What a fantastic stay we had! This place is more than just a caravan. It felt like home from home. Such a spacious, comfortable and all round perfect place to stay. We loved it so much we stayed an extra night. The host was responsive and even came to the caravan to help us with some things when we arrived. Very close to whitstable, Hearn bay and not far from Broadstairs we visited them all. We will definitely be back.

We had a lovely stay here, Nick was an excellent host, greeted us on arrival and very helpful with local info. Nick responded almost immediately to messages and had the pool ready for us to use as and when we requested. The kids had so much fun in the pool, the floats and toys left out to use were an added bonus! House was spotless and perfectly equipped. Would definitely Recommend and would happily return. We were pleased to find accommodation available where we could all stay and have a bed, have our second Christmas Day and generally be together with lots of space. Having the pool to enjoy was a particular bonus as most of us enjoy the water.

I had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Sharon's place. She was really helpful on my first day, allowing me to put some food inside the fridge, ahead of time, due to the high temperature. The weather was amazing for my whole stay and the great decking area and private garden, really were perfect to sunbathe and enjoy the fantastic views, over fields to the sea. The location of the caravan is great, as you are private and quiet but equally close to both the beach and the site amenities. The caravan was spotlessly clean, with really comfortable beds and everything you may need for your stay. I have been to Mersea Island on many a day trip but now I have stayed here, I think it has truly become my happy place. I totally recommend Sharon's holiday home and look forward to coming back in the future.

Laura’s house is beautiful, it’s very private and the pool is fantastic. The house is cosy and spotless clean. The area is also quite nice, and there’s also a pub walking distance.

Had a lovely relaxing stay in a great property. I really quiet location with fantastic outdoor space that was perfect for a family break. The kitchen had all we needed for our meal prep and Clacton is a short drive away for the big supermarket shop. Recommend that you take your garden games but don't forget to pack your swimming bits to spend time in one of the hot tubs afterwards. All the family said they would love to stay there again. Antonina was always speedy and helpful with responses and helped us retrieve the items that we managed to leave behind.

I stayed for my 30th birthday celebrations and had the best time ever. This place was perfect! the decor, the location, the surroundings and most importantly Karen and her husband was so friendly and lovely and ensured I had a special birthday. I’ve stayed at Airbnb’s before and I’ve never had a host as lovely as Karen was, the perfect host we could have wish for. The swimming pool was amazing and me and my family had a wonderful time enjoying it in the sun with a BBQ. The cottage was spotless and a welcome hamper was provided and every little detail was perfect. The garden area was beautiful through out the day and so peaceful and relaxing. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough, it was truly perfect and I will definitely be staying again and recommending to everyone I know! Thank you again for making it such a special birthday x

We were very impressed on arrival. Lovely peaceful grounds, pool bigger than we’d expected and great games area. Good place to stay with our extended family, good central location, really enjoyed nearby Canterbury. We were lucky with the weather. We visited Howletts zoo & 2 different sea-sides. The house is quite warm, it’s great fans are provided in all bedrooms. Improvements- Need better extraction for the kitchen- & update the book on what to do if the smoke alarm goes off! The agency were quick to help but with poor phone signal this was tricky to arrange. Bigger beds/ new mattresses Downstairs loo had no toilet lid Other reviews mentioned cobwebs & the place seeming a bit ‘tired’, I’d agree with some of that but it didn’t stop us having a wonderful time & a few cobwebs don’t bother me, everything else was clean and we’d love to return .

We absolutely loved this home and would love to stay again! It was immaculately clean, well equipped, and has a fab garden, which we were able to use a lot due to the gorgeous weather. Close to shops, great cafes and the beach. Really quick and helpful responses from hosts. We really appreciated the lovely welcome gift and the bucket and spade got a lot of use - thank you! We will definitely recommend to friends and family and will be back.

Lovely home ideal for a few friends sharing, as we were. Special mention for the lovely big first floor living room and outdoor seating area.

Lesley and her husband were their when we arrived (2hrs early) they were putting the finishing touches to the cleaning. They very friendly and kindly allowed us to enter immediately. The parking was on the driveway. The welcome pack was extensive and good quality. The property was clean, tidy and modern fittings for bathrooms and kitchen. Everything was of a high standard, lacking nothing. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Wonderful stay in a lovely location. We stayed during the week so it was quieter which was good as my dog was with me and can be reactive but did surprisingly well. Being in old Leigh was lovely and right by the beach. I found parking really easy in the area and not expensive. Loved my stay and would definitely recommend.

The most wonderful place to stay! Whitstable is the most wonderful place for a trip or holiday and the house is deservedly iconic. Perfectly situated directly on the beach, spacious with beautiful wrap around gardens, it was the most wonderful holiday spot. Katrina and Rupert were wonderful hosts, friendly, accommodating and informative. The house has everything you could want for the perfect, comfortable stay for a family or group. We cannot wait to return already!

A great venue - hosted a large group with ease, Kitchen was well equipped and we felt right at home, Greeted on arrival and given a quick tour so no concerns how anything worked and very comfortable. I would stay here again :)

We love the house, beautiful back yard with BBQ facilities connected with a spacious kitchen / dinner area. The whole family enjoyed the stay. Peftect local, very close driving distance to chlemsford City center where you can find all kind of supermarkets, Restaurant and shopping Malls.

Dan was brilliant. Responded very quickly to queries and very helpful. House was clean and exactly as described. We loved it and would definitely recommend.

Extremely happy with our recent visit. We stayed here for a yoga retreat style weekend as a group of friends. The host was very helpful and gave us a tour on arrival and was on text messages if we needed anything. We brought our own yoga mats with us and did yoga on the decking with beautiful views surrounding us. We had a private chef cook us a meal - the kitchen was super modern and clean, dining tables outside and inside so if it's sunny you can make the most of the outdoor space. We visited local Yotes Court Vineyard for a tour which was fab and only 15 mins away by car. The property felt very clean and the facilities were perfect. Would 100% recommend and would visit again.

Comfortable home in peaceful location but near to the beach, very pet friendly. Mersea island is a lovely location. Plenty of lovely pubs within 10min walking distance. Mel is a fantastic host, very friendly and goes out of her way to make your holiday special.

Mark is a great host with a well presented property. Very comfortable throughout with all the amenities we needed. Having broadband/wi-fi at the property was fantastic too! We will definitely return.

Great location for attending a wedding at Villiers Barn. House is really well equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Gemma was really responsive prior to our stay and provided lots of useful information re the local area, places to eat etc. The hot tub was a big hit with all of us, particularly our 5 year old grandson!

Great location for a seaside stay. Accommodation very good but fairly hard work for us as old age pensioners; Leigh-on-Sea is fairly hilly and although the location of the house was excellent, it wasn't the easiest for us with a pushchair and two-year old in tow (we had our daughter with us which helped considerably)!

I booked Maxines place with 7 of my friends for our friends Hen weekend. From very first booking Maxines beautiful home, Maxine was a fantastic host. Very quick responses and very friendly and polite. Maxine allowed us earlier check in so we could decorate with a balloon arch and some Hen party decorations in time for our bride to be to arrive. That was extremely helpful for us. From arriving and Maxine meeting us at her beautiful home to hand over the keys for the weekend and show us around with the instructions, everything was perfect. Maxine is extremely helpful, accommodating and friendly. Now to the incredible airbnb in general. Maxines home is absolutely incredible. The way its decorated, the cleanliness, the homely feel, the space, literally everything about it was just beautiful! The garden area is just stunning, with the great touch of a hot tub! Some of our girls loved having a little relaxation in the tub in the afternoon sun. Would recommend Maxine and her home to all!
