Welcome to Altes Land, Germany's largest fruit growing area with its numerous orchards. Here you can relax wonderfully, especially cycling through apple orchards or to the nearby Elbe. For shopping, we recommend the Hanseatic city of Hamburg (about 45 minutes by car) or the cozy cities of Stade (20 minutes) and Buxtehude (12 minutes). Our property is located on the outskirts of Hamburg, close to the Elbe incl. Welcome courtyard and the Klövensteen. The S-Bahn is within walking distance in approx. 10 minutes. Large attic apartment

The apartment is located on the upper floor of a two-family house. It is centrally located but also in a quiet location of Harsefeld. The size is about 110 square meters, where up to 4 people can really feel comfortable :o) The proximity to Buxtehude (17 km), Stade (22 km) and Hamburg (30 - 80 km) and also accessible by train, is for many guests the reason to book our apartment at reasonable prices.

Cycling between the Altes Land and Hamburg

With a great passion for mid-century style and bicycles of all kinds, we have decorated our 1970s bungalow. From here you can easily explore and experience the old country with Hamburg, but also Buxtehude, Stade and the Elbe up to Cuxhaven. But of course, the house is just as suitable as a temporary home office (Airbus near Stade + Finkenwerder) or for just a relaxing time out in the countryside.

The location at the beginning of the Altes Land provides a perfect base for exploring by bike or car, both the Altes Land and Hamburg. Our simple little house offers a well-equipped pantry, shower room/toilet, dining area, cozy sofa and tiled stove on the first floor. On the upper floor (space-saving stairs, see photos) box spring bed (1.40 x 2.00 m), satellite TV, large desk with view. In front of the cottage is a pretty little garden seating area with private dike access. We look forward to seeing you!
