Holiday rentals with a hot tub in Northern Norway

Exceptional. A home from home feeling. Absolutely the place to recharge yourself. Put the fire on, get your book out, and enjoy the wonderful view of the sea and mountains. Go to bed, open the window, feel the fresh cold sea breeze flow through the room and fall asleep with the waves hitting the rocks. No need counting sheep, your gone ZZzzz. Communication was excellent, instructions clear and super warm upon arrival. Everything you could ask for in the home. We have stayed in many places, and many have left you wishing you had packed something! NOT HERE. The small details that make you feel you have chosen the right home are important. I had my reservations over jacuzzi, but this one was perfect. Super-hot with great sea view of the mountains. Getting here was relaxed, the views are spectacular, and the roads are cleared. The house is simply fantastic and perfect. The location is beautifully situated on the (frozen) lake with great views. In winter you are right on the cross-country ski trail for a round of cross-country skiing or for a nice walk. In the evening you can look at the northern lights virtually from the sofa or you walk a few meters to the frozen lake. The house is very well furnished and exceptionally well equipped. We felt right at home and the house had everything we needed. The jacuzzi and sauna made the house perfect for us. We were 9th and the house is also highly recommended for a large group.

We were very much looking forward to our stay in Norway and the host was always available. We chose to stay in peace and nature with sauna and hot tub. For the use of this, we had to pay extra which is not very clearly stated. For this price, maybe a little more wood provided because you will certainly not be able to use this and since the price is already pricey anyway, if this is unlimited, we find it. The house was clean, spacious and beautiful view. However, a dangerous staircase, especially the hole down when you are upstairs. Children who are playing do not always have this in mind, maybe a fence provided for safety! The fireplace is definitely a plus because we love this coziness. We were able to admire the northern lights 5 of the 6 nights from the terrace. The kitchen equipment may be a little more extensive. We missed a mixer to mix our soup and a colander to shake off the spaghetti.

We had a wonderful stay here. One of the most beautiful and peaceful places we've ever been. The sauna and hot tub were perfect to get out of the cold, the bed was very comfortable, and the kitchen/ living area was well done and had everything we needed. We were also lucky enough to see the northern lights just walking outside. We couldn't have asked for more and will certainly be back!

the house is great! very well equipped, comfortable, decorated and very clean. The sauna and hot tub were a real plus after our great hikes. The location is very good for visiting the Lofotens and doing beautiful hikes. Heinrick is very friendly and friendly. I recommend more.

We stayed 3 nights in this great house. We would come back. Everything was just wonderful. You can never get enough of the view. Thank you so much for letting us be here at home. Quaint, quiet and beautiful!

Timo's house is located directly on the lake 20 meters from the Ylläs Swing. Cross-country skiing trail starts right in front of the house. Äkäslompolo is a cross-country skiing paradise, for beginners and also ambitious cross-country skiers, excellent preparation of the trails - a paradise! Timo's house offers everything: Location, facilities, sauna, shower, 2 toilets, covered parking, even the wood for the fireplace with a large window is ready, it leaves nothing to be desired. Just great! That's where we'll go again!

Terrific base in Tromso. It's in a quiet neighborhood, which I personally prefer much more than living in the city center. The house is quite large and very well furnished, and feels very homey and warm. Loved the open plan kitchen and living room where we could prepare meals, relax, and keep an eye out from the balcony windows for signs of an aurora borealis. Hope to have a chance to come back in the future :)

Our stay at Arcticmint was an incredible experience, the peaceful and picturesque location on a lakeshore was mesmerising. The villa was beautifully appointed and spacious with all the comforts one could need but the star of the stay was our host Jaana, who was so caring, funny and dedicated to making our stay perfect, part of the reason we booked and we were so right in that decision. With experiences such as a delicious Finnish dinner cooked in front of us (whilst we we popping out to look at The Northern Lights) to forest skiing with her brother-in-law Kyle who runs ArcticFox adventures and had such an amazing aspect and passion for nature and the environment, to accompanying us on our snowmobile tour, Jaana was there making it exceptional. Every box was ticked on this Finnish adventure we could not have wished for more.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The house was cozy and full of thoughtful little details that made it feel like a true home away from home. Aapo has clearly put a lot of care into creating a warm and welcoming space. The beds were very comfortable, the sauna was amazing, and the ice hole in the garden was such a funny detail. The home was spotless and fresh, and the neighborhood is charming and peacefully located close to the river. We really enjoyed our time here and would happily come back!

Great responsive hosts. We enjoyed the comfort of their home including the entertainment room (huge TV), hot tub (prepared ahead of our arrival), and the panoramic view.

It is located in beautiful environment. I loved the fact that we could enjoy the sea view from sauna. The cottage is beautiful and functional. Personally can't find anything to complain about it. I would recommend to bring thermacell or something similar during the mosquito season to enjoy the outside activities near the cottage vicinity, like barbequin or enjoying the evening in the jacuzzi. It is the nicest Airbnb spot that I've visited to date in the last five years.

The accommodation was nice, modern and equipped with everything you need. The communication with Henning was great and very courteous! We were informed and educated about everything. The accommodation is still in the construction area with some construction sites, but that was completely fine. The midnight sun shone directly on our hot tub:) 15 minutes from Henningsvær and the nearest shopping.

We had a wonderful time surrounded by nature! Already upon arrival we felt totally comfortable in the cabin! The location right on the lake can't be beat in idyll! 😊 The accommodation offers everything you need for a break from everyday life. With the hot tub, sauna and barbecue area, you can make yourself comfortable even in colder temperatures. We dream of returning to this little paradise in nowhere at some point ✨ Pasi was also a great host, always within easy reach and he gave us a number of great recommendations and tips ◡for this unforgettable time!

we had everything we needed. the house is stunning and well equiped. you have everything beginning with a fire place, a hot tub, a sauna. a bit of a minus is the location. there are many street light because the house is in the middle of a skiing area. if you want so see the northern lights clearly i would sugest going to a more remote place

Just amazing location and place😍

We are no strangers to Tromso but this was the first time we had stayed at Monica's place. We were very pleased to have chosen to do so though and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The instructions on how to get there were good although we perhaps wouldn't have tried to drive the final 400m to the house at all if we'd appreciated just how tricky that can be even when it's been 'cleared' and the car tyres were studded. Better is just to park in the garage at the top. The guide to the house also covered everything and we enjoyed in particular the sauna and fire (lots of wood provided). The hot tub is a more basic one but we still enjoyed using it a couple of times. The location is great for the Northern Lights with low light pollution and possibility to walk all the way round the house on the veranda. The house is very well equipped and we discovered the local reindeer whilst making good use of the snow shoes. We'd thoroughly recommend Monica and her beautiful house and happily stay again.
