The Stables is a beautiful place to stay, perfect for long stays also. It is situated in a lovely area. The house is wonderful, the living room is cozy, with a wood burner and the kitchen is well-equipped and spacious. Everything I needed was at the house, and any queries I had were quickly and helpfully responded to. Would definitely recommend!

The house was newly decorated and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and although there wasn't a dining table, we were able to easily move the one from the patio into the kitchen, so that is what we used. The bed was comfortable and there were extra towels and linen. The shower was powerful and a good temperature. Paul was easy to communicate with. The house was easy to check in with a key box which was great for flexibility. The location is handy for walking into the village and parking in front of the garage was fine.

Had a wonderful couple of nights at Lucinda’s cottage. It was a perfect base to explore Dartmoor and we had such a lovely weekend…we had everything we needed for our stay and Lucinda was a great host, thank you for the lovely selection of treats on arrival, we will definitely stay again.
