We all really enjoyed our stay at the Fisherman's Retreat. Charles was very responsive with any questions and very helpful. My fiance and I enjoyed the opportunity to see family in the area and enjoyed even more the peace and solitude the retreat offered after our visiting was done for the day. We enjoyed sitting on the back porch in the evenings and listening to cicadas. Thank you for a lovely stay.

The second story condo, was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed for two older adults bicycling in the area on a short stay. There are two pleasant and private balconies. One overlooks the bay and the other overlooks the boat docking area. We enjoyed sitting at the table on the bay balcony for snacks, coffee and the big water view. Pleasant breeze and few annoying sand gnats. You do have the same expansive view from the inside as well, which is a nice retreat. This gated grounds area has several different buildings. All seem well kept and it was very quiet on our weekday stay. It was convenient to the bike trails we wanted to ride and the two state parks, Bald Point and Ocklocknee, that we wanted to visit. The internet access was adequate for us, we did have to reconnect occasionally. The place was spotlessly clean and we enjoyed our stay in a low key part of old Florida that is fast disappearing. Would return for another visit. Easy place to like.

My husband and I enjoyed 3 wonderful nights here. It was so peaceful and relaxing! Loved walking to Angelo’s all 3 evenings. Great drinks and wonderful food. The place had everything you needed to be comfortable and also to cook a great breakfast. We will be back very soon!
