Condo holiday rentals in North Star

Perhaps the most thoughtful Airbnb we’ve stayed in in terms of extra details from cooking implements and spices to first aid kit, extra fans and blankets, shampoo etc. Marion was very friendly and quick to respond, although her instruction booklet covered everything very concisely. Very cozy space, worked particularly well for a family of four visiting a next door ski resort

We loved Kathy’s place. The location was perfect. We were able to walk everywhere in town! It was beautiful! Kathy was very kind!!

Such a cozy home and the most comfortable beds! You’ll feel right at home, a perfect space for a quiet, relaxing vacation by Lake Tahoe! Short walk or drive to restaurants and grocery. Only a 45min drive from Reno as well. Look forward to staying here again!

The home was very clean and was just the right size for 2 people. I loved having coffee and popcorn provided. Even though the balcony view is of the parking lot, the lot is full of beautiful pine trees. You can also see part of the lake from the balcony & the stars are beautifu out there at night. The host was quick to respond. We found it really helpful that cleaning supplies were available. The washers and dryers down the hall worked great and we appreciated having laundry pods available. The pools and spas were great. Everywhere you look is beautiful. It was nice that beach supplies and bikes were available - such a nice touch. The place was nice and quiet while also being close to the stores and restaurants. You can rent scooters to get places right outside the gates. We had such a wonderful trip and stay.

This is our second time staying in Northstar and this time around we really liked the condo we stayed in. The kitchen was newly remodeled and it fully loaded with all the basic essentials to make a meal. The deck off the living was a nice spot to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and bird watch. My family had a great time playing with the mini foosball table and we loved the rec center. So much to do! The rec center staff were very helpful and polite. We look forward to booking again in the near future!!

We really enjoyed our quick overnight stay! The location is 10/10, very accessible and close to Tahoe Donner adventure center. The host, Dani, was extremely communicative and gave us recommendations for snowshoeing. The condo was very clean and comfortable - wish we would have been able to check out slightly later so we could enjoy it more! Would definitely book again :)

Will definitely be a repeat guest! Access instructions were clear, the space was just as described and absolutely perfect for two people. Hand soap, dish soap, sponge and shower liquids provided. The space gets direct morning sun and gets stuffy quickly, but airflow with the open windows remedies that in a jiffy, and a box fan is in the closet! The only hiccup was the tv. No audio cable for the dvd player. There were some tv channels, but the night before checkout, every channel was blanked out and unavailable, so we couldn’t enjoy shows before bed or our breakfast and tv before checkout. A relatively small snafu in such a beautiful place, but will plan for a laptop with downloaded content next time as the internet is too slow to stream (as described in the listing). Private beach and pier across the street were perfect for taking photos of the Milky Way. Thank you, Carol Ann. We can’t wait to stay again!

Great location and very comfortable accommodations. Dalius is a great host - definitely recommend staying here!

Modern rustic, aesthetically pleasing decor, peaceful & serene location, bucolic sunrises, close drive to Stagecoach, cozy tiny kitchen, personal touches in bathroom & kitchen - like: makeup cloths, mouthwash, toothbrushes, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, tea, Keurig pods, chapsticks & hand sanitizer, family friendly games, 2 modern fireplaces & battery operated candles, make for a pure escape into the mountains & trees, close to the clandestine most beautiful lake. I only wish the hot tub was available year round, especially after a glorious day shredding the slopes! Thank you to Michael - for being attentive to details & design, available to queries, & flexible with plans. Our family, including our Samoyed, Nicco, enjoyed our stay & adventures in the beautiful Sierra Nevada mountains! 🏔️ It was really hard to leave & look forward to returning soon!

Ideal location for a family ski trip. Parked in heated garage and didn’t have to get in the car until it was time to leave. Spacious and fully stocked. Would stay again.

We really enjoyed what this condo had to offer to us. It was cozy, convenient, had all of the necessities that we needed for our trip. Nic and Maggie were very responsive and helpful when I had questions.

We had a wonderful stay at Justin's place in S. Lake Tahoe. The condo was clean and spacious. The location made it very convenient to get into The Village or off the beaten path. Justin was communicative, welcoming, and helpful.

Rob’s Place is just as described. We really enjoyed the hot tub.

We had a great stay with our 5 and 8 year old kids and family dog. Fantastic location and great value- exactly as pictured. Cozy, not fussy, right in the heart of the Northstar village. If you need a midday break from skiing or have a napping child, this location is so close that it would be easy to come back for lunch or a rest. Other guests noted the 2 flights of stairs and one elevator as a potential draw back. Wasn't a problem for us on shoulder season. We left our skiiis in the car, you could also check them at the valet if you've got your hands full with kiddos. We used the heated pool and hot tubs at the recc center. Doggy relief was as convenient as it could be in an apartment-like building. Lots of patches of dirt close by with a nice walking trail by the recc center. One note, we had some nice spring weather and the loft got warm in the afternoons. Drawing the shades during the day and opening windows and doors for the evening made it more comfortable for sleeping.

The condo was amazing!! It was only a 15-minute drive from the Lake, so we had easy access to kayaking, hiking, and restaurants with beautiful views (and delicious food #yummo). And it was also a quick drive away from the main part of Truckee, which had a grocery store and more places to eat (burgers AND ice cream). The condo itself was extremely cozy, and kitchen allowed us to cook at the condo if we wanted to save a little money. The host Sarah was very quick to reply when I was having trouble getting into the resort. It was overall a great experience, and I would honestly choose this condo over a hotel any day!

It was lovely, they let us check in about an hour early, an check out an hour later than the regular time. Much appreciated.

Annie's studio has the ideal location in South Lake Tahoe with a lot of activities and scenic routes to Emerald Bay and varies waterfalls. Her place has a comfortable king size bed to rest at night and a little kitchenette to prep foods for hiking or outdoor picnics. In door parking is a plus especially during snow season.

This was the perfect place to stay in Northstar. I could hike from the apartment and walk to the Village. Our son had easy access to the lifts to go mountain biking, but also had easy access to lower trails. The place was beautiful and well decorated. Everything is just like the pictures and the description. There were no condiments, except salt and pepper, but I think that’s why the kitchen was so clean. I was impressed with how clean the utensils in the drawer were, which is not usually the case when we go to other places. Beds were very comfortable. I did not read the instructions very well and did not realize there was no Central AC. I dared to text them at 1am about the thermostat, thinking I’ll hear from them in the morning , and they responded within minutes!!! There are portable AC units that work very well, but I had not turned them on. Thank you so much Eric & Emile!

Ally & Brandon’s place was absolutely wonderful. It was easily accessible, and their local area guide was so helpful planning last minute meals and excursions. The Boho Powder Pad was cozy, and very efficient for our needs. It checked all of our boxes for accommodations, and the surrounding tenants were very pleasant. We would definitely book again! Wonderful hosts!

One of the best places I’ve stayed in Airbnb in the Tahoe area. The place is pretty new and we feel right at home. Everything feels clean and comfortable. The host is great and communicated very well and also was very accommodating. Would recommend

Very good family ski in ski out condo for spring break. Well stocked kitchen and updated appliances. Clean bathroom with plenty of towels etc. Comfy couch and living area. A little bit of a walk (with stairs) from the parking area so if you have senior members of your group keep that in mind. Very easy to get to and from the slope (ski down to gondola in 15 seconds). Village run returns you right to parking area for the condo.

Craig’s place was lovely and conveniently close to King’s Beach Recreation Area. The amenities were very convenient and made the stay more enjoyable, specifically the pool & washer/dryer. Overall I would highly recommend and would definitely stay here again.

We travel often and this space was 10/10! Absolutely beautiful! Comfortable, clean, stocked! Kids loves the board game. Kitchen had every amenity of home! Great communication! Great location!
