Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Olney

My family and I had a wonderful stay at Barefoot at Broke over the long weekend. The house is beautifully decorated, comfortable and felt extremely spacious for the 5 of us, plus our family dog. Located in Broke, the property feels private and secluded, yet only a short drive away from some amazing wineries. Steve and Jen were also very responsive hosts, answering all our questions promptly and providing clear instructions for check in/ out. We would highly recommend Barefoot at Broke for a small group getaway - we had an amazing time!

Great place and location for a group base to explore the Hunter valley. Relaxing and easy to stay. Good amenities and well appointed house.

Belinda’s place was perfect- adults, kids and teenagers had a wonderful time! The place was perfect for bush walks, stories and marshmallows around both fires and was so quiet! The place was everything you expected, but better. We dove straight into the welcoming gift basket, popped the wine, slipped on the slippers and got stuck into the amazing collection of board games. If you want to switch off, get the kids of ipads and television- this is your place! So much to see and do, get back to nature and be a family!!!

We had a wonderful one-night stay at this lovely Airbnb. Morgan was very nice: from the warm welcome to thoughtful little touches that made the house feel like home. The location is fantastic, with easy access to the restaurants and stores, yet tucked away enough to be peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a bit of heart in the stay.

Quiet, Fabulous panoramic views of the Hawkesbury from an elevated deck. Wood burning fire with plenty of supplies made the wintery chills go away. 10mins from Wiseman’s Ferry crossing. Enjoyed staying would recommend - access is via a steep set of steps - hence the view :)

We stayed in Kate’s place over a weekend to celebrate some significant birthdays with the family ranging in age from 71 to 0. It suited us perfectly! Well equipped for babies through to more elderly. 3 bathrooms, laundry and 5 bedrooms with separate TV room. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets, cosy fireside and fun on the lake at the bottom of the garden. Take board games and books. Location worked very well for us as some travelled from Sydney and some from Newcastle on a Friday evening. Can thoroughly recommend.

Beautiful big apartment. Reminded me a bit of an old Queenslander with mod cons. Lots of charm. Wish we could of stayed longer.

We loved the Bond House apartment. Despite the unusual access across the park it was well worth it once inside. Eclectic stylishly furnished spacious apartment well located for East Newcastle. A well stocked larder and great laundry space if you need it. Bathrooms very modern with heated towel rails and big fluffy towels! Beds very comfy too

Experience was great from beginning till the end. Place was nice and views were amazing. jaccuzi was hreat also. one of the nicest air bnbs ive been too. would highly reccomend

This was a last minute find for us but it was just amazing. There were 3 ensuites and 1 main bathroom which made the stay for 4 of us couples with kids amazing. The living space was huge with a very comfortable couch, I only wish the TV was a bit bigger. The outdoor areas are well equipped with sufficient seating and spots to relax and enjoy. The house was clean however had a few cobwebs underneath dining chairs and some really big spiders roaming about but other than that it was spotless.

Matt’s place was incredible. We stayed there for 2 nights for a girls weekend getaway. We loved the property so much that we skipped some of our scheduled wine tastings to sit around the cozy fireplace, watch the spectacular sunsets and enjoy the 360 degree views from every angle. This property has everything you could need, including very clearly labeled instructions for how to use the various appliances/speakers/fireplace etc. The kitchen is completely stocked, there’s no shortage of cleaning supplies, firewood, tea, coffee, and everything you need to make your stay a memorable and seamless one. Matt was very responsive, helpful, and a joy to communicate with. We will definitely be back. Couldn’t recommend Among The Vines more highly. If I could give this more than five stars, I would. Gorgeous spot for a getaway from the city. Close to everything in the Hunter, but well away from everything and everyone. Super easy to find and get there, check-in/out was a breeze. All the information you need is provided. Great amenities especially in the kitchen. Accomodation is a beautiful space indoors and out. Amazing afternoon walks around the property. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay! We found the property to be exactly what we were looking for, a nice getaway that made you feel disconnected and relaxed. The property is set up perfectly to bring your dog, with the secure area around the villa that allows them to explore without worry. Zoe the resident dog is also great host and very welcoming, she would come a visit each day to make sure that we were comfortable. She was very friendly and got along well with our dog, she even came along with us for one of our walks and showed us the way. We had a great time and would highly recommend staying here. We hope to return one day, thankyou Kylie for being a great host!

Great peaceful place to stay in beauty surroundings. Nice cozy fireplace watching wildlife outside. Very relaxing.

By far the best air bnb i’ve ever stayed at. The host was extremely responsive and helpful. The location was beautiful and comfortable. Will definitely be back soon!
