Family-friendly holiday rentals in North Stradbroke Island

Had a great time staying here. Everything was as described. Not too far to walk down to the beach and resort area and there is a great view across the bay from the balcony!

I live in the Gold Coast. My children and Grandchildren came over for a holiday from NZ. They loved the bnb. It was spacious and had everything we needed. The swimming pool was a highlight. The premises serviced our needs perfectly. A family of 5. The only let down was the weather so we didn’t use the bbq but we still manage to go on a lot of rides at all the theme parks. Keri we had a fabulous time and thank you for your beautiful bnb and your excellent communications.

Truly a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a rest. This included our dog, who enjoy the outside area and pondering across the water view. Caught up on some book reading, and local events. Will be a place to return to, perfect for a small family, 2 couples on a catchup, or just 2 adults and dog needing a great place to rest and enjoy the surroundings

Extremely well equipped home, great for a family. Excellent location and facilities. Shoutout to Nick for offering the best extras and being an outstanding host! It was a perfect weekend!

Nice and clean place

We had a fantastic stay at 3 Donahue St, Point Lookout. The house was clean, beautifully decorated, and perfectly located just minutes from Home beach. Our host Tricia was responsive and helpful. The outdoor space was lovely and the ping pong table a nice touch. Overall, it was a charming and relaxing getaway, highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay at Coconut Cottage. Everything was just perfect for us. Jenny was excellent in communication with us. Thanks again Jenny!

This was our second time staying. Jason has beautiful home, well looked after, neat, clean and tidy. Feels just like home from the moment you arrive. Very peaceful and definitely a place we would recommend. Jason is a fantastic host, very easy going, great communication and makes your stay a breeze.

Nice clean, roomy place close to where our event was. It worked out really well.

Margeurite has made her B&B a real stand out. She has catered for every need, from any kitchen item down to ball throwers and balls for dogs. Her cottage is very cute, comfy, quiet and tidy. We would certainly recommend this accommodation to other people.

Thank you Carolyn for your hospitality. We had an amazing stay at Gindabara. It was perfectly set up for our extended family to stay together. The kids loved the outside area. We had a great BBQ and lunch celebration for Mum's passing. It was easy to walk everywhere and the beach was so close. Loved the lounge area and big kitchen. Great to have 3 units and cottage to retreat to. The team was very helpful and went out of their way to accommodate us all. And the contact for catering. It was a lovely experience. Thanks again. this place is worth it for yvonne alone!! she is the most flexible, helpful, and kind airbnb host i’ve ever had. yvonne let me check in at 6:30 am on my check-in date after a nearly 24 hour long journey to get to brisbane instead of the usual 2 pm time, she did a load of laundry for me toward the end of my stay, and drove me to the train station to get to my next accommodation. the airbnb itself is comfortable (has the coziest bed), well-located (great fish n chips nearby, 10 minute walk to the train station), and clean. if it wasn’t on the other side of the world, i would be back in a heartbeat. thanks yvonne for the most relaxing and comfortable stay!💗

Mandy's house was immaculate and well presented and very user friendly. Mandy was very responsive to questions as well as being very helpful. The stay was a pleasure.

Heidi's accommodation is a gorgeous freestanding unit, across the driveway from the main house. Very stylish interior, with a fresh, nautical feel. Spotlessly clean, the standout for us was the thoughtful addition of so many complimentary accessories provided. The property is safely secured behind an electric gate entry on their property. Easy to find and you will have a set of keys and remote for the duration of your stay. Thank you for a great experience, Heidi!

Such a great location. Easy walk to beech & shops . Once you step in to Chris and Garth’s property, you feel like you are already on holiday . Everything is well thought of (down to my own box organiser for my toiletries !) Facility wise everything you need is here; washing machine, dishwasher, BBQ etc & lovely little pool. Would love to return some day Juliet & James
