Oita Prefecture has famous hot spring resorts such as Yufuin and Beppu, but Oita City also has many natural hot springs that are fed directly from the source spring. Beppu City Hall (about 8 minutes on foot), Beacon Plaza (about 2 minutes on foot), and supermarket are about a 2-minute walk away, so you can eat slowly in your room after purchasing vegetables and drinks. The bathroom is only a shower, but there are many flowing hot springs in Beppu, so it's a good idea to go around hot springs.
