Barn accommodation in Northeastern United States

Very nice place, beautiful big deck, awesome creativity to the lighting around the property. A walking path, fire pit, hot tub, big deck to relax on, and a fully equipped stage. It is a step above camping but not quite glamping. A lot of fun, and Apple is a sweet bonus hostess.

My fiancé and I stayed at Lambs hill to celebrate our anniversary. We had the most wonderful time. The views are breathtaking. The wrap around deck with jacuzzi and hammock made our stay calming and serene. I loved seeing the horses and donkeys throughout the day. They made the experience even more special and unique. Charlotte was super responsive and accommodating. We took cabs to Main Street at night for dinner and drinks and it was so close and convenient. I left my heart in lambs hill and can’t wait to return one day.

The accommodation is very warm and lively: plants, inspired decoration, non-standardized furniture,... It's really very pleasant and nothing missing. Martine is a very welcoming and responsive host. And the very large property (woods, lake) offers a very nice environment for walks or just to disconnect from urban life. We really want to go back in the summer or fall!

Cozy home, on a beautiful property. The natural pool is really special, and we loved staying here. Hope to be back.

Thank you Kaedra for creating such a lovely place to stay to get away. My husband and I stayed here after getting married at Fruitlands and Kaedra went above and beyond by decorating the room with fresh flowers and putting out some thoughtful poetry for us to read. She was incredibly kind and welcoming. The loft is full of charm and it felt like a home away from home.

This was my partner and I’s second stay at Rob & Janice’s cottage. It is a lovely and peaceful stay. They are wonderful hosts and the cottage is very cozy. Would definitely recommend anyone looking to go into Ptown to stay here!

Jessica's restored barn is amazing and one of the best Airbnb experiences we've ever had! The photos don't do it justice! The barn is unique and has the most incredible views! The sunset experience is A++, and the deck is the most serene place to have your morning coffee. The most impressive part is how clean the space is- I'm not sure how she does it! The kitchen is stocked with everything you need from a popcorn maker to a vitamix. There are spaces to sit, relax and nap in every corner of the house. It is immaculate, thoughtful, peaceful and comfortable. Bonus- if you love music, there is an insanely good CD & record collection. Jessica was so responsive to any of our outreach and we will 100% be back. *10/10 would recommend, this place is a total find!!

The barn was exactly what I needed for a few days away to reset. It is a beautiful home with all the amenities you could need. Julie is very intentional with the guest experience; the little touches made the stay even more wonderful. The location is perfect for access to everything Great Barrington offers, but you’re a little tucked away on a quiet, peaceful road. I loved the Old Red Barn and would recommend it to anyone passing through the area.

The dairy barn was even better than we imagined!! Emily and her family were such amazing hosts. They provided us with farm fresh eggs from the chickens right outside the barn and ensured we had everything we needed and more. The views of the sunsets and mountains were breathtaking. We are already planning our next visit!

We enjoyed everything about our stay at Frank and Marina‘s place. It was very cozy, peaceful, and absolutely beautiful. Frank was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of history about the property, which was really interesting and also always asking us if we needed anything. We will be back!

My husband and I stayed at Hannah's fieldstone suite for his birthday. It is super easy to find and even though it feels like you're in the country, its 10 minutes from everything you need. The pictures do not do it justice. It is absolutely beautiful! Rustic warm farm feel with modern touches. My husband is a contractor so he noticed how well the renovation was executed and had some high end finishes. Great open space and the high ceiling made ìt feel alot bigger. Hannah was super quick to respond and happy to answer any questions we had. I do not have one bad thing to say about our stay. I highly recommend staying here, you will not regret it.

Our stay was amazing from start to finish. The barn itself was beautifully done—cozy, stylish, and spotless. You can tell a lot of care went into making it a special place to stay. The surroundings were just as stunning—peaceful, scenic, and full of character. It was the kind of spot that makes you instantly feel relaxed. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful whenever we needed anything. We truly fell in love with the place and the area, and we’ll definitely be back!

A clean and minimalist place with a great view! I’d highly recommend for anyone looking to explore the Hudson valley. The location is within driving distance from several awesome towns and outdoor activities.

My friend and I came here over the weekend and it was the perfect escape from our city lives. the place was clean, easy to find, peaceful, safe, and everything else you could want from an airbnb. Barb was an amazing host who gave clear instructions and was super friendly and nice - she gave us a lovely tour of the farm and introduced us to her goats! We have 0 complaints. My stay is hard to review. Was looking so forward to this weekend getaway but was battle tested with sickness and terrible weather. Nothing bad to say about the listing just bad timing making it hard to fully enjoy. I would highly recommend this stay otherwise as it was definitely capable of providing what I had wanted. The carriage house had all the historic charm one could ask for with modern comforts and conveniences. The kitchen was fully stocked, bathroom spacious and super clean, and the bed cozy and comfortable. We loved watching the daily farm activities, meeting the cows, and savoring the local goods from the farm store. I wish we had brought less food with us—the farm store was stocked with salad greens, dairy products to your heart’s desire (eat the moon cheese!), preserves, and incredibly delicious sausages. All local, all worth sampling. My husband and I were both able to work remotely with the fast wifi. So glad we stayed here and hoping for a return visit sometime soon!

The Cupcake Cottage is perfection - equally on a rainy day cozying up inside or on a beautiful clear day sitting outside enjoying the breathtaking views. This quaint cottage has all that’s needed for a relaxing stay. Peter is a communicative and proactive host, making sure we had all the info we needed and providing great local recommendations. This is a great location to enjoy peace and quiet, but also to enjoy a number of great coffee shop, restaurants, farmers’ markets, hikes, etc in the surrounding area.

This was my third time staying on Rosalind's property, but my first time in the "retreat" unit. The space is better in person than in the photos! It's a spacious two level unit with a huge bedroom/loft type area, perfect for setting up your yoga mat! The high ceilings and large forest facing windows in the bedroom were a highlight for me. Rosalind has always been a very responsive, thoughtful, and flexible host. I can't wait to stay again!

The Loft was perfect for our family. It was in a beautiful, quiet location and close to Woodstock and other towns. Everything was exactly as described and seen in the pictures. Actually, the pictures don't do the property justice. There was not another house in sight and waking up to a view of the surrounding mountains was therapeutic. Our overall experience in Woodstock and the other surrounding towns was so amazing, we are already talking about another trip. What made it even better was starting our mornings with coffee and the fresh mountain air, then returning to a clean, comfortable space that had everything we needed. We can't thank David and Susan enough for being wonderful, gracious hosts.

We had an absolutely magical stay! The setting is straight out of a storybook—peaceful, scenic, and surrounded by nature. Our toddler had the time of her life playing with the friendly farm animals, and it was such a joy watching her light up with every interaction. My wife is still completely mesmerized by the beautiful interior design—thoughtful, cozy, and inspiring in every detail. She’s already planning our next trip back! The hospitality was top-notch and the entire experience felt effortless and welcoming. Even though we missed the sunrise due to overcast skies, waking up early to the calm and quiet was still so worth it. This place is a gem—perfect for families or anyone looking to unwind in a uniquely special setting. Highly, highly recommend!

Joan was a wonderful host! Very helpful with things to do in the area and a wealth of information about the property! The Mill is very eclectic and has such awesome decor! We loved all the care and love that has been put into this home. It has a great hot tub ,water wheel, lights and a very soothing creek below the Mill. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!

We had a great stay! Easy check in, clear instructions, the location was perfect to get to our favorite spots like Diana’s baths, muddy moose, echo lake, etc. The space was super comfy and clean, the private stream in the back was also super cute! Would stay again :)
