It was used by the guardians of the weir and lock. The most beautiful chateaux, villages, vineyards of the Loire Valley and the Beauval zoo are minutes away.

It is located in the heart of the Loire Valley castles (Château de Chenonceau, Cheverny, Chaumont sur Loire, Amboise, Blois, Montpoupon...) and 23 km from Beauval Zoo. It is located in the village of Pontlevoy with a bakery open from 6:30 a.m. except on Wednesdays and a Carrefour Contact (8 a.m./8 p.m. except on Sundays 9 a.m./1 p.m.) nearby. It is a well-equipped cottage on the hosts' plot with a small private garden.

The residence of les Caves Archées is situated in the village of Bourré within close proximity of Montrichard in the Cher Valley. The house and flat attached are perched on elevated grounds with a very beautiful view of the valley. The property is set amongst vineyards and forest above and a park below it. This position makes the location of the house a haven of peace and tranquillity.
