A lovely, clean and simple pod in a peaceful garden setting. Watching the squirrels scampering around and playing in the trees was such a treat!

Had a lovely time at Julie’s, right in the centre of town so easy to walk everywhere and accessible from the train station. Beautifully restored and very cosy. Enjoyed a walk to Rutter force through beautiful countryside.

We have just returned home after spending 2 nights at the annex over the Twixmas period. What a fabulous property this is. It was so warm and cosy. We truly appreciated the addition of the Xmas decorations, along with the wonderful welcome hamper provided. We met Sheila on our final day and so pleased to meet in person. Lovely lady and truly a super host. We would highly recommend this property for all your holiday needs. A true home from home in a great location, close to all the amenities in Bedale. So lucky to have found this gem, thank you Pat for being such a wonderful host! Pat's place has beautiful views all round and it was a treat to see all the moorland birds. There was even a snipe one morning on the lawn, cuckoo, woodcock and short-eared owl in the adjacent fields. We enjoyed the remoteness and not having a mobile phone signal was a bonus. Pat was super helpful, the cottage is very generous with gated driveway, well equipped kitchen and comfortable rooms.
