Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Oldham County

Glencairn knoll was the perfect place for our family gathering. We enjoyed lots of pool time in the beautiful (heated!) pool, made smores at the firepit, caught up with friends and family in the area, and our kids loved having a space of their own in the fabulous basement (karaoke was a crowd favorite)! We took a couple of side trips to the Makers Mark distillery and Taylorsville Lake - both highly recommended! We loved everything about this place and would love to come back another time.

This was a cozy getaway with a great view of Ohio river. The decor was spot on. The hosts are wonderful and easy to work with. Gave us the relaxation we greatly needed. Thanks for such a wonderful experience.

We wanted a quick, midweek, night away for our 20th Anniversary. We’d had a particularly overwhelming a stressful, busy couple of weeks with other family commitments and a death near the family. We booked the day before our stay- very last minute! Becky & Heather were fantastic hosts. The house was ready, the hot tub looked brand new it was so clean, the backyard is an oasis of relaxation, and everything was just perfect. We were able to relax and enjoy! We ordered take out from the nearby Crestwood Bistro- delicious!! Just wish we’d had more time. We’ll definitely recommend Becky & Heather’s place to friends and family.

Great place to stay in the heart of Oldham County. Close restaurants. Plenty of activities. The amenities were great. New appliances and plenty of space for our needs. Highly recommend.

The Sweet Retreat is a cozy and comfortable house surpassed our expectations, was absolutely spotless and beautiful. Located in a very central area, where you can find supermarkets, gas stations, a variety of restaurants such as "El Baqueron” mexican food, it’s delicious! Also on the back of the building there is a bakery where they make the most delicious bread. Devan, our host was respectful, sweet and very kind. Always available when needed. My family and I would definitely give it 10 stars if we could. And of course we will come back again!!! Thank you so much Devan!!!

We were in the area for a wedding celebration at Yew Dell botanical gardens. The cottage was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the coffee that was provided and other amenities. We would not hesitate to stay again.

I stayed here for my bachelorette trip. We had a total of 8 people, there was so much room! loved this house and will definitely book here again if we plan to visit Louisville again.

Cozy cottage is exactly as you would expect something to be cozy as it is very small. But it was absolutely lovely for two people for two days. Probably the cleanest Airbnb we’ve been in! The host Tyler was super responsive answer questions quickly and even brought over some hangers when I asked about a hanger. I would definitely book here again for a weekend.

This is my third time staying at this property as travel to Louisville from work every 2-3 months. It is absolutely stunning. Waleed is a great host and very prompt and helpful in responding. Property is exactly how it’s listed. Great area to stay with beautiful surroundings and great restaurants at walking distance. Highly recommend the place.

Michael’s place was clean and accessible to some great coffee shops and walkable neighborhood amenities. I would stay here again!

Nice clean place to rest after a hard days work...

Matt's place was in a great location, but took us a min to find. Once we found it, surrounding area was great! Close to bars and restaurants and downtown louisville. Door was a little difficult to open once we learn we had to push it hard in order to get it open. LOL. But overall great stay!!

Meagan has maintained the apartment beautifully. It was a lovely unit that my friends and I enjoyed staying in. Excellent work on decorating the apartment.

We loved Jessica's place for our four night stay in Louisville. The studio is bright, spacious and beautifully decorated. Well provisioned with everything you need for your stay, and within easy walking distance of NuLu. Highly recommend Locals Pizza & Grocery Store which is right around the corner. Would definitely stay here again next time we visit.

Nice safe place for the value. Wasn’t a fan of the parking with a large SUV and current remodeling but it was safe and clean. The living area was spacious and comfortable. Rooms were clean.

Great stay & location - very close to relatives, shopping, eating, and easy access to highways for travel! Many activities to participate in and enjoy locally - really enjoyed Gallrein Farms!!! The facilities were as stated - loved the two bedrooms and two bathrooms - they were arranged in such a way as not to disturb each other if waking times were different, and also spacious! Katie was responsive and all communication and directions were clear. Will definitely check out again when visiting Shelbyville!

I came out to Louisville to visit my sister who was having a baby. This place was super convenient for us since it was so close to the hospital. It was easy to get in and all the rooms were super clean. I definitely would come back to stay again!

My wife and I had an amazing time! The place was private, clean, convenient, welcoming and modern. Great decor and walkable to restaurants, bars and two blocks from 4th Street Live. We would definitely book again!

this is our second time at Libor's spot. it's impeccably clean. close to NuLu where all th best resturants and bars are out. very walkable area, but is quite enough to get a good night sleep. the parking space is greatly appreciated as well. Great overall value.

We stayed the weekend in unit 4. Check in was easy. Marshall was very responsive when I had questions. The unit was completely as described and very clean. Temperature was on point, too. This unit had everything we needed in the kitchen, bathroom and even had extra bedding. Quiet even with other guests staying in neighboring units. The Muhammad Ali theme throughout was nice. We will definitely be back to stay! What a great location with tons of nearby shopping, restaurants and beautiful river walk. What a fun town.
