rowing boat and offered us a champagne as a refund due to the problem situation at the cottage. The 🩷 cottage could have more tableware, e.g. small forks and serving dishes, as well as a slightly larger refrigerator. There are also many excursion sites and sights near the cottage. Highly recommended!

Our group of seven spent four nights at Miia's cottage on the shores of Linnansaari National Park. We had an excellent time! The main cottage is on the small side for seven, the three kids were going to sleep in a loft space but with the noise challenges of lofts we elected to have them sleep in the sauna cottage, which has a beautiful sleeping space. We took full advantage of the ping pong table, darts, hot tub and sauna(s). We also rowed over to nearby islands several times (tons of mushrooms growing over there!). There were no other people nearby, really, so it felt very private. The back deck is perfect for lounging and eating meals when the weather is good. Miia helped us find a local fishing guide and gave us other helpful recommendations. We popped south to Savonlinna one day to walk the town and have a meal. All in all, we highly recommend a stay at Miia's!

A perfect small mökki for a summer getaway! With a private access to the lake with sand, great sauna, barbecue spot and a beautiful forest with loads of blueberries and wind strawberries around. It's maybe better for someone with a car, because the closest grocery store is 6km away, and to get drinking water you have to boat 2 km, which was not a problem for us, but the boat and bikes at the property were not in the best state, but still usable. The house has everything you need, but is very small -- I feel like even though there are technically 3 sleeping places, 3 adults will use up all the oxygen at night ) but for 2 adults or 2+1 kid it's perfect. We felt very rested afterwards! There's also a very nice hiking trail nearby.

Quiet and secluded. Rey good amenities. Responsive and friendly host. The only negative is that it’s a 40 minute drive on unpaved roads once you leave the highway.

We spent a weekend at Sanna’s place and it served our family of five well. Very calm and peaceful place right by the lake. Cabin is well equipped and functioning.

One of the better experiences for sure. The value for money was excellent — everything was clean, well-equipped, and exactly as described. Would definitely book again
