Thank You, Erica! I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful beach house that was arranged for me by Erica, and I couldn’t be more grateful for her exceptional service. From the moment I reached out to her, Erica was incredibly responsive and attentive to my needs. The beach house itself was stunning, spacious, beautifully decorated, and just a 2 minute walk away from the ocean. Erica also provided a wealth of local knowledge, recommending fantastic restaurants, activities, and hidden gems nearby. Her suggestions made my trip even more enjoyable, allowing me to experience the area. I cannot thank Erica enough for her professionalism and service provided . We had a great stay at Toes in the Sand. It was even better than pictured. I was originally worried from the photos that maybe you couldn’t see the ocean from the main living floor, but you absolutely can see the ocean from nearly everywhere in the house. It’s lovely. Such a charming house, quiet, beautiful beach, and near enough to groceries, gas, and anything else you’d need. Also, had a great Oceanside dinner at Fish Heads <30 min north! Location of home was close and convenient to local grocery store and restaurants. Beach is within walking distance, but plan on carrying a light load or plan on renting a heavy-duty beach cart from a local rental place. The path to the beach from the house begins as a road which turns into a boardwalk with several steps up and down, once boardwalk has ended the trek through the dune is lengthy with soft sand partially up hill. A standard beach cart will not be your best interest; you will need one with large beach style tires. There are close ORV ramps if planning on driving a 4x4. Area attractions are a lengthy drive away; Avon is more laid back and less busy area. Overall, house is older as most properties are in Avon. For a simple laid back relaxing place to just chill and relax, this was a perfect fit. Host is very communitive and informative about the residence. Kitchen is fully stocked for all necessary meal planning needs. I would stay here again in the future.

We had a wonderful week! It was a great location, very quiet and relaxing! Everything was just as listed. Would definitely be interested in staying here again!

We had a great time at Sushma’s house. The kitchen was well stocked with spices and extras like dishwasher pods and trash bags. We also appreciated the availability of sand toys, boogie boards, beach umbrellas, pool floats and beach chairs. There were numerous decks to enjoy the sound side views. The house was spacious and very comfy. We split our time between the ocean, the pool, the sound side and even took the ferry to Ocracoke. Sushma was very responsive and a great host. We have rented from outer beaches realty in the past and this was a far superior experience.

Kalid's house Las Palmas was the perfect place for my family and I. The location is perfect for getting right onto the beach. This is the cleanest and most well kept house I've stayed at. I've stayed in the Outer Banks several times and this is the best experience we've had by far. Kalid and his property manager a very responsive to whatever you need and make sure your stay is the best it can be. If you plan to travel to Rodanthe and this place is available, book it right away!

Kate was great! The place was beautiful, and all amenities were equal to or better than advertised. Everything was clean. The heated pool and hot tub were ready for us... The decks were great, especially the upper roof deck where you could start early and watch sunrise and go back up at night for sunset... Although the house is in a neighborhood this house is situated so that nobody is near you. The only sort of nearby house faces away from you, so privacy was high, and noise was low. The only thing we contacted Kate about was that when we got there the wifi wasn't working. She responded promptly with the news that the entire Outer Banks wifi was down. So not only was it out of her hands, but she also sleuthed out the problem and reported it to us right away. And it was back up the next morning. Avon is pretty small, and that's a big part of the charm. But we found several good restaurants. Ketch 55 in Avon was very good. Others a few miles south...

We loved Hygge By The Sea! It was a lovely one story home (one flight of stairs to access the house as is usual for the OBX) that fit our family perfectly. The house was spotless and so comfortable. We loved the laid back vibe and everyone felt right at home. Its location ocean front can't be beat.

We had a fantastic time at Mr DJ’s house. The location is perfect, and the home was spotless with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Both bedrooms and the living room have TVs, and the kitchen is fully equipped. There were plenty of towels, and the washer and dryer worked great. The bathrooms were exceptionally clean. We’ll definitely be staying here again in the future!

Kite's Inn was exactly as advertised and more. The home is beautiful, well-furnished, and the kitchen was well-equipped. We loved the location with great views of the Pamlico Sound. The House was ideal for pets and small children. The grass yard allowed our dogs to play outside and to swim in the Sound without having to worry about stepping on burs and the beach was ideal for our 1 1/2 year old grand child. The house is easy walking distance to nearby attractions and restaurants. Joshua is a great host who was responsive and proactive with ideas when we had a rainy day.

We came to Rodanthe to relax and that’s exactly what we did. This is the only Airbnb in the Outer Banks that we’ve considered staying at again. This rental house was more like a home which is rare to find at the beach. So many thoughtful extras to make your stay more enjoyable. The outdoor shower was everything. I didn’t use the shower inside our whole stay. The hot tub was clean and heated up quickly. The master bed was very comfortable. We spent a lot of time on the deck talking, laughing, playing games, and enjoying the sounds of the ocean and the breeze. Beach access is right in front of the house which made for a very short walk back to use the bathroom or get a drink. I appreciated having just one flight of stairs to walk my senior dogs up and down to go to the bathroom. The host was very prompt getting back to me and answering all of my questions. We had a slight issue that was out of the host’s control but they did everything in their power to make it right.

Janelle and Adrian are absolutely wonderful hosts. Their home is beautiful and perfect. In every way the second you walk in you feel like you are on vacation and you don’t wanna leave. We actually extended our stay because the house was so beautiful and the location of the home was so perfect that we Just needed that one more night before we were ready to say goodbye. They are so quick to respond if you have a problem with anything and they immediately fix it for you I will never use any other Airbnb again when traveling to that area.

This place were everything we hoped for and more. The house was very clean, well decorated, and well supplied with all cooking utensils and anything else you might need. It even had a good selection of spices and seasonings to use for cooking. The space under the house was a great hangout area for kids and adults alike. The view of the sound was amazing and the dock was great. The kayaks and paddle board were a very cool plus. Overall a five star experience and and we hope to come back next year!

Great house in a great location with an accommodating host. What more could you ask for? The space was clean and exactly as described. Communication was smooth, and the host went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. Thank you for a wonderful stay—we’d definitely come back!

We had a wonderful vacation time staying at Shenanigan Shores. It's proximity to the beach, the hot tub, and the swimming pool, all made for an enjoyable and relaxing time. Although we had a delay in being able to access the house, it was clean, nicely decorated, and provided a quiet and restful place for our vacation. We would be happy to stay there again and feel sure that other families will enjoy it as well.

We had a wonderful stay at Gia’s place. Place was exactly as described - very spacious home for our family of 10 to spread out. Ocean views from the second and 3rd floors. 5 minute walk to the beach - super convenient. Across the street from the Grocery Store - also very convenient. We didn’t have to use our vehicles at all. Would highly recommend, and would absolutely stay again!

Great rustic spot that was still very modern and clean. Walkable to both sides of the island. Only thing I didn’t realize when I booked it is that the upstairs is off-limits to guests.

Air bnb over charged us and Sherry caught it and took the time to contact them and get our money back. Very nice lady.

It's a vacation home and the location is the selling point. You have a view of the ocean out of most of the windows. And the sound of the waves is beautiful. Darren was extremely responsive and helpful. He was an excellent host. We would gladly go back and visit maybe at a different time because the cost was high in comparison to the others on the street. Side note; In my opinion the property management company and cleaning crew they have maintaining the home takes full advantage of the owners not living there. I hope he has appropriate conversations with them regarding their lack of.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I booked this OBX Airbnb while I was deployed, with the goal of reconnecting with my family and soaking up some much-needed beach time. This trip was exactly what I needed, and the experience exceeded my expectations in every way. The Airbnb itself was cozy and comfortable, located in a perfect spot to enjoy both the calm of the area and easy access to all the nearby attractions. The host made sure everything was clean and well-stocked, and the house had all the amenities we could ask for. We spent most of our time outside enjoying the beautiful weather, and the proximity to the beach made it so easy to just step outside and relax by the water. It was the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure—spending time with my loved ones, soaking in the OBX vibes, and checking out some local gems. If you're considering a trip to the Outer Banks, this Airbnb is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend!

Our stay at Nita’s home was amazing! The home was exactly as described and perfect for a quick get away to the beach. The beach was also right across the street which was great! We loved the fully functional kitchen, and the king bed was super comfortable. Also, it was a short walk to an awesome coffee shop and a few good restaurants. We would definitely recommend a stay at Nita’s home and hope to be returning to Avon soon!
