Bowen Retreat is Lake Gaston main lake waterfront and has beautiful views of the lake, large private sandy beach and a wonderful boat house. Plenty of room to dock boats, boat lift and padded all the way. Some toys included: tubes, ski ropes, life jackets, paddle board and canoe. Buoys are around to tie the jetski's to as well. The house itself is amazing. It’s all in the details. Spacious, plenty of space, updated appliances. All this is a must for your Lake Gaston Family vacation!

Wow, such an organized renter! We knew how everything worked and where everything belonged. We had a great Mother’s Day weekend here enjoying the dock, activities and tranquility. We were close to town for dinner and a coffee on the way out of town. We would stay again.

Saltwater Pool 8 Bedrms Sunset Views + Spa

We had a large group of 11 adults and 4 kids, and this house had plenty of room for us, and lots to keep us entertained. Three of the bedrooms in the main house were very large with nice, attached bathrooms. Between all of the activities in the detached garage, cornhole boards and the pool, the kids (and adults, really) were always occupied. We rented the pontoon as well and loved it! Beautiful sunset views from the dock. We were happy to have the heated pool.. with it getting so chilly at night, the pool water would have been way too cold to enjoy without the heater. We had no issues with the hot tub, got a lot of use out of that as well! Neighbors were pleasant, but they did have a very loud tractor out doing yardwork before 7am on a Saturday that woke the whole house up. Their dog also kept coming over to the pool gates, barking, wanting to come in. Which didn't bother us personally, but something worth mentioning. Sean was friendly and responsive to questions, we would come back!

This home was a perfect vacation getaway! The house itself was roomy, clean and comfortable. The peaceful lakefront setting was spectacular. The home was supplied with everything that you could possibly need. The host was very responsive and caring. One of the best vacations ever. Would highly recommend.
