Holiday rentals with a fireplace in North Sea Canal

We stayed a few nights with our 2 small kids, mainly to visit Amsterdam, and had a wonderful time. The house was great for us, very clean, enough space for everyone, very nice neighbourhood and restaurants and shops were close by bike or walking. We took the car to the nearest train station (Bussum Zuid) with free parking but without kids and less rain, walking would also have been easily possible. Jaap was very friendly and helpful and we felt very welcome. We would happily come again!

Lovely stay in a beautiful location with easy access to Amsterdam using public transport. Very helpful hosts with frequent communication answering any questions and even booking dinner on our behalf. Highly recommended!

We had a very relaxing 5 nights. Kees and Karen were impeccable hosts, laidback and always helpful. We didn't come by car, but it's easy to get into Utrecht either by bus or tram. Would definitely book again.

Hugo's place was incredible. Absolutely stunning place and amazing scenery. Very friendly, gave us free waters and beers. Provided good places to eat and was very friendly. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a small get away, or just any vacation.

I really enjoyed my stay at Lunas place. Zandvoort and Amsterdam are close by and instructions to get there are provided. the place is cozy with really comfortable beds/Sofa. the short distance to the beach is really cool, as well as the look out of the living room window. Shelly (Lunas mother) was very welcoming and always reachable. I would come back any time.

this place is wonderful, outside the city and a nice little oasis! prepare for the wind, but no complaints!

Geweldig mooie en luxe locatie om kerst te vieren! Deze luxe locatie zou helemaal af zijn als de tv's een cast functie hadden zodat je jouw eigen programma's kan streamen of een toegankelijke hdmi aansluiting. Een badmat bij de douches zorgt ervoor dat het minder nat wordt op de badkamervloer. Verder hebben we echt genoten en is deze locatie zeker voor herhaling.

Fabulous place in the heart of Amsterdam! Easy to walk to most places, and the tram was close if you want to venture out further. Our family enjoyed people watching from the big open Dutch windows. Very beautiful location. Hosts were friendly, and quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommend!

Der Aufenthalt bei Marjolein und Michiel war außerordentlich schön und gemütlich. Ruhig gelegen, wunderschönes Ambiente mit privater Teichterrasse und Garten. Ideal für Radtouren zum Weltkulturerbe zu den Mühlen in Kinderdijk, Rotterdam, sowie nach Dordrecht gelegen. Auch der Wasserbus ist sehr zu empfehlen! Da mein Mann 60 wurde, hatte Michiel uns aufmerksamerweise eine schöne Flasche Prosecco vorab in den Kühlschrank gestellt. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und umfangreich. Die Betten sehr bequem. Das Zimmer ließ sich insgesamt zum Schlafen gut abdunkeln. Das Auto konnte sehr sicher auf dem Hof abgestellt. Vielen herzlichen Dank nochmals für den wunderbaren Aufenthalt!! Wir hatten eine wundervolle Woche in der Unterkunft und wurden sehr lieb empfangen. In der Wohnung ist alles was man braucht um sich wohl zu fühlen. Die Lage ist perfekt, alles schnell zu Fuß erreichbar. O'Malley war ein liebevoller und respektvoller Mitbewohner, der den Aufenthalt noch schöner gemacht hat. Charlotte hat schnell auf alle Fragen reagiert. Die Fahrräder sind ein plus für schöne Ausflüge ans Meer. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit.

Nanda’s place is very spacious and comfortable, with lovely large windows and all the facilities you would need. The apartment is on the first floor (no lift!) with the hosts’ living area on the ground floor and bedrooms on the second floor. Easy 5 minute walk to buses, just 3 stops to Central Utrecht. Nanda was very welcoming and easy to communicate with. Recommended!

Tolle Unterkunft mit allem was man braucht! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und uns wurde bei Ankunft alles gut erklärt. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Logement spacieux avec grand jardin, tres bien situé, idéal pour 2 familles avec enfants. Accès à Amsterdam facile par train. Daphne a toujours été très réactive pour nos demandes.

The property is located 20 mins from Schiphol Airport, in a quiet gated community. The house was neat and clean and located beside a water canal. The kitchen and cutlery were well stocked. The furniture was comfortable. Plenty of towels provided. Easy to get to the city and to the other attractions. As stated in the description there is no washer / dryer. Bedrooms are located on the floor above the ground floor, the stairs are a bit steep. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very responsive, friendly and courteous. Upon request we were given a late checkout which was very helpful and very kind of the host. Indeed a superhost! Would love to come back someday!

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt und Anneke bzw. ihre Tochter waren während des Aufenthalts stets bei Fragen ansprechbar. Das Haus ist sehr schön eingerichtet, alles war sauber, gute Ausstattung und der Pool sowie Jacuzzi waren toll. Ich empfehle die Unterkunft sehr gerne weiter.

Het huis ziet er precies zo uit als op de foto’s. De communicatie met Marius was erg fijn. Perfecte locatie om te ontspannen, op het water te kijken en het mooie Enkhuizen te verkennen.

Marjolein was a perfect hostess. Her home was spacious and clean and very comfortably slept my group of 8 for 9 days. She welcomed us to her home with a pot of home-made soup and was kind and hospitable. She went as far as helping us book a cab last minute and had wonderful recommendations for all kinds of things. The home is conveniently located by the train making trips to Amsterdam easy and affordable. My group and I would highly recommend her home to anyone looking to stay in the Netherlands.

Splendid place for a weekend with friends. Big enough for 12 people, with a gorgeous garden and a nordic bath. We really enjoyed our stay! Only point which could be improved: the kitchen is a bit small if you want to cook.

Wahnsinnig tolles Haus mit super lieben Gastgebern. Joke und Peter helfen mit schnellen Antworten immer direkt weiter und geben gute Tipps. Es gibt Tipps für Unternehmungen, auch im Haus direkt zu finden. Das Haus ist ein wahrer Traum und man fühlt sich direkt wie zuhause. Wir lieben den Aufenthalt hier und kommen bisher einmal im Jahr hier her.
