Idyllic cottage for a countryside getaway! We stayed at the Farmhouse for 3 nights as a group of 7 adults and 2 children. We loved our stay here, can highly recommend. Clean, peaceful, comfortable beds, fast WiFi, big TV. The large kitchen was perfect for a big group with 2 ovens and dishwashers. The heated pool and game room were around the corner - technically shared with the other cottages but we were always alone when we went. 5mins drive to picturesque Bakewell. Only cons (which are not really that critical): Hosts are not responsive through Airbnb, but thankfully instructions for check in were very clear and there’s a booklet in the house with all necessary info. Kitchen could be stocked with a few additional cooking essentials, like oil and a few spices.

The house was absolutely incredible and excellent value for money. It was in stunning surroundings, the hot tub was amazing and the exclusive booking system for use of the pool was a lovely addition. The house was spotless and full of character and the private garden was also wonderful. The beds were really comfortable and there was just the right balance of charm, space and comfort. We definitely struck gold when booking this gem. Thanks so much for all of your support in making this a trip to remember!

We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. The space is great and as an extra bonus, you get to use a heated pool and brilliant games room. We went early Jan and there was loads of snow, as well as pretty cold temperatures, but the house warmed up very quickly and we were always more than comfortable. The property is close enough to Bakewell for a short drive or taxi ride, should you want to venture into town. We're thinking about going back in the summer.

Absolutely perfect from booking to checking out. Richard is an incredible host with everything you need. If you have kids, this is the place. Our 6 and 4 year old loved swimming multiple times, reading the kids library of books and playing with the many toys at the house. You can’t get any better than these hosts and this house.

Great location as half family in the north and half in London. Took bikes and did cycle routes round Rutland water. Also did paddle boarding. Love it and hope to return to discover more in the area. House was awesome , lovely welcome pack of chocolate and Prosecco; staff on site super helpful. I did notice the week after we stayed was £ 200 more per night - which I suppose is school holiday/ high season. As we are retired, this would be quite expensive for us.

Lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings, very clean and tidy. My children loved the pool and games room. Easy to get to all the main attractions will be coming back soon. Thank you for a great stay!

Louise is one of the best hosts ever!! Not only a gorgeous house but a gorgeous human being, helpful, friendly, couldn’t do more for us. The house was beautiful and clean, near the loveliest village. Shops were 2 minute walk away and lively pubs also! Would definitely return x

Joanne’s house was the perfect base for us to attend a wedding in Nottingham. Couldn’t have asked for a better host, place to stay and generally everything was perfect!

Excellent, unique cottage. Perfectly placed for Nottingham or the Spire Lea Hospital (10 mins away) which we were visiting. Has everything you need, secluded, relaxed and a comfortable bed. Host communicative, entry is easy. All good.

Beautiful home, relaxing atmosphere, close to the local grocery store. Would highly recommend, and stay here again!

Stayed here as I’d just sold my house in Nottingham and needed a place to stay until my other Airbnb was available. Jo’s place was spacious and well furnished with everything you need and more from a dual air fryer to fresh towels. Couldn’t have asked for a better host either, even offering local places to eat and if we needed anything. Would highly recommend this place and I’m actually gutted it wasn’t available from Aug to Sep when I booked my other place. Thank you anyway :)

We only stayed for a night. It was a great stay and just what we were looking for with 3 bedrooms, a comfortable front room and bathroom. It’s about 10mins drive into Nottingham, which is useful. Had a great nights sleep and the area was very quiet. The host was very responsive when messaging.

Brilliant stay at Amy's house. Location is great, quiet street but short walk to West Bridgford restaurants, shops and park. Also easy to get to Holme Pierre point. House was larger than expected and very modern and clean. Bedrooms are very spacious and perfect if you need to fit a cot for little ones like we did! Lovely garden and three parking spaces too. Will certainly come back if we are in the area!

We had a large group of different ages and the home accommodated us well. The home was very comfortable and lots of the furnishings, carpets, fittings etc felt very new. The kitchen was well equipped and nice touch of a few complimentary teas and coffees, and shower gels etc in the bathrooms. The check in process was easy and the home easy to find. All in all we had a very positive stay and would come back again.

I enjoyed my time whilst staying here. The place was exactly as described and clean. I also want to give compliments to the host for being very responsive.

Very responsive and helpful hosts, great amenities

This was our third stay with Justin since April. I think that says it all. :-) During this visit, we were invited to select veggies from the ample garden to dine on. We enjoyed the fresh green beans. Please see our previous reviews for more details. Justin and is family went the extra mile to accommodate us and we really appreciate their kindness.

Really comfortable beds, lots of space and perfect home from home vibe! We stayed during Download festival and was bliss to be 40 mins away from the festival and come back to good beds and a lovely kitchen.
