Villa holiday rentals in North Sea Canal

We had a lovely stay at Sabine’s Mahalo House – it’s a beautifully decorated and spacious home with a lot of charm and character. The house offers everything you need for a relaxing family getaway. One of the windows in the bathroom didn’t close entirely, so it got a little chilly at night and in the early morning, especially when it was windy outside. For future guests, it might be helpful to check with the host regarding the window if you're visiting during colder days. Other than that, we truly enjoyed our time there and can warmly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming stay in Zandvoort with plenty of space for a larger group.

Ans and Luke were very helpful and friendly. They want above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and even helped us with some of our trip planning into Amsterdam. There were 5 bikes to use, a clothes line and a washer and dryer in a garage seperated from the house. There was also a small bathroom in the garage that we could use (making 4 toilette in total). The outdoor seating and gardens were fantastic.

The property is located 20 mins from Schiphol Airport, in a quiet gated community. The house was neat and clean and located beside a water canal. The kitchen and cutlery were well stocked. The furniture was comfortable. Plenty of towels provided. Easy to get to the city and to the other attractions. As stated in the description there is no washer / dryer. Bedrooms are located on the floor above the ground floor, the stairs are a bit steep. Nevertheless we enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very responsive, friendly and courteous. Upon request we were given a late checkout which was very helpful and very kind of the host. Indeed a superhost! Would love to come back someday!

We spent a long weekend in the house and absolutely loved it! The house is cosy and the environment is really beautiful, with plenty to do nearby. The hosts are super nice as well :)

This was a real special find! The 3 days we spent in Zeewold were amazing. We had a group of 10 friends, and we had a great time at this unique mansion. Everything was ready for us, the house is fantastic, the surroundings are very unique, the place is comfortable, quiet, with lots of home feelings. We were able to cook inside, ride the boat, play in the garden. We were a bit apprehensible because we were organizing this for a large group, with people coming from many countries, and we had never been to Zeewold before. Yet, the hosts helped out with clear information and sending all the details we needed. Not related to the house itself, but the Asian restaurant nearby is amazing (very recommended) and the city is close by for dinner, online orders and shopping. Two things we heard from people in the group: "when we came back next year..." and "this house is already our house, let's reserve it now!" So, looks like we will be back next year! Thank you!

A beautiful house with all the advantages for a wonderful vacation. It has a great ambiance with plenty of space. The wardrobe is large and bright. The living and dining area is very nicely designed, the kitchen has all the features (dishwasher at standing height, great coffee maker, super stove, Quooker, dishes and glasses - very nice). The guest toilet on the first floor has a great design. The top two floors have very stylish high-quality furnishings with beautiful lighting. The bathroom is fully equipped, also very high quality. The garden is also very nicely designed with several seats with a very pleasant atmosphere, also covered. Everything was perfectly clean and beautiful, as shown in the pictures. The location is ideal for short distances to Alkmaar, Amsterdam and the sea. The lake in Akersloot is around the corner. We can fully recommend the house and will be happy to come back. We had a lovely stay at the place. The house is very large and there are many bedrooms. Each of the rooms is beautifully and individually furnished. There are fly screens in all the windows, which was great. It was quite warm and so we could sleep with the windows open without any problems. In the house and garden there are a lot of toys for children, we liked that especially. In general, the house is very child-friendly. We were a large group of 14 people, so a 2nd refrigerator would have been good. The existing refrigerator is quite large but with so many people it was still very full and became very warm from the outside. All in all, we had a great weekend and can absolutely recommend the house for groups with children.

We stayed at Paul's villa with 16 people, but it was also big enough for that and the amenities were sufficient. We were personally received very friendly, were even able to get into the villa a little more by arrangement. The garden was great for the kids and adults (sauna, hot tub). Clear recommendation also for large groups!

We were a family of 8 adults and one child in this beautiful, very well-kept and spacious house. Since the weather cooperated, you could enjoy the terrace with the large table, the garden and the canoe as well as the SUP. Yolande described everything as we found it. We were all very comfortable. You can quickly get to Harderwijk or the beautiful town of Elburg; but a car is definitely recommended for this area.

We had a nice weekend with the whole family in the villa (8 adults & 5 children) The house is very nicely furnished and offers plenty of space to play and romp. The path to the beach leads through a beautiful forest. The communication between the host and us was flawless. If you had any questions, you would receive a response within a few minutes. We will be happy to come back.

We had an amazing stay at Rick's Airbnb! The home had everything we needed and had plenty of spaces to relax. Rick was very responsive to any communication and had suggestions regarding local restaurants and facilities such as a gym. We highly recommend staying here.

Very nicely furnished house with a spacious garden where the children could play in. Ideal for a family weekend. There are also lots of fun things to do nearby.

Really enjoyed this last minute booking after arranging our tickets to the historic Dutch GrandPrix 2021 Formula 1. The Host Vivian was a great communicator pre, during and post the event. She arranged a pass through ticket to the closed event area within Zandvoort, which was a unique ticket to have closer access to the event by car. The house has a lot of charm, especially the living room and the garden with its relaxing area that was very welcome after a day of 20 thousands steps in Zandvoort.

Our team of 6 people, business travel after one night, 1, the owner of the house proactively communicated to confirm the arrival time, it was planned to arrive at 8:30, the actual arrival was 9:30 -10, with 1 hour notice, the host was very patient; 2, There is a tree house and a swing in the house; 3. Easy parking🅿️; 4. Surrounded by 2.5km sea and beach, there are shells on the beach🐚, which is suitable for walking to see the beach🏖️;

Everything as in the photos and description. Despite the cold season, nice and warm inside. You can relax from everyday life, watch the animals in the field,or relax in the sauna \ bathtub after an extensive walk on the beach and dunes. Value is great as well. We are happy to book the Airbnb again when we are in the area. Thank you Martina also for the nice communication and the detailed details about the apartment.

Beautiful private park where the kids had a lot of fun between canoe rides, tennis, and swimming. 40 minutes by car from Amsterdam but very easy to get to. Well furnished house with lots of useful utensils for cooking and dining even outdoors. Laurence is very friendly and helpful for every need recommended

We stayed in the house for a work in the area. The house has very good conditions. Communication was great. Everything worked well. We recommend.

We had a wonderful, long family weekend at Casa Bonita in June 2025, with 5 adults and 4 children aged 1 to 6 years. House, furnishings and garden were perfect for us. Everything we needed was available. (e.g. 1 high chair with belt for the little one, 2 very good high chairs for the 3-5 year olds) The kitchen equipment fulfills all wishes. The pool in the complex is about 250 m from Casa Bonita, and includes a small, shallow area for small children (separated from the swimmer area by a safe, high railing). What you should know: neither a playground, nor a bakery or other shopping facilities are within walking distance. But after 10 minutes by car you are in the center of Zeewolde, where there is everything you need, including a beach section with playground. We will definitely come back again....

We had a wonderful time (5 nights) with the whole family (7 people + dog) in the vacation home. There was enough space for everyone, the outdoor area in particular was more than perfect for us. It was all completely fenced in, so we could let our dog run free without any problems. There was also enough space for all of us inside.

Dennis is a very nice man, we did not have any problems with check in or check out, the house is beautiful and decorated with everything. You hardly need to bring anything with you. The kitchen the bathroom bedrooms were all nice and wonderful.

We had a fantastic stay from check-in to check-out. The instructions were clear, and whenever we had any questions, the hosts were easy to reach and very helpful. The house was even bigger than we had imagined, which was a wonderful surprise. We had a fantastic weekend—thank you all for making it such an enjoyable experience, and the Jacuzzi and pool perfect temperature.
