Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Nosara

Nous étions un petit groupe de 4 adultes et nous avons adoré notre séjour. La villa était magnifique et telle que sur les photos. L’emplacement est idéal pour accéder à pied à la plage et à tous les bons restaurants et cafés de Nosara. À noter que nous vous recommandons de bien suivre les instructions de l’hôte pour la sécurité de l’endroit. Nous avons eu un excellent service de la part de l’hôte et de son équipe pour nous accommoder sur certains éléments. Ils sont très gentils. A noter également que la villa est annexée au restaurant des propriétaires. On entend le bruit le soir des clients, mais c’est pas si pire que ça… ça met de la vie! Nous y retournerions!

Perfection. Absolute perfection. The other reviews are spot on. Just book it already. The views can’t be beat and no picture can do it justice. Everywhere you look it is beautiful and magical: the jungle sounds, the sunsets, the amazing flora and fauna, the details and thoughtful touches. It is so perfect it is almost overwhelming. Every day, I couldn’t believe I was there. And the hosts! They are amazing! They are genuinely kind and generous, not that fake used car salesman nice. They are the real deal. Anything they recommend, just do it. Use their concierge service and do everything! You can’t go wrong. We would have stayed longer and plan to go back soon.

My family of four had a wonderful time at Casa Vidrio. Nicole was a fabulous host - super responsive and she even offered us a late check out to accommodate our evening flight home. The house is gorgeous and modern. We woke up to the sound of howler monkeys frolicking in the trees outside our window and looked forward to our daily visit from the local coatie who would swing by to cool off in the pool for a few minutes before moving along. Despite being an open floor plan we had no issues with insects save the occasional ants and dragonflies all to be expected. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and the felt right at home. We loved staying in Playa Pelada and had the easiest time getting to and from Playa Guiones each day in our golf cart. I highly recommend staying at Casa Vidria if you're looking for a peaceful retreat that's still close enough to enjoy all the fun of Nosara.

I work remote and took my work to the mountains. I stayed at this hotel for a whole month. The mountains are beautiful and amazing to wake up to every morning. The sunrises and star gazing on this mountain was phenomenal. The fruitful trees that the monkeys have to climb daily was so inspiring to watch how God provides to all species. The sounds of the birds singing in the jungle was a great experience for my morning coffee. And last but not least the amazing staff here! I am blessed to have found this wonderful place to stay for a month! The food was amazing, and the service was excellent. Staff responded timely and very helpful. Great WiFi connectivity, electricity worked well, plenty of hot water. You will need a 4x4 vehicle or a taxi that provides it. Beaches are nearby and the culture was great to visit and explore. I see why this area specifically is the blue zone. Pura vida lives in this mountain top. Definitely recommend. Can’t wait to visit again. Glamping!!

Cristin’s place is the amazing sanctuary in Nosara I was looking for. It was perfect for my stay with strong WiFi I was able to work all week and walk to the beach at the end of my day. Centrally located near all the best Nosara has to offer. Cristin was a super responsive host and was extra accommodating when I needed support. Could not recommend this spot more!

We had such a magical stay here. From the moment we booked, the communication with the host was seamless—responsive, kind, and super helpful. The house itself is stunning—every detail thoughtfully designed with high-end touches and impeccable taste. It’s fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, yet still feels like a peaceful retreat tucked into the jungle. We woke up to monkeys playing in the trees and fell asleep to the sounds of nature. It’s the perfect balance of privacy and proximity—just a short walk to the beach, but completely immersed in nature. Everything was spotless, and the host checked in a few times during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. Would return in a heartbeat!

This place was pure magic. Close to playa pelada and some great restaurants and the little bodega store. Our two families loved the separate living spaces that were just interactive enough. The concierge service was a great help in getting local recommendations and booking excursions. Would definitely recommend.

This place is stunning! It's up in the hills and super quiet. This modern home was beautiful and immaculate and had everything we needed. All the glass windows remind you that you are in the jungle and to slow down, what an amazing space. Claudia the property manager is fantastic and responsive. This rental is a treasure and feels like a real treat. Thank you for sharing it 🙏

Loved our stay. Very private. Felt safe and secure. Great home with everything you need for a great stay and to feel at home. Shower had hot water and the water is filtered and wonderful to drink. The hosts were friendly and helpful. The home was clean and comfortable. The pool was great to cool off in the afternoons and the outdoor shower was lovely too. Sunrise cafe and la Luna in town are walkable and delicious. Easy walk to the beach. You need a 4x4 to navigate the roads everywhere in Costa Rica.

Todo estuvo estupendo, excelente ubicacion a unos 5 minutos de la playa caminando por una calle tranquila. Muchos restaurantes cerca. Cuando me hospede parecia que estabamos solos entonces la piscina y parqueo era solo para nosotros, pero no dudaria que si los 9 apartamentos estuvieran ocupados todo seria mucho mas complicado, entonces es algo a tener en cuenta dependiendo de la epoca en que visiten. Fui en un auto electrico y cerca hay algunas estaciones de carga, aunque piden ser cliente para utilizar el servicio, de vuelta hay un cargador rapido en samara que fue suficiente para llegar directo a la casa. Toda esta costa incluyendo playa pelada tiene olas muy fuertes, por lo que recomendaria bañarse solo si tienen confianza y experiencia, para los surfistas es un paraiso!

Not many other places are this close to the beach to surf. More of a basic lodging but everything worked fine including the WiFi and ac. Great location for food and walking around north guiones. Joshua was super responsive to any questions I had.

Ich habe ein Upgrade für die Casita Nummer 3 erhalten und war mehr als glücklich damit. Ich bin sehr wählerisch was die Ausstattung und Sauberkeit angeht und ich könnte nichts bemängeln. Alles ist blitzsauber und Alberto und sein Cousin sind die freundlichsten und fleissigsten Mitarbeiter. Morley ist sehr freundlich und immer gut zu erreichen. Als Alleinreisende habe ich mich rundum wohlgefühlt und werde nicht zögern zurück zu kommen! Die Focacciapizza in der Bodega daneben, Sunrise Kaffee oder Chivo‘s sind ein Must-Go! Die Yoga Shala und das Gym, plus der Pool - keine offenen Wünsche!

Most amazing stay with Luz! She has been so kind and helpful the entire time staying with her. Giving us rides into town whenever she is able (so thoughtful). The place is beautiful, clean, peaceful and there is even a yoga shala upstairs that is lovely to take some time for yoga and meditation. She even did our laundry twice! I highly recommend staying at Luzs and next time im in Nosara I plan to come back! This is definitely one of my favorite airbnbs ive stayed in. Worth every dollar!

I spent 2 weeks at this beautiful place located in La Huacas, walkable to the beach and restaurants but tucked away from the comparative “busyness” of Nosara. The landscaping and surrounding jungle were perfect to watch birds and monkeys. Completely safe and luxurious accommodation in a newer build. I compared pricing for the area and feel this Airbnb provides a great deal more privacy and amenities than a hotel. Being able to cook for myself was a great benefit for me. I frequently had the property to myself. Owner was very responsive to communications. Note: Nosara has really grown since I was last there and construction is everywhere. This place was relatively quiet in comparison and I could enjoy the landscape in the immaculate garden view terrace. I loved the pool area for yoga and outdoor showers. At peak times, the main road is busy down below the house but this was never a concern. Encourage you to explore the views from La Huacas on quad or e-bike during your stay. Pura vida!

I had the most incredible stay in Sámara, and this was primarily thanks to the host, Balto. He always checked in with me to make recommendations, and looked out for my safety as a female solo traveler. The property Balto and Marisela have created is a jungle oasis, private and filled with friendly cats, dogs, and occasionally howler monkeys! Even better, the house is located just a few minutes walk from the beach and main street. If you're afraid of mosquitoes, it is best to bring a bug net for your bed because they do get in. There's no AC but the fans work well to keep you cool at night. One night I was kept up by the howler monkeys above, but honestly, this elevated the Costa Rican experience! I stayed in the one-bedroom attached to Balto's house, which worked very well as a solo traveler but I wouldn't recommend it for couples looking for privacy. He has other rooms on the property that would be better suited for couples! I hope to go back to stay with Balto, I highly recommend!!

Bianca’s little loft was perfect for my stay in Nosara! It’s super close to walk to the beach, and near to a bunch of bars, restaurants and shops but tucked away behind her restaurant 10pies, so it’s actually quite peaceful. She was really helpful and responded quickly to any questions I had. I definitely recommend Bianca’s place!!

Andrew and JoAnne’s place is spacious, clean and comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped, with a blender, microwave and coffeemaker. It was spotless on our arrival. The bed linens and towels were clean and fresh. The location is a short walk to a beautiful beach- sunset is the place to be in the late afternoon. We enjoyed dinner at La Cuchinara Doni Emi, which was fantastic. The pool is clean with a shaded area which was perfect for relaxing. The area felt safe and was quiet at night. Overall, it was excellent value for the stay!

We really loved the peacefulness of this condo. Being away from the tourist destinations, quiet, and a beautiful view was just what we needed. Perfect to just relax, enjoy the beach, and recharge.

This AirBnB checked all the boxes for an extended comfortable stay. A/c, 2 br well equipped kitchen, laundry. We stayed there for 2 months, working remotely from there. It is a 5-7 min walk to the far end of Samara beach where all the tours leave and you can see a picture perfect sunset every day! There were some minor hiccups with Internet first 2wks as we had to stay connected all day for work. However, owners were very responsive and worked with Internet company to get it resolved. Worked great after that! Location itself is about 2.2 km from Samara town where most restaurants and stores are. Typically, a 30-40min walk on the beach. After the first few days, we did not miss going into town...our corner of beach was perfect! Added bonus, howler monkeys liked the trees around. There is a grocery store with most essentials and a nice local Soda short walk away. I bought a bicycle during my stay and was perfect for quick trips to town and to get to the surf spot in about 10min

Had a wonderful stay in Samara for our honeymoon in the Dalia suite! The Congo lounge was a beautiful spot to watch the sunrise in the morning and view howler monkeys in the trees. Beautiful views and a relaxing atmosphere was the standout. The pool was very refreshing on hot afternoons and the property overall was beautiful!

I can’t say enough positive things about Tina and Jorg and their place! Looked just like the photos and amenities were as described. During our stay we encountered one of the largest rain storms in the history of Samara! We had some slight water damage on the walls but as soon as I told Tina and Jorg, they were quick to respond and help out. They even went as far to come by the place the next morning with a bottle of wine as an apologetic gesture! Samara is a safe small town with so many restaurants that are all within walking distance of the condo. There is a path that takes you out to the Main Street from the condo, it is a bit of a steep hill but the exercise was much needed after all the food we ate! There’s also a ton of excursion vendors for tours like ATVs and kayaking. I definitely recommend yoga as well as Gusto’s for comfy beach chairs and great service! Tina and Jorg truly went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We loved our stay. Pura Vida!

The host was very responsive with suggestions for my teenaged son to enjoy local surfing areas and options for local places to eat (Lola's and Tiki Hut are fabulous!)
