Cottage holiday rentals in Nunavut

Karina’s cottage was just as she described it. It was warm and inviting and we felt at home as soon as we walked in through the door. There was absolutely nothing that we needed! We didn’t bring a dog, but Karina has everything you could possibly need if you did bring your furry companion. The beds were comfortable and sitting by the wood stove at night was heaven. The views from the cottage were incredible! We are hoping to go back in the summer and would recommend this place to anyone.

We stayed with our baby and dog, and it was a great stay! The nearby coffee shop was a fav, and the 10 min walk to the beach was great with the stroller. The deck could use a little love to prevent splinters for a crawling kiddo, but the small fenced area was nice for our pup to roam free.

This place as a perfect quiet getaway. If you want peace and quiet, this is the place to go! The locals were very friendly also when we needed help with directions and when we ran out of gas because there are no gas stations out there past Riverton. Something to take note of for sure. It is very remote

Our stay at Mark’s cabin was nothing short of amazing! The cabin was cozy, spotless, and perfectly stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Located just outside of St Paul, it offered the perfect balance of seclusion and access to nature. One of the highlights of our trip was the incredible ice fishing nearby! The lake was easily accessible, and we had a fantastic time spending the days out on the ice. And as if that wasn’t enough, we were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights right from the cabin’s fire pit. Watching them dance across the sky was an unforgettable experience. Mark was a wonderful host—friendly, responsive, and thoughtful. Check-in was a breeze, and he even provided firewood for a daily fee so we did not have to source our own. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with stunning scenery, excellent ice fishing, and the chance to see the Northern Lights, this cabin is the perfect spot. We can’t wait to come back!

We absolutely loved our stay at Dalyce’s guest house. She met us to make sure we could find the house, filled the fridge with snacks for our toddler, provided our dogs with everything they would need, gave us a tour of the property, set up everything that we would need for the night, brought us over food for breakfast and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. If you’re still searching for places to stay, just stop and book here. You will not regret staying at this peaceful oasis. Between the hot tub, acreage for everyone to relax on and other amenities, you’ll be feeling refreshed and at peace by the end of the trip. If we ever find ourselves in Alberta again, we will be going back to the guest house. If you book here, you’ll completely understand what I mean.

We enjoyed a family weekend of boating on pine lake. The space was as described, with lots of extras such as big spray, beach towels, and even coffee. We used the resort pool and hottub and found everything close by. The view was the best part, and we loved the deck and fire table. Wifi was not great unfortunately, as there was poor weather in the evenings.

Me and my girls had a great time always a nice place to stay and visit. The host was very accommodating. And already booked another stay. Thankyou

The cabin had everything you could ever need for a weekend getaway - lots of space, amenities, great appliances, and the hot tub was very clean and spacious. There were TVs in every bedroom and even a Dyson vacuum. Robin had everything we could need including cleaning materials, makeup wipes, coffee and sugar, extra blankets and sheets, lots of towels and soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, etc. There is a nice sunroom facing the lake and a cute fire pit and garden with extra wood for a fire in the back. It’s a great place for a weekend getaway at any time of the year. Would definitely visit again and recommend this place to anyone seeking a quiet little getaway in a beautiful cottage.

This is our second stay at the cabin! We always enjoy the peacefulness this place brings with the quaint fireplace and taxidermy on the walls. It’s cozy, rustic and feels like home. The hosts are fantastic at ensuring your stay is as best as it can be. Will book again in the future!

Our stay was perfect. It was a yearly family reunion with my siblings. Everybody had a great room and we loved the common areas - living/dining room, patio and area around fire pit. We didn’t have a fire as it was hot, but we could have. Everybody was really satisfied. Close to beach.

Chris’s place had everything we needed for our family of 4 to stay in Sylvan lake. The location was a mere 5 minute walk to the beach and maybe another 10 minutes to local shops and restaurants. It had everything we needed and Chris was a super friendly host. Would definitely recommend!

We had the most amazing time. Megan was wonderful and went above and beyond. Our month long stay was just what we wanted - beautiful views, time with each other, family and friends, enjoyed walks and runs and bike rides, the best restaurant ever at the ECO academy, especially their wine night. Roomy, modern, super comfortable beds. Nice kitchen, beautiful patio and backyard. Love the fire pit. We both work from home and that worked well in the space. We are runners and there was plenty of great places to run which was fantastic. I highly recommend staying at the cabin for an awesome getaway.

We had a fantastic experience staying at Lolly's and Guido's cabin. The place was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Lolly and Guido were very friendly and responsive, making check-in and communication smooth and easy. We especially appreciated the fishing tour with Guido and the free bicycles to use. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Six of us stayed here for my sister‘s 50th birthday, and it was a really lovely experience. The home itself is beautiful, really nice bathrooms, the indoor fireplace is lovely, and the screened porch area with the electric fireplace was definitely everybody’s favorite. The kitchen was very well stocked, super cosy place to hang out for a few days. It was really close to the beach, the yard was lovely to hang out in, we really enjoyed being in the hammocks, and all of the plants and flowers and trees. Hosts were very responsive and great communicators when we had questions. 10 out of 10 would recommend and stay here again.

The description in Kris’s add and the emailed instructions were great. Her cabin is decorated so cutely with a huge gazebo in the back which was fantastic for staying out of the wind. We did have a water issue but when brought to Kris’s attention she explained she had never run into this before with previous guests and I do believe it was beyond her control to remedy the situation until she could investigate further as to the cause. That being said I feel that she wasn’t happy that we weren’t 100% satisfied and did provide compensation to us in order to right a wrong that she had no control over. Would I refer or recommend Kris’s property to friends or family absolutely. Thank you for being such a gracious, accommodating and conscientious host. We’ve stayed at Adriel’s cabin twice now and we’ll definitely be back! She’s very responsive and kind. Being lakeside is phenomenal and the kayaks and other things provided for guests are amazing. There’s a great place to enjoy campfires and a small beach and beach toys for kids. The views are stunning, the stay is so peaceful. Highly recommend!

Lovely cabin in a beautiful place! Quiet, serene, with lots of wildlife. The cabin was well-equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. Jesse and Brianne were great hosts - friendly, responsive, and provided clear instructions. Would definitely return!

This was our second time staying in Sylvan Lake! We had a great stay here for 3 nights and definitely look forward to going back! Sandy and Dave’s place was just as described, and they responded immediately with any questions we had. Very peaceful quiet area! Would recommend. Thanks so much!

Veronica was an amazing host with great recommendations and very friendly, The property is very nice and an ideal location can walk to all the main spots around. Looking forward to staying again sometime soon!

The host (Leanne) was so responsive, very accomodating and gave clear instructions on how to rach the place, checking in&out. The house was clean, rooms were spacious enough. A great place to have fun with family and friends.
