Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Nottely Lake

We had a wonderful time at this lake house. Plenty of room for my family of five to spread out and relax and such a beautiful setting. The house had everything we needed to just relax and spend time there. The kitchen was very well stocked with equipment. My sons loved fishing in the lake and we all enjoyed sitting around to bonfire at night. It was wonderful. Next time we will stay for longer!

This place was truly magical. From the breathtaking view to the beautiful cabin everything was amazing . The cabin itself was very comfortable and is definitely for a big family. The cabin was very accessible and made me and my family feel right at home. This place was definitely worth every penny!

This is the perfect place it is 7 to 15 minutes away from amazing hikes, water falls and down town as well. I was really on vacation as I didn’t have to drive far. Vogel state park is 7 min away and many of the water falls are about 10 to 15 min away. The house is beautiful the host is amazing. I will be coming back and I never like to visit the same place twice but this spot was just amazing.

Barry and Tricia are both so lovely, they were always very professional and extensive with their responses which I appreciated. The house was gorgeous and very spacious. It was very clean with an amazing view of the lake behind. We met the previous owner and he was very kind as well. The only thing I could think to ask of them is to include more pictures in the listing! You are gatekeeping your gorgeous home! lol This is a worthwhile stay with a group of friends or family. We enjoyed a relaxing 3 night stay in Bobby and Dina’s beautiful, river house and they were the perfect hosts! They were very responsive to questions and even offered area suggestions including a wonderful local butcher, for our BBQ night on the deck, listening to the peaceful sounds of the river. This home had everything we needed to prepare meals, very clean and tastefully decorated. We highly recommend this home for your trip to the Murphy area and would love to return when we have more time to fish & kayak!

Usually when you stay at an Airbnb, you get what you pay for but here we got a very unexpected and never before experienced stay. Every single detail was so thoughtful and so generous, and it made our time an absolute blessing. Joan and clay are such a joy to talk with and they have gone far above and beyond any other place to make sure we had everything we could want or need. Truly felt like they were family and enjoyed our stay so so much. Will be back soon.

Would definitely recommend this cabin. Super convenient to Helen, easy access, not too far up the slopes, and easy exit with the lower driveway. This is not a luxury cabin. It is compact and enough for a couple and a pet. But the value for the stay is spot on, Roy is super awesome, and I would stay again.

It was an easy walk to downtown, but still felt like you were away enough from the downtown. We enjoyed sitting at the river reading with our books and having a fire. She left us some sweet treats and firewood. Very relaxing and enjoyable. Highly reccommend

This cute little downstairs apartment was perfect for our anniversary trip! It’s a great space for two people to relax and enjoy each other’s company. We spent our mornings on the porch swing drinking coffee and at night would head into town to eat at the recommended restaurants. The place was cute, homey, and had amazing views of the mountains!

The resort is lovely! It’s a nice get away. Just keep in mind cell service is limited in this area! It’s beautiful. 😍

Loved Russ’s place cozy, private and close to everything. Russ was very friendly ma responsive. I would stay here again for sure .

The place was honestly a bit smaller than I had expected, but it was my first time ever renting Airbnb so I didn’t even read descriptions before renting, so that’s on me. Everything felt pretty comfy and my favorite part was definitely the sound of the river at night, gives an extremely peaceful vibe to the stay. It’s also a great location to find waterfalls for those wanting to hike. Excellent location, would definitely rent again.

Five Stars! I had a wonderful stay at Kimberly’s place. The location was perfect—quiet, private, and in a peaceful area that made it easy to relax. The home itself was beautifully decorated and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It was clean, cozy, and felt very welcoming. I would absolutely stay here again if I’m ever back in the area. Highly recommend!

Great place, good management, and reasonable prices. Barely interacted with the owners, which was ideal for my group. You are trusted to check in and out without supervision. The location is beautiful, and there are PLENTY of beds.

We highly enjoyed our stay. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. We enjoyed the covered screened in porch, as it rained for much of our stay. The property is beautiful and in a great location. Damien is helpful and friendly and responded quickly. Overall this is one of the nicer Air Bnb's we have stayed in. We will definitely be back and stay at one of his properties in the future.

My family enjoyed a long, relaxing weekend at Craig's Encore at the end of Lake Nantahala. We have stayed in many places, and this home was truly exceptional with every detail considered. We enjoyed watching Lake Nantahala change throughout the day, paddled in the kayaks, swam, soaked in the hot tub, relaxed and had fun outings renting a boat one day and tubing down the Nantahala River the next. It was truly memorable, and the only drawback was the long drive in over gravel, but that's what makes it so peaceful and remote. The lake was never busy and such a big change from so many crowded and touristed spots. We hope we made a good impression and will be welcomed back. This is truly a loved and cherished family home, and we appreciate Craig sharing it with us.

We had 14 women for a weekend getaway. The property is just as the photos indicate., stunning! The river is a distance away but you can hear the rush of the river clearly. The walk down to the river is not “ a walk in the park” it is a nicely cleared path down a mountainside with ropes at the steepest parts with a nice layer of gravel which helps. They provide walking sticks for 10, and I found the one I used to be very helpful ( 64 y.o.) The kitchen was well equipped and made it easy to prepare for 14 people. The living areas were very comfortable and the dining area was spectacular. The sofa beds were, well sofa beds. I probably wouldn’t plan for us to use those for adults again, but that is literally the only “con” I could find because everything else was just perfect!

We will definitely be back. Love, Love, Love Jeanna’s Place! It was beautiful and very clean! The yard was peaceful and had total retreat vibes. We were in town for work and it was so great coming back to such a restful sanctuary in the evening. The only thing to keep in mind is you do have to take your trash bags to the local recycling center so you have to be sure to plan your schedule around their operating hours.
