Beautiful hiking, MTB tracks, cycling From the cozy mountain town of Laven, the train runs in a short time to Ry, Silkeborg, Sejs, Aarhus, the station is only 400m from the apartment. There is no internal staircase between the floors, and there is a private entrance to the apartment. Wifi 👍

WELCOME to a stay in our beautiful apartment, which is located in the amazing nature, right up the forest and with several lakes in the area - including a short distance to Østre Søbad, where you can swim all year round. There's also a sauna in connection with the lake. We live in the middle of Søhøjlandet and have a 10-minute drive to Silkeborg city center. There are 2 km to Pizzaria and shopping in Virklund. There is wifi in the house, but no TV as we invite you to peace and good nature experiences. There is underfloor heating throughout the home.

Cozy guest house with kitchen, bathroom on the ground floor and two living rooms with a bed as well as a room on the 1st floor. There's plenty of room and great views. Original condition with old carpets and a few punctured windows. The location is top for cycling and hiking in Søhøjlandet. 5 km to Himmelbjerget through the forest. 1.5 km to Ry station and the cozy harbor. The stairs are steep but with doors that can be closed if there are small children. We have had many great vacation experiences with Airbnb ourselves and want to welcome you!

Small cottage on a large natural plot close to Gudenåen

The cottage is simple and personally decorated. Still with some of the atmosphere from '67 when it was built. It is located on a large natural plot (3,000 m2) in a protected cottage area, close to Gudenåen with access to a common area with a jetty and its own canoe. The forest, Mossø and the heather hills are just around the corner. On the property, there is an annex that we ourselves have for our products. Sverre is a ceramist and Anne Mette is a weaver. We live (and work) in the neighboring house and are always available when we are home.

Small annex located in the garden. There is a bathroom, a loft and a living room with a small tea kitchen. The kitchen includes hobs and a combi oven, as well as a coffee machine. The loft has a beautiful view, especially in the evening where you can look at beautiful sunsets and stars. There are 2 mattresses on the loft, and the possibility of a third. There is a sofa bed in the living room that sleeps two people. It is possible to borrow an air mattress and travel bed, just write. NOTE: there is NO Wi-Fi coverage.

The cottage is located in the first row to Gudenåen, from the cottage there are 200 meters to the river's edge. There is direct access to hiking and cycling trails. The cottage is located on a natural plot where you can enjoy the quiet nature and the experiences it offers. You can light a fire and spend the mild evenings outside. The cottage was built in the fall of 2019, is tastefully decorated, the cottage is built in natural materials and built on sustainable and ecological principles

Vidkærhøj

If you want to experience Denmark from its beautiful and quiet side, then “Vidkærhøj” is the place for you. The home is part of our property from the 1870s, and was originally an old barn, which we have lovingly restored over the past few years. It is centrally located between Aarhus, Silkeborg and Skanderborg. It is high up here, and if you like, our dog, Aggie, would love to greet you, just as our cats, chickens and rooster are also very curious. We can’t wait to host you 🤗

Cabin to the nature lovers

Experience nature close to Rørbæk lake, at the Jutland ridge, (30 min. walk from the cabin), springs Denmark's two largest rivers, Gudenåen and Skjernåen, with only a few hundred meters distance and runs in different directions towards the sea(10 min. walk from the cabin) In the same place, Hærvejen crosses the river valley. Wake up every day with different birdsong. From Billund airport by bus it is about 2 hours to the cabin We hope you enjoy the area as much as we do!

Nordic Annex Apartment in the Countryside

Welcome to our cozy one room apartment in the countryside. The apartment is located in a separate annex in connection with our house (we have two apartments in the same annex). So you have your own place with a fully equiped kitchen, a bathroom, a terrace and a small green space. The terrace and the green space is shared with the other apartment in the annex. Enjoy some relaxing days in peace and quiet. We look forward to meeting you.

The Yellow House by the Forest

The perfect starting point for hiking, mountain biking and other activities in Søhøjlandet. The house is not far from Himmelbjerget and the MTB track Danmarks Tag. We are happy to share hiking routes from the house on Topo GPS. The house has 2 bedrooms with one and two beds respectively. In addition, a bed in the living room, where there is also the possibility of making up a sofa or mattress.
