We had an incredible stay at Waterfall Drive, Wongawallan. The property is an absolute haven — tucked away in the scenic Gold Coast hinterland, yet still close enough to shops and coastal attractions. The home itself is spacious, beautifully maintained, and designed to make the most of the surrounding natural beauty. Waking up each morning to the sounds of nature and expansive views of the rolling hills was a true highlight. The outdoor areas are stunning, perfect for relaxing with a coffee or wine, and the peaceful atmosphere makes it feel like your own private retreat. Inside, the layout is both functional and luxurious — ideal for families or couples looking for space, comfort, and privacy. The kitchen was well-equiped.

We love staying at the Boathouse! Janene and Cameron are the most amazing hosts! As soon as we enter we feel relaxed! Ocean swims all day, beautiful beach, the most amazing sunsets! And the bed, aaah! Best sleep! The kitchen is well equipped for home cooked meals! While you feel like you have stepped completely out of the rat race, major stores are only a short drive away at Ocean Shores! 20 min drive approx to Bangalow and nearby Byron Bay. Brunswick Heads is only a 5 minute drive for some great restaurants, cafes, fishing! We’ve lost count of how many stays we’ve had at this special haven!

We absolutely loved our weekend away. Surrounded by lush rainforest and the calming sounds of nature, it was the perfect spot to unwind and recharge. The accommodation was clean, cosy, and beautifully styled with thoughtful touches throughout. We especially enjoyed being so close to beautiful walking treks. The hosts were warm, responsive, and made sure everything was just right. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat close to nature but with all the comforts of home, this is it.

Couldn’t be happier with our stay at Hilltop Retreat this week for us and our two dogs. A very tranquil and picturesque experience in the Scenic Rim. The house is very clean, tidy and well equipped with everything you need to make it feel like home. A very short drive to town and to the fantastic Golf Resort. We will recommend to everyone and we will definitely be back!

Denison’s place was beautiful, wood was stacked ready for the fire, the view was clear and sitting on the veranda was peaceful. Great hosts and a beautiful location. Recommend!

Cosy apartment and close to restaurants and bars Bed is super comfortable

Beautiful little oasis to kick back and experience nature. So calm and peaceful. Absolutely loved staying there, we will be back for our next visit to Mt Tamborine. We were provided daily breakfast for us to cook which was a wonderful extra touch. Jo is very friendly and kind, thanks for a having us!

Taree is a great host, she was always responsive and provided great support with every little detail making our stay a great experience. The place is pristine, greatly located, nice views and excellent cafes/ restaurants a few meters away, for sure one of those destinations that we look forward returning and recommending. Convenient location to accessing cafes, restaurants & grocery stores, which are within a short walking distance. We loved our scenic beach walks to other areas of the Gold Coast, making our experience even more enjoyable. Karine was very informative and kind, always ready and available to help. From the day before check in until we left Kylie’s place she was super helpful and covered all basis from the get go. I haven’t enjoyed staying away from home as much as I did this trip. Beautiful scenery, amazing restaurants literally right next to the resort and the vibe was just what we wanted - peaceful and happy. The room and location was perfect for our honeymoon! Convenient location, woolworths is within a very very short walking distance. Leslie, was very proactive with communication ensuring we were checked in and happy with the place. Very modern apartment, neat and tidy, everything we needed was there. Although the main bedrooms bed is a double and the mattress was hard was the only downfall for us. There are stairs at this resort so hard with a pram. Other then that i highly recommend this place!

We really loved the location of Sammi's place, super close to shops, beach front and restaurants/cafes. Plenty to do, but also a great spot to relax and watch the waves roll in. Everything was accounted for and we felt right at home as soon as we stepped through the doors. Definitely recommend this gem and will return!

Di and Nick’s place was perfect. Beautiful views and spotlessly clean. So easy to get to and from the airport by bus. Easy walk to restaurants and cafes. Easy walk to the beach. Would definitely stay again.

Perfect place for a couple getaway! Great location, close to the beach, shops, cafes and restaurants. We watched the sunrise and sunset from the balcony each day! Amazing views. Both hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with. Till next time!

We had a lovely stay! Unit was clean and well appointed. Everything we needed! Pod coffee machine was a lovely touch. Nice quiet area and close to everything. Darinka was very responsive and communication was great. Our only issue was that someone had parked in our space one evening but Darinka helped us as much as she could. However, the after hours number to call for the resort itself were not helpful at all which was disappointing. Would definitely stay here again! Thanks Darinka!

Great location wonderful home great value for money

John was very friendly and responsive. The apartment was in a great location with many restaurants around. Stayed for a work trip but will stay next time I’m visiting again here with family.
