Treehouse holiday rentals in Northeastern United States

Our stay with at Christie and Richie’s treehouse was amazing! Not only were they exceptional hosts, but the accommodations were perfect. The treehouse is super cozy, the hiking trails are beautiful, and it’s all around peaceful place. We brought our dog and he had a great time as well! Their dog Bo was a great playmate for our dog. I highly recommend staying with Christie and Richie!

We fell asleep to the sound of the creek on the property and enjoyed sitting by the camp fire several nights. Dark skies made for great stargazing. While we spent most of our time away from the house during the day hiking and looking at beautiful overlooks, we slept well in comfortable beds and watched a few of the DVDs that were available in the evening. I’d definitely stay here again.

The cottage on the lake is idyllic. Beautiful view, ideal location on the elevated lake. The path to get there in winter is a little sporty but it's good, travel light! The cottage is well-equipped, but bring your pillows for extra comfort. The mattresses are a little hard but camping so you can expect it. Super well equipped for cooking and above all very comfortable. We recommend it!

This stay was everything we wanted- relaxing, calm and a beautiful property. We did hikes near by and activities in the town. We really enjoyed exploring! I would love to come back!

Staying at the treehouse was such a unique experience! The treehouse actually has trees growing amongst the various decks and porches! There are so many windows with great views of the forest. I loved how cozy and clean it felt and we enjoyed all of the amenities (sauna, rain shower, hot tub bathtub). My kids enjoyed sleeping up in the loft. There are a lot of outdoor and screened in spaces that allowed us to spread out and relax. The gas fireplace is two sided and even heats one of the porches! I could see this being a nice place to stay in all seasons. Although the treehouse is not far (8 mins) from two substantial grocery stores, the site feels very private and peaceful. And MDI is so accessible as well. Thank you for sharing this memorable experience with us!

This place is truly breathtaking. The setting is splendid, we felt timeless, it's relaxing. We exchanged a few words with the reception person who was very warm and generous. The accommodations are just as sublime as each other. Access to the forest is a very nice little plus because the beach is splendid. Best of all, the accommodation is environmentally friendly. I recommend it.

The cabin was just as described and was just what we needed for a getaway; quiet, private , and peaceful.

I sort of selfishly don't want to write this because I feel I found a secret gem in this place but they deserve your business so: FABULOUS in every way! Sheila and her crew are pro-level. I felt totally comfortable from the moment I booked until the moment I left. It is a magical space and they are lovely, lovely people. They were available, helpful and friendly but also gave us our space. It was a COLD, rainy May weekend but so unbelievable cozy and we still effortlessly had the best time. I am having trouble imagining a season that would not be perfect here. Would go back, 100%.

Superb treehouse, perfect for our family of 2 adults and 2 children (9 & 6 years old). Peaceful surroundings, perfect for relaxation and family time! The treehouse is squeaky clean and has almost everything we needed. Jennifer is very responsive to our questions, clear check in instructions. Overall an enjoyable and unforgettable experience for us!

An amazing treehouse, just right for two people and more room than I expected. Beautiful surroundings, and not far from Keene and Lake Placid. It was great to simply watch the trees from the windows or sitting on the balcony, made the journey up the steps well worth it! Comfy bed, good facilities. We had a lovely meal at Forty Six in Keene, would recommend it if you get the chance.

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful cabin! The moment we arrived, we were blown away by how peaceful and picturesque the area was. The cabin itself is cozy, charming, and surrounded by nature, it truly feels like a private retreat. It’s the perfect place to disconnect, unwind, and just take in the quiet beauty around you. We loved how secluded it felt, and the cabin was equipped with everything we needed. Highly recommend for anyone looking to recharge in a beautiful, private setting. We can’t wait to come back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Bird’s Eye View for a long weekend. Honestly, I wish we could’ve stayed here longer. It’s peaceful, secluded, and beautiful. Mike was quick to respond and always offering his help if we needed anything. We would absolutely stay here again.

The treehouse is beautiful! Decorated very well, very homey and comfortable too. Nice hot tub and bedding was very nice.

This treehouse was perfect for a little escape in the mountains. The property is beautiful and the house itself was very clean and surprisingly spacious!

My wife and I stayed here for our mini-moon. It was a super romantic and peaceful getaway. Would make a great space for four to stay as well, plenty of space while still being cozy. Highly recommend!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! Everything was perfect! Super clean, comfortable, and beautifully arranged. You can really feel the love and care the hosts put into the space. As it was newly renovated, the Aux Box delivered more than expected. Check-in was easy, and despite the rainy weather we had a relaxing time cozying up by the fire and enjoying the ambiance. The new additions like the sink and shower made the *glamping* experience even more convenient. Garth and Rebecca made sure to put thought into every detail really making our weekend getaway feel like a 5 star experience. Thanks again to Garth for answering a 3am phone call and helping when the smoke detector went off unexpectedly. Would definitely visit again!

What a relaxing escape from work to just enjoy nature and peace and to chill by the fire. Being high up from everybody else in the South treehouse was amazing. I loved the property. I will definitely go again. The only thing I would recommend is to change the bed in the loft area and give a complementary satchel of logs for the fire Pit. I’m a property manager, and I really loved the property wish I could’ve stayed longer it was so peaceful and serene.

We were looking for a unique place to celebrate our Anniversary. The tree house at Lambert Vineyards fit our needs and was within driving distance. This house is unique due to the loft bedroom, which has a spectacular and comfortable view. The weather did not cooperate, as it has always rained on our anniversary. We went down to the vineyard and talked with Shirley, who was very helpful with the wine selection and the story of the winery. The pavilion, attached to the winery, has a beautiful stone fireplace and rocking chairs to sit and relax on a dreary day. JB, the owner, greeted us, and we spoke at length about the area, the family business, and the restaurants available. We went to Thyme Bistro in Weston, WV, for dinner the first night, and the food and atmosphere were incredible. A great find. For our anniversary dinner, we chose to drive 1/2 hour away to Clarksburg, WV, to The Wonder Bar Steakhouse. This is a hidden gem and should be experienced by all. First rate...

We stayed at the Treehouse because we wanted a peaceful little get away and it was perfect! The place was clean, quiet and just like the photos. Eddie was great with getting right back to me with any questions we had and making sure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend staying in the Treehouse. Such a cool experience! We will definitely be back.

My fiance and I had such a wonderful stay! The view was so stunning and there was so much to do. I’ve honestly never slept better in my life— the rain pitter-pattered against the open windows at night and it was so peaceful. Susan is so kind and answered any question I had. I hope to visit again some time soon!!

This property was absolutely perfect. It was a perfect getaway for me and my husband’s anniversary trip. It was so peaceful and relaxing. The dock was perfect to be able to sit and fish and just dangle your toes in the water. About 1 mile away, you are able to float right down the Shenandoah river directly back to your dock. So much wildlife! You feel so secluded in natural but yet everything is within 30 minutes. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing beautiful getaway.

From booking through check out, everything was perfectly described, clear, and easy. We had a wonderful rainy night in the loft of the treehouse. We did all we planned and more. Great space in a beautiful region of Pennsylvania. Recommend!
