Stay in the cozy studio, tucked behind my main house. The studio has queen bed with memory foam on the mezzanine level. The ground floor is a living room with fold up desk, a garden view, small fridge and microwave, two single chairs. Next to studio is private bathroom, open air shower and sink area. Outside relax in the shaded garden area just for guests. Please respect the no smoking on the grounds. You can borrow a push bike with lock and helmet.

Rhoda was very responsive and made our stay so enjoyable! Her space was comfortable and had everything you needed. Being in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood was a plus since we took our pup and he gets startled from loud noises. I would recommend this place to anyone coming to SD. Mission bay park was 5 min drive!

If I could rate my stay more than five stars I most definitely would! Darren is such an amazing host that truly goes above and beyond to ensure you are comfortable and have everything you need. Everything was incredibly clean and if you forgot to pack something, it was surely available for you in a cabinet or drawer. The location is 10/10 and exactly what I was looking for- walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, and grocery stores, all while still being able to get a quiet and comfortable night's rest. Feeling safe is the number one priority to me as a solo female traveler, and Darren's place definitely provided that. Darren, Ryan and Crispy immediately make you feel welcomed and genuinely make you feel like you're at home. Darren was kind enough to give me many recommendations throughout my stay and we spent many hours having great conversations. I could have easily spent my entire week at the Airbnb talking to Darren LOL. Highly recommend and will book here in the future!

The place is right into Old Town, lots of things to do within walking distance and easy access to other famous San Diego spots. Hosts were very responsive; place was as described and what stood out to me the most was how the family was able to enjoy a good night sleep. Even though the place is in a busy area, it is peaceful at night.
