The vacation rental is located below the village of Amden. The farming family also lives in the same house. During the hay harvest or other work, there may therefore be some noise (milking machine, hay ventilation) or there are odor emissions (manure). However, we make an effort and take this into account as far as possible. We have cats, a dog and chickens. The goats and cows are on the Alp from June to September. We sell organic milk and eggs. Dogs are allowed, simply book with us, costs CHF 30.

Small Paradise above the Walensee

A beautiful old countryside home, lovely furnished in a paradise-like setting. The house is perfect for people who are looking to get a break from the big, loud world or would like to discover the beautiful Swiss mountains by foot. If you are coming by public transport you will need to hike one hour on a very beautiful hiking path (Weesen - Quinten). If you decide to come by car you will only need to hike 15min from the parking lot to the house. We highly recommend to wear good hiking shoes.

Lovely cozy quiet apartment in Glarus

We are a cosmopolitan family with two children (4 & 8) and at home in the beautiful Glarus mountains. Our new guest apartment is centrally located in a quiet location. Furnished with a bed 160 wide, shower with bath towels, kitchen with pots, pans, dishes, etc. Kitchen table, cabinet, Toilet in the stairwell. Garden with seating. Wi-Fi, coffee and tea are available.

The guest room and bathroom as well as the living room (where there is a small fridge, a Nespresso coffee maker and a kettle) are located in the attic with beautiful views of Lake Walen and the Churfirsten. OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES Our cat also lives in the attic, which shares the bathroom and the living room. It has a parking in front of the house and a seating area with a fireplace. The cozy accommodation is combined with an older farm, which is rather remote and surrounded by forest and meadow with a view of the beautiful Glarus mountains. In this area you can enjoy the tranquility, as a leisure opportunity there are many sights and sports facilities, such as hiking in the mountains of Amden or on the Speer – King of the Prealps.

In 5 minutes on foot you can reach the Äugsten cable car, the Ennenda train station and in 15 minutes by car the Elm and Braunwald ski resorts. Likewise, the picturesque Lake Klöntal.

Welcome to the Heidelbühl. Our approx. 230-year-old house stands on a hill above Nesslau. The two-story apartment is located in the annex, a former embroidery venue. It is separately accessible and has its own seating area. The train station and shopping facilities are about 2 km away.
