The 90 ha property is situated just outside the quaint village of Cercal do Alentejo and is surrounded by the meadows and ancient cork-oak trees that are iconic to this part of Portugal. The tracks that pass the property and lead into the scenic surroundings provide ample opportunities for hiking/biking, and the beautiful beaches of the Alentejan Coast are a short drive away.

Located in the picturesque village of São Luís, Refúgio da Aldeia is an elegant country house, consisting of a bedroom, bathroom and open space that includes a living room, fully equipped kitchen and mezzanine, featuring air-conditioning, TV and Wi-Fi. The outdoor space features a living/dining area, barbecue, garden and swimming pool. There is also a terrace with a wide view of the mountains. 2 bicycles are available. Located next to several hiking trails and about 15 minutes from the beaches.

It is 20min drive to the beaches of Vila nova de Milfontes

Our home is an agricultural house renovated into an open plan loft with 3 bedrooms (2 in mezzanine open style/no privacy/no tall people) located in the traditional Alentejo hills and 30min drive from beaches and surf schools of the Vicentina Coast. The village of Cercal is 10 min drive away. We both grew up in the area since babies and therefore we love coming here throughout the year. Having this 'monte' is a refuge for us which we enjoy to connect with nature and the sea.

Its central location makes it the ideal base to explore the stunning Alentejo coastline.

It provides a small kitchen/living roo, a large terrace and 2 bedrooms with bathrooms for up to 4 people. The location is very remote, and you have little noise or traffic. The area is protected, the nature wild and pristine. This house depends from a larger property that provides water, electricity etc autonomously.
