My wife and I were lucky enough to spend a week at Skylark Cabin and we could not imagine a better holiday. We had an amazing time. From the inspired architecture of the cabin istelf, to the thoughtful and luxurious fitout and furnishings - Garry & Liz have made this tranquil escape somewhere you will always remember and cherish. Spotlessly clean, well stocked, extremely comfortable, the best shower head in the Southern Hemisphere - the only thing I would change is the length of our stay, we'd still be there! Communication with Garry and Liz was fantastic - simply the best hosts. Skylark is something quite special - thankyou for a wonderful stay!

absolutely stunning place. Worth every penny spent. it has everything that you ask for, great rooms, great views, boat loads of amenities, huge collection of games, DVDs, books. the room upstairs provides you opportunity for Star gazing while lying on bed. perfect for family. my kid loved this home the most with so many things to do. absolutely perfect in all sense

The cabin made for a beautiful and charming stay during our two nights in Twizel. It was quaint yet well-equipped with everything we needed. As city folks, we really enjoyed the novelty of chopping kindling—it made the experience feel extra special. The fireplace not only kept us warm but also added a lovely, cozy atmosphere. Although both nights were foggy, the skies miraculously cleared as we were checking out, revealing the stunning mountain views and surrounding landscape. Absolutely breathtaking! We would love to return someday with better weather to fully soak it all in.
