House holiday rentals in Old Mission

Ive rented alot of air bnbs over the years. So far? This has been the best experience ive had. The house was amazing. Super clean. Comfortable beds. Super well stocked with amenities that most places dont provide. Jennifer is super easy to communicate with and get ahold of. We will be back next year:)

We had a wonderful stay at Richard's condominium! The condo is apart of a larger resort, Shanty Creek, and with the passes that were left for us to use, we were never bored! We explored the Lakeview Hotel and pool amenities there, the private beach, and the Shuss Mountain resort as well. This was especially nice for the 12 year old we had with us. There was a couple staying next to us (not under Richard's purview), who had loud dogs who would not stop barking but after messaging Richard, we heard them very rarely and then not at all, so we really appreciated the timely response we had from him and the action he took by informing the HOA for that condo. The little touches here and there were also really appreciated, like the fan/lightbulb fan charm cords so we knew which cord was for the light and which was for the fan. We plan on coming back for sure! Highly recommended place for people of all ages to enjoy.

The cabin was even better than expected! Nicole responded to every question that I had within 10 minutes. This was the perfect place for a kid free getaway and I think it would be just as fun in the winter as the summer. The location was perfect for visiting other cities if you want to travel around. We went to Petosky and Boyne city and visited Northern Michigan speedway on Saturday night. We will definitely be back!

Great place for the family. Plenty of things to do at the house. Also not too far from Traverse City or Boyne Mountain. Would definitely stay here again!!

This was our second time staying at Ladonna’s home. Very clean and comfortable and would stay again.

We have stayed at Timber Valley multiple times as a family and it is always a yearly highlight getaway for us. Kristi's place is very cozy and inviting especially being surrounded by the woods and nature. The house is the perfect size for our family of six and we have even had additional family stay with is in the past with more than enough room to accommodate our needs. Kristi is always responsive and helpful with any questions or concerns that come up. You can't go wrong with a stay at Timber Valley!

We had a great stay this weekend! The house was clean, spacious, and exactly as described. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was well-stocked, making it easy to cook and hang out as a group. We especially appreciated the outdoor space—it was perfect for relaxing after a long day. Communication with the host was smooth and responsive. Would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for a hassle-free and enjoyable stay!

My family loved the place. It was perfect for my 2 young granddaughters. It was a great location. We visited not only Suttons Bay and Traverse City but also enjoyed Glen Arbor. It was close to the bike trail. We also went on a couple of hikes. (Empire Bluffs and Pyramid Point). My adult children and spouses visited wine country in the Old Mission Peninsula while I watched my granddaughters. The nursery and playroom was perfect for our family. We loved the open concept in the kitchen and family room. We enjoyed the beach across the road from the house. Thanks for a wonderful time! It will be a vacation my family will never forget!

The house was beautiful and perfect for our group. Convenient location for a day in traverse city but was a quiet and peaceful retreat to come back to. Host was very responsive and helpful! We would definitely consider coming back if we visit this area again.

Book it! Go enjoy the state parks, higgins lake, the zoo, miles of trails for bikes or walking and have a beautiful place to call home for the night. Food and ice cream all over the area. It's the kinda of place where they make you pump your gas befor you pay. Took my boat and overall it was just a great time! The place is clean and quiet. I doubt you will be disappointed.

Very modern space with all the amenities in quiet, natural surroundings. The home was in an area of upper Michigan that is in less-travelled with a quaint small town with good restaurants and small grocery store. All the more-travelled areas are in easy driving distance. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely consider going back!

great location and great place. my wife and I celebrated our wedding anniversary and it was a perfect location to do a lot of things. as well as very comfortable to just chill at the house and do nothing! we loved it

We stayed here for wedding/birthday get away This place was great, super nice house tucked away in the woods walkable from town, Virginia leaves you with all sorts of recommendations to try places to check out and options for everyone. She was super easy to work with and super responsive, we needed to reach her for one minor thing at about 8:30 pm and she responded within 5 minutes and helped with exactly what we need. Definitely recommend!

Murray Cottage is in a great location, just 5 minutes from Sutton’s Bay and 15 from Traverse City. It is a perfect spot if you plan on visiting all the towns in Leelanau. The house was clean and tidy and could easily accommodate our group of 6. The yard was huge and perfect for our dogs to get their energy out. The street was very quiet and the neighbors were friendly and welcoming as well. Josh was a great host and was so welcoming and willing to work with us. You should consider staying here!

This was easily the best Airbnb we have stayed in. I’m still shocked at how clean and high quality everything was. We had the best trip with our two young kids. They were entertained and loved the play area and wide selection of kids books. Every detail was clearly considered and thought through. They even had beach chairs, beach toys, and all the supplies for s’mores. We can’t wait to come back!

My son got married in the area so my husband and I stayed here with my adult sister, two adult daughters and their partners. It was the perfect location between Traverse City and Northport, with easy access to great local spots like Suttons Bay Ciders, Hop Lot, downtown Suttons Bay, Glen Arbor, etc. The house was immaculate and well appointed; the layout worked well for the 7 of us. There wasn’t much downtime between wedding activities, but we did find a few minutes to complete an awesome 1000-piece puzzle and marvel at the great selection of games. Basement could be chilly but Zack provides lots of comfy throws. We used every inch of the house, including the garage, laundry and spare refrigerator. All in all an excellent accommodation!

This home was the perfect spot for a quick weekend escape—peaceful, relaxing, and filled with great amenities. The view of the lake was beautiful, especially at sunrise, and made mornings feel extra special. Everything inside was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up to make our stay easy and enjoyable. Communication with the host was excellent—clear, responsive, and helpful from start to finish. Overall, a great place to unwind and recharge.

Sarah was extremely communicative, and went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable. She even checked in on us one night to make sure we knew how to turn the heat on. (Very sweet!) The cottage is clean and comfortable, with everything you need for a long weekend. We enjoyed the fire-pit and board games! The area is gorgeous, with quick access to Traverse, Petosky, and Charlevoix. We saw lots of deer, bunnies, and squirrels, and the leaves were absolutely gorgeous! This is a GREAT little hideaway! We had a wonderful stay at Chris's listing! Gorgeous Airbnb, very clean and well-decorated, and accommodating to all things we needed! The location was great and private, but still close enough to downtown Traverse City and other beaches. Our dog also had a fun time running around in the private yard. Chris was also a great host, was super responsive and helpful, and we loved the local tecommendations!

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful lake house! The views were absolutely stunning. The house itself was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. The host was friendly, responsive, and made check-in a breeze. Had a great time staying here! Close to Charlevoix, all the ski resorts were drivable too! The stay was very cozy, the area is very peaceful and quiet. Getting in and out was easy. Would highly recommend!
