I had an incredible time staying at Svetlana’s cabin! The location was perfect and a short drive to Santa Claus Village and the perfect getaway place to Lapland. The space itself was exactly as described - clean, spacious, and comfortable. Svetlana was very tentative and checkin on us to ensure we got everything we need. She even notify us the Aurora outside our cabin!

Beautiful scenery on the lake. Nice summer cottage with a good location. Fishing and visiting Ärjänsaari was possible with our own boat, which we were able to launch from the boat launch site near the cottage's pier. Dishwasher and indoor toilet + shower definitely a plus.

This was a great place to stay for groups! Good amount of living space to hang out and spend time. The Sauna was lovely to use each night, especially as we came in winter when it was still snowing and cold! It’s a bit of a walk into town, so as long as you’re ok with that or have a car or use taxis. But the walk is easy and you get to see some of the scenery. Would absolutely recommend as a place to stay and Daria was lovely!

An absolutely brilliant stay in beautiful Finnish countryside - about an hour from Oulanka and Hosea National Parks, each easily worth a day, the Ruka ski/bike resort, Ruuta’s Winter War museum, and much more. Our family was delighted to stay here - the house offers boating and paddle boarding and multiple saunas. We spent five nights and would have happily spent ten - we definitely hope to return!!

This was my second time staying at Sonja’s place. After my first visit in January I couldn’t wait to come back. Since this trip was in May I had the pleasure of experiencing this beautiful spot in two very different seasons. It is a beautiful magical place and I will be back again! Sonja is so kind and helpful.

Had a great stay at Matti's place! The place has a lot of comfort and all the utensils to eat yourself perfectly. Lots of peace and yet everything necessary in the area. Our trip was crowned with a view of the frozen lake on the northern lights. Really recommended!

Very nice and atmospheric place to stay on the way to Lapland!

A wonderful destination with great views of the beautiful waterfront of Kalajoki. The property is clean and the decor is thoughtful. In particular, the beds were very comfortable. It was easy to communicate with Jon and he always responded quickly.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house was beautiful! We got to see the northern lights from the Jacuzzi on the porch! We will definitely stay here again!

Excellent, really happy to recommend to the following! It was a pleasure to come to a really tidy cottage (often there's a bit of it and I saw the cleanliness). Spacious living areas and an open kitchen and bedrooms separate, perfect for getting together and a little privacy for everyone. In addition, the couch nooks in the basement and the top made a little more space for teens. The house was super functional and stylish, with everything we needed, even board games and books. Antti responded to all messages very quickly, and all questions were helped. We'd love to go again.

Great place to stay in Rovaniemi. 10 mins ride from Santa Claus village and Arktikum, both must visit places in Rovaniemi. The house is very well equipped and has a nice sauna too. The kitchen is well stocked and overall it is value for money place to stay.

Aapo's place is great, very cosy, at a walkable distance to supermarkets. he's also kept snow sleds in his backyard which the kids enjoyed using immensely. the property also has 6 bicycles that can be used freely. the house is squeaky clean with comfortable beds and smoke space to accommodate upto 8 guests, though there is one shower only. but the best thing about the accommodation is Aapo himself... he's the best Airbnb host we have ever encountered... he took us around lapland to remote, very beautiful terrains in his cozy campervan and also organised a lovely barbequeue right in the middle of a snowy trek which made the experience very memorable. as we were checking in late in the evening, he even organised some groceries for us which we requested so our next morning was comfortable. all in all, a great house but an even greater host.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this stunning new log villa on the shores of Lake Rukajärvi, and it was an experience beyond compare. We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house was cozy and full of thoughtful little details that made it feel like a true home away from home. Aapo has clearly put a lot of care into creating a warm and welcoming space. The beds were very comfortable, the sauna was amazing, and the ice hole in the garden was such a funny detail. The home was spotless and fresh, and the neighborhood is charming and peacefully located close to the river. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily come back!

This was a super place to stay with my 3 kids (11/9/13). The place was super clean and relaxing. Satu was always available for questions and really responsive. The view is amazing and we saw the northern lights when we went for a walk on the (very quiet) road. Would defiantly return!
