Ericka is a fantastically thoughtful host! After a long day of travel, she had welcoming gifts in the fridge! Very helpful with any and all questions, the place was just exactly what we needed! Not far at all from the train station either! I’d stay here again for sure! Thank you!

5 star for sure! This place is a hidden gem, its so clean and has so many little extras to make you feel at home. I found seasoning to cook with,.coffee, tea, cream and sugar..and even a couple of pods for laundry. All of that plus an easy check-in, great parking space in the back (which you will need since street parking can be dicey) and the friendly neighbors made my stay wonderful. I stayed 7 nights and it is quiet at night so I felt very safe and got a good nights rest each night. I will definitely book again!!!

This is a great spot in Oak Park for a larger group. Would definitely stay here again when coming to Chicago!

Great host, responsive, very attentive to make sure the stay is peaceful and very clean space. The first thing I notice was how organized and how well thought out the space was.

Spacious apartment with fun extras (puzzle, yoga mat, etc.)! It was easy-to-find and well-stocked with supplies, including thoughtful items for our use. It was clean and comfortable; we didn't use the kitchen at all as it was a very quick stay. The hosts are cognizant of the noise from the train and highway, and provide earplugs, sound machines, blackout shades, a fan, etc., to help ensure guests can sleep well. The local recommendations were great. Downtown Oak Park is about a 10-minute drive; we appreciated the ability to walk 5 minutes to a nice café or restaurant.

It was a nice place. Had everything needed. The locality is really good. Quiet, peaceful and nice people.

Juliana was a great host and we felt right at home. She was very friendly and helpful. The place was outstanding and the fenced in huge backyard was awesome. Our dogs loved it. I would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Korey’s place was the perfect location for our stay. It was quiet and comfy and had absolutely great light for reading. Korey’s place is in a lovely neighborhood great for walking! Walkable to downtown Villa Park and very short drive to Modern Plate in Elmhurst. Wonderful restaurant mentioned in the New York Times! Easy access to the city. Park in Elmhurst and take the train or the El from Oak Park. I would definitely book Korey’s place again.

The house was perfect. There was an issue with the microwave. The host himself came and replaced it within an hour. I loved the service and the house was perfect. Everything was stocked and the house was easy to get in. We will definitely use this house if we are back in Chicago. Thank you for your hospitality.

We stayed one night and were very happy with the accommodations. Lisa was a helpful host and everything was very nice quality and squeaky clean. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was very nice with a big “rain” type showerhead AND a regular size detachable one. The neighborhood and yard area was calm and chickens were very cute! We had some fantastic empanadas at a nearby cafe called La Mulata - definitely recommend. There are a bunch of cool historical buildings nearby too (including the building the cafe is in). FYI since it’s a basement apartment (as advertised) there are a couple spots with slightly lower beams coming down from the ceiling). At 6’2” we were good to walk around without impediment, but I put my hand above my head at the lowest spot and the clearance was only about an inch, so if you are any taller, be careful or you may hit your head! Zirrell was a wonderful host. She always responded and her instructions were very thorough. She was also very understanding when our flight got delayed and we checked in later than expected. The apartment was clean and looked just like the pictures. It was a wonderful stay!

When we were first looking for a place to stay, none of the available AirB&Bs looked great. A week later, we looked again, and suddenly Julia's place popped up. It was so much better looking, and with a fairer price, than any others I could find in the list. A two-bedroom that is a *real* two-bedroom, for the price that others were charging for a pull-out bed in the living room. It was just as beautiful in-person. We felt immediately at-home and comfortable. I'm someone who has insomnia, especially while traveling, but there, I had no problem sleeping somehow. Also, it truly is a short walk to the Blue Line, or even a just few steps from the 77 bus route, which goes to the Blue Line, or all the way right into downtown Chicago.

My daughter and I stayed at Izakaya Studio on a recent visit to Chicago. The studio is great and Brett made it so easy to locate everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable. The next time we stay I hope to spend more time exploring the neighborhood because there were so many restaurants and shops to choose from (lots of open-air patios and decks which would be so nice during the summer season). The walk to the blue line El stop felt safe and quick. We loved the studio's layout. The kitchen and bedroom areas were separate and Brett has two big, comfy chairs for relaxing, and ample island space for eating or using as a work space. My daughter had some virtual work meetings and the Wi-Fi was reliable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you'd need for meal prep. We ate out each day, but our delicious breakfast take-out came from a place right up the street called Yolk. I highly recommend the Izakaya Studio for a relaxing and fun visit to Chicago.

Great location and property!

The time spent here was wonderful. This place has everything you need to feel at home away from home. Everything was clean and comfortable. The area was also really nice with tons of food and drinks within walking distance. The blue line is a short walk away and the busses run on the corner. I would definitely stay here again when coming back to Chicago.

This is a WONDERFUL one bedroom apartment that is both private and spacious! The owner/host has the space fabulously decorated with an eclectic mix of original contemporary artwork and antiques. Nothing is generic about the space and it has been outfitted for guests with loving care. The host, Kaye, clearly puts much trust in her guests with her charming decor and furnishings. The amount of space, the privacy and the home-y feel make it a place we'd love to return to.

Beautiful place to stay in Pilsen area just what we wanted! Close to downtown and amazing places to eat all around. Easy access to a lot of things to do. Beautiful place, extremely clean! We definitely enjoyed our stay at Laura’s!
