Absolutely wonderful stay! Patricia and Alastair were the loveliest and most thoughtful hosts—so communicative, warm, and helpful throughout our visit. From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for. There were so many personal touches around the house that made our stay extra memorable. The house itself is gorgeous—beautifully decorated, with super comfortable beds and plenty of inviting spaces to relax in. We were in town for a wedding locally at Hadsham Farms, and following advice from Patricia, arranging transport with the local taxi firm was a breeze. Very good spot to stay if you are at a wedding over that way. I've stayed in many Airbnbs around the world, but this place is my absolute favourite—thanks to Patricia and Alastair, who are truly exceptional hosts. I’m already planning to coming back for a weekend getaway later this summer/early autumn! Thank you both so much for such a wonderful experience—we truly appreciated every moment.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Stay – Above and Beyond! We had an absolutely exceptional stay at Keith’s property. From the very beginning, the communication was thoughtful, timely, and clear. As visitors from the United States, we felt genuinely welcomed and cared for, thanks to Keith’s outstanding attention to detail and commitment to providing a great experience. The property itself is stunning. The view is simply breathtaking — the kind that makes you dream of relocating just to wake up to it every day. Evenings spent looking out over the landscape were peaceful and unforgettable. Inside, the home is perfectly set up. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you could need, and the bathrooms are immaculate — luxurious towels, elegant finishes, and a layout that’s both stylish and functional. Debbie’s place is homely and comfortable. Everything is in the cottage to make for a pleasant stay. We were able to park right outside and there is a just a short walk to town centre. Great value as well. Rohan.

Really lovely place with great kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms. It was easy to find and parking was available right outside the property. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor and one bedroom through the spiral stairs. The kitchen and lounge are up a flight of stairs as well so keep this in mind if you have mobility issues! A lovely place - recommend!!

Cherry tree cottage is in a great location and is well equipped with a completely private and secure garden. Everything was clean and tastefully done. Our host kept a low profile - perfect for a secluded couple of days away, but was quick to respond when we reached out. Seat on is a lovely village with good walks and great accessibility for the rest of Rutland.

We loved the cottage and location to the town. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Only drawback was the access. Was a choice of parking in an alley which already had a car parked in it on our arrival.....and the road had double yellow lines so that was out. So we parked round the back of the propety but had to go up about 20 steps to get our luggage up. This was hard for us as I'm an astmatic and we are both elderly. Other than that it was perfect.

We had a wonderful stay at Clare’s place. The setting was beautiful, the house was exactly as described, and we all felt very at home there. Clare provided lots of local information which was really useful so that we could make the most of our stay. The village was tranquil and exactly what we were looking for - a local pub within walking distance and some great walks from the house. Clare’s place was clean, homely, and made for an excellent stay which three generations of our family could all enjoy and make memories there. I can certainly see us returning!

The lovely home was ideal place to gather for a family wedding. There were 13 of us, including 4 babes and it worked very well. Masses of space inside the house and to be able to sit outside Thoroughly recommend it as a dreamy place to stage, perfect for all generations.

I had an amazing stay at this place! The space was incredibly clean and well-maintained, making me feel right at home from the moment I walked in. The house was also very spacious, providing plenty of room to relax and unwind. The pictures just don’t do it justice. Swimming pool and Sauna was a nice touch for sure and definitely made use of it. John was responsive and helpful, making the entire experience seamless. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay

From 1st contact, Patricia was quick to reply & friendly. Her lodge was spotless and equipped with everything u cld want. Welcome pack of bread / milk etc such a lovely thought. Flowers and plants around the lodge are absolutely beautiful! The park itself is so peaceful. Would definately recommend

We had a great stay visiting family near overstone. The lodge is perfect, it has everything we needed. They kindly gave us milk and breakfast which was really lovely. The location was quiet and the neighbours were really friendly. Would highly recommend a stay here, we will again for sure.

The Dovecote is a beautiful, tiny stone built restored outbuilding. Inside, it has been efficiently fitted out in a way that was perfect for our requirements. Its location is even better than we were expecting, being in peaceful natural surroundings with two other larger stonebuilt properties nearby. It's literally right next to the canal, which was busy with canal boats. It's approached along a narrow lane between a row of cottages on one side, and the canal on the other. This gave us an immediate WOW! factor, which continued to include the property itself. We walked from the property right into into Oxford city centre along the canal path - a 13km walk which took us two and a half hours. We also did a shorter walk along the canal in the opposite direction. There are two pubs close by which provided good food (but note - they stop serving food at about 8pm), and a lovely tea room. We stayed three nights and wished we'd had longer. We loved it.

Beautiful peaceful spot in the Cotswold countryside. The cottage is spacious and well equipped with great walks straight from the door. The pool was such a fantastic asset and really added to our holiday.

I only wish we could have stayed longer! Juliet is an incredible host; super friendly and extremely attentive. The property is amazing and to have had the use of the pool and the tennis court, made it the most fantastic value. One of my favourite parts of our two night stay, was that we could leave the property and walk for 20-25 minutes, across fields, to one of two brilliant pubs for supper and then stroll back at dusk - truly idilic! All in all, for me and my two teenage sons, it literally could not have been a more perfect little break from the city. Thank you Juliet and we look forward to visiting The Squadron HQ again very soon X

We had a lovely break here whilst visiting family nearby, Stuart was very helpful and accommodating. Everything we needed was provided, absolutely gorgeous area and all round welcoming atmosphere. Stuart even kindly installed WiFi for us- as signal is hit and miss in the area. Very clean Caravan as well and well equipped. This was my second time staying here. It's a lovely little apartment, feels really homely. Perfectly clean and has everything you could need. The apartment is very easy to find and check-in to. Adam is a great host, very friendly and fast to respond to messages, he goes above and beyond to make your stay perfect. I will definitely be staying again!

Had a lovely stay at The Arches. Andy and Jo sent me checking in instructions and even came out to meet us on arrival. They were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Accommodation was exactly as described with all the character we were expecting. There was a lovely woods/field at the back of the building were I could take my dogs for a walk which they/I really enjoyed. A very quaint village that is so peaceful with beautiful houses and very friendly neighbours. I would definitely recommend The Arches for anyone who is looking for a peaceful break which is also within easy reach of pubs, restaurants, shopping and walks.

We have just returned home after a week at the barn. We have been extremely impressed with everything and the little extras have made it stand out above several airbnb places we have stayed in over the years. It was very clean and spacious with everything we needed to make a great holiday. Janice and David are very friendly and we’re happy to chat and give us the space to enjoy our holiday at the same time. The surroundings were also perfect for a real relaxing break. All in all I would say that our time there has been perfect and we hope to come again in the future. Thanks again Sarah x

I've stayed in a few places but I must say this was the nicest place we have stayed, left us a pile of goodies and provisions so not having to go to shops, the place is spotless and very well laid out even the small bedroom was big enough for one of us, 2 showers in the property meant not waiting on the 3 of us to use one, livingroom was comfy as anything and sky tv was great, our host Sarah replied to any texts we sent almost immediately and left us a gift of greyhound keyrings as she knew we were down for greyhound derby at towcester, the outdoor space is lovely and very private and it was needed as it was in the high 20s whilst we were there, as soon as I get dates for next years derby we will be booking again, thank you Sarah for allowing us to book I hope this feedback gets you loads of bookings as you deserve it with the way your property is presented xx Robert Hawthorn

Loved our stay here the last few days, it was very clean and loved having the animals close to watch throughout the day, the hot tub was lovely at night with the lights inside and outdoor lighting. very peaceful and relaxing. would’ve definitely loved to check in earlier and checkout later. would 100% stay here again already looking at upcoming dates. Am obsessed with cows so was so excited to see them in the fields near by they’re so friendly.
