The surrounding area has good hiking conditions both on foot, on skiing and by bike. Right outside the door there is a well-developed network of approximately 100 km of well-groomed ski slopes. There is a short distance to the alpine facilities in Trysilfjellet (25 minutes) and Sälen (35 minutes). Here you have proximity to activities for both large and small and to all seasons.

Easy to get to the cabin and about 30 km to Mora.

After a gravel road up on a mountain in the heart of the fine forest you will find the tranquility of this gem with everything needed for a wonderful holiday. Here you live with the silence in the middle of nature, right by a lake but with all the amenities you might need. In the nearby area there are several lakes and nice fishing waters, the opportunity to pick berries and mushrooms, hike or why not take a ride on any snowmobile trail.

Off-grid serene timberwood cabin by a lake

Welcome to a serene and quiet place in the forests of Venjan, Mora. Here you can enjoy the stillness of living in a forest in a comfortable and ecofriendly way. The cabin is located on a small hill-top with a creek below. The creek leads up to a larger lake and both are very fine fishingwaters containing pike and perch among others. There are no neighbouring houses in the vicinity.

The cottage is located on our own plot (5,000 sqm) in the nice village of Sunnanäng, Leksand. The village is located along Siljan, by car it takes 4 minutes to Leksand Sommarland, 8 minutes to central Leksand and equally close to Tällberg.
